At Esther 6:13, Haman’s wife Zeresh showed that she knew that anyone who tried to kill Jews (God’s people) would be killed. But at Esther 5:14, Zeresh had suggested that Haman kill Mordecai (the leader of the Jews) by hanging him on a stake. When Zeresh made that suggestion to Haman, was she deceiving Haman into getting himself killed?
Remember that chapter 5 comes before chapter 6. Zeresh advocated for Mordecai's death in chapter 5. As she saw her husband was not making any headway as regards that, she now made the statement in chapter 6. It was now becoming clear to her in chapter 6 that her husband would not succeed in overcoming Mordecai
Dear Chuks, thanks for kindly replying. Do you see any possibility that Zeresh, after listening to Haman say, at 5:12, " . . . Queen Esther invited no one else but me to accompany the king to the banquet she prepared. I am also invited tomorrow to be with her . . .", Zeresh became angry that Haman was more interested in Esther than Zeresh? And that at that point Zeresh decided to trick Haman into getting himself killed?
If "approaching the king" was dangerous (as stated at 4:11), how could Esther have "informed" the king of the plot to kill him (as stated at 2:22)? (I think I know.)
I think one of the lessons in this story is that God softens the Kings hear and Esther was shown favour...where under normal circumstances she would have been killed.
Hallelujah thank you for this! Glory be to ABBA Father and Jesus Christ!
wow, how the LORD speaks and confirms. Thank you
Amen

How do I get friends... Anyone... At all?
Hi
Matthew6:33
You determine your gifts by asking God what they are, too. Lol

Who is mordacai?
Ms. Hutchins, Esther was the daughter of the brother of Mordecai's father (Esther 2:5-7). So he was Esther's cousin.
Esther approached the King despite it being dangerous. If the King did not extend his golden scepter she would have been sent to die.
