A driving tour in Germany, with full descriptive commentary, along the valleys of the Moselle and the Rhine, with a final stop in the Eifel Region. We briefly visit Luxembourg, before continuing along the Moselle Valley, stopping at Trittenheim, Bernkastel, Zeltingen, Ediger, Beilstein and Cochem. We join the Rhine Gorge at Koblenz, and visit Rhens, Spay, Boppard and Oberwesel.We take a boat trip from Bad Salzig to Rudesheim, passing the Loreley Rock and numerous castles and villages. We finish the trip in Bad Munstereifel.

Koblenz originates from Roman times. It is about 2000 years old. It was famously fortified by emperor Constantine, who was the first emperor to convert to Christianity.

Beautiful area. I used to live in Bitburg and I miss the mosel & Eifel region. For those planning a trip, the wine festival at Bernkastel is fantastic! First weekend in September. The firework show is on Saturday night and is a must see.
Also look into the Eifelsteig trail if you're into hiking.

It's spelled Mosel.
Mosel in Germany,Moselle in France .It goes thru both countries.
