"so that..." - believing leads to hope, faith is the hope of things to come --> SO: we rejoice in tribulation knowing it works patience which works approvedness which works hope - so our joy in tribulation is rooted first in promises of God of hope (began in hope) but as we are proven in experience of life and peace/joy rises up, we have MORE HOPE - hope to joy/peace to experience in trial to more hope.

I experienced so much hope WHILE going through something very trying yesterday. I knew that in those minutes God was working it out for the good even if it was hard. And I had faith that God would produce in that hard moment a great learning and growth. And it did! I was able to see Christ even in that tribulation and know that He's still in control! And He worked in such a GREAT way!

When he says "walk by sight and not by faith anymore", he's referring to our future in paradise - when we will actually be with Christ. Currently we definitely walk by faith and not sight, but our walk with Christ in this life is all leading up to the "glory that will be revealed". Then finally, faith and sight will work together and we shall "know fully, even as we are fully known" (1 Corinthians 13:12). Blessings.

A STORY OF HOPE A long time ago, there was an Inuit family high up in the Arctic. It was a terrible year for hunting, and for months the weather was extremely cold. There were very few animals to hunt in the area, and so the family decided they would have to travel south in search of better hunting grounds. When they started their journey south, the walk became long and hard, and they had very little food to eat. Their grandmother was very old and slowing them down. is tribulation even tribulation if we have peace about it? joy, maybe, because it is all part of an adventure with God, and hope, by simultaneous joy and suffering, but peace has been extremely hard to find in all this madness. I almost feel guilty about having peace under such dire circumstances, and have found myself angry at those put it on the frontier of our walk with God. I have not made peace with my sin, nor will i accept a peace that doesn’t rest in truth. in other words peace is secondary and subject to truth. The pain and discomfort and sense of responsibility I feel in all this mess have often been my motivation to press on and grow in Christ, the basis of most of my interaction with God, and the bridge to insight and revelations of Him. They feel as almost as a byproduct of my commitments, because of effectual spiritual warfare. idk. what complexities we all possess!
Even though you feel like giving up on everything, Jesus won't give up on you . I've given up more times than I can count , and I still come back to Jesus . I want to give you another word which has been tried , through pain and despair . If He really had wanted to do me good, He wouldn't have brought me to this world in the first place but He did anyway. Perhaps another door was or will be opened for you.. a door that will lead you to something better... perhap what tou ask was something less than what He actually prepared for you... He has something greater than what you’ve been asking for. Perhaps He have shown you or is about to show you something you’ve never expected and i pray you will have the discernment to notice it. I may not understand your situation right now, my brother Peter, but take heart and be strong in the Lord. You are Peter, he calls you Peter for a reason... remember how Peter (his disciple) have doubted and denied him and yet Jesus never gave up on him, prayed fervently for him and entrusted him His sheeps. I believe he was mentioning that last phrase as in reference to glory. There will be no more need for hope, for why hope in what you see? We won't have to walk by faith due to there being sight and we will see our hope namely God! Hope that helps.
Whenever i cant find repentance, I ask the Lord to lead me to repentance. I dont know if youve tried it (im sure you have) but that always works for me. God will not forsake us brother. He knows the heart and if the Spirit within you craves the Lord, he will deliver. I love you man. I hope you can find peace in Jesus.

I'm fairly certain that he meant to say that one day we will walk by sight and not by faith. We walk by faith now, but one day, in Heaven, we'll walk by sight.

I have not made peace with my sin, nor will i accept a peace that doesn’t rest in truth. in other words peace is secondary and subject to truth. The pain and discomfort and sense of responsibility I feel in all this mess have often been my motivation to press on and grow in Christ, the basis of most of my interaction with God, and the bridge to insight and revelations of Him. They feel as almost as a byproduct of my commitments, because of effectual spiritual warfare. idk. what complexities we all possess!

If He really had wanted to do me good, He wouldn't have brought me to this world in the first place but He did anyway. He has something greater than what you’ve been asking for. Perhaps He have shown you or is about to show you something you’ve never expected and i pray you will have the discernment to notice it.

You are Peter, he calls you Peter for a reason... remember how Peter (his disciple) have doubted and denied him and yet Jesus never gave up on him, prayed fervently for him and entrusted him His sheeps. I believe he was mentioning that last phrase as in reference to glory. There will be no more need for hope, for why hope in what you see? We won't have to walk by faith due to there being sight and we will see our hope namely God! Hope that helps.

Whenever i cant find repentance, I ask the Lord to lead me to repentance. I dont know if youve tried it (im sure you have) but that always works for me. God will not forsake us brother. He knows the heart and if the Spirit within you craves the Lord, he will deliver. I love you man. I hope you can find peace in Jesus.

We walk by sight and not by faith anymore means when we get to the place which he means heaven we will see our father we will see all the treasures of heaven that we won't need to live just by faith anymore cause we will now see all the for what heaven in store for us
Good words, pastor John but at the very end you say, “walk by sight and not faith”. I think you meant to say, “when we get to the place and walk by faith and not sight”.
I'm fairly certain that he meant to say that one day we will walk by sight and not by faith. We walk by faith now, but one day, in Heaven, we'll walk by sight.
