This is what is needed to show the people how to act upon the tawheed which they've learnt in the books of the salaf.
Knowledge of aqeedah and stories of those with the strongest aqeedah builds the Muslim and gives him after the will of Allah the strength to reach akhira.
Taking knowledge dry without practical examples which are found in life of anbiya , sahabah and ulama is why many peoples aqeedah only' stays in their mind and tongue .
Surah HUD(11)vs120" We relate to you of the stories of the messengers is to strengthen your heart therewith. And the truth has come to you in this, and an admonition and a reminder for the believers. "
Point here is Allah said to strengthen your heart is the reason he related to Nabi sallahu alayhi wa sallam stories of the prophets before him so what about us ?
