@@ЯковИгнатьев-т7э That´s actually a pretty understandable opinion, and i respect it. However, something about your comment caught my attention - that even if a child can tell if they´re doing something wrong, that doesn´t redeem them. I partially disagree. It´s true, children can tell if they´re doing something they do not like, specially at 10 - but that´s influenced by the environment itself they´re around. What i love about Dr Megalo is that it doesn´t paint Frisk as a saint because everything that happened is because of them, and yes, Sans maybe wanted them dead - before knowing truly who they were. Let´s say a child was taught to kill someone from a young age. The child will grow up with the mindset that killing is okay. The main question is, why Frisk sees killing as a coping mechanism? Why do they see at such a young age that murder is okay as a way to deal with everything? We have to return to the point as to why Chara fell. They do not tell us why they decided to fall into the underground, but if they hated humans so much, maybe Frisk shares that hate too towards them in a sense. It´s up to YOU, the PLAYER, as an embodiment of either Frisk´s hate and resentment (Genocide Route) or actual desire to change and move forward (True Pacifist) what do you truly want to be. Frisk maybe realized or knew deep down that what they were doing was definitely wrong, but they were misled by their hate, the resentment towards the humans, that they couldn´t see that. Like Chara, both were victims of humanity themselves. It tells us how humans can be perceived as the monsters, and it also makes sense as to why Frisk reminds Asriel so much of Chara - but as i've said before, Chara moved on BECAUSE they had people who loved them, the Dreemurs. Frisk had no one. Frisk's story in Dr Megalo is not exactly an arc of redemption because you can't erase what you've done, no matter how many resets or how many times you do it over and over and over again. Frisk's arc is how they learn to control their hate, acquire a new identity other than being just a vessel, and being able to move on and face the responsibilities and consequences of what they've done. That's why they do not go to prison, but instead Sans adopts them, because Sans knows they're a victim of the human society, a child misled by their own hate, who's now trying to grow up. Killing Frisk wouldn't solve anything because in the end, Frisk's punishment IS facing the consequences as they grow in Dr Megalo. Learning to empathize, to grow, and to finally accept themselves and the help from others like Sans did.
I really wonder what it is on the surface they’re so afraid of, afraid enough they’d spam doing geno routes just to avoid, gotta bee pretty scary and messed up. Also PEAK

THIS IS SO COOL! I've been following this AU since the first notes posted on Twitter, AND MAN- it's simply become one of my favorite Undertale AUs! The way all the characters are developed, the environments of the universe, even Chara and Frisk's relationship, IT'S ALL VERY WELL DEVELOPED! Seeing a storyboad of this scene (which I confess I cried reading for the first time) brought a big smile to my face. 😊 Congratulations on your incredible work, hugs from Brazil! ❤
Girl you are an undertale AU monster i swear how do you write like your running out of time and god it's so fire too the quality is some of the best around with peak characterization like wow it's too good
Oh so YOU'RE the one that made this AU! You got my attention with this one. Thank you for making it! What a fascinating take on the usual events of Dusttale. Good luck and pace yourself. Creative burnout is one of the usual ways an AU dies.
OMG THIS IS A MASTERPIECE please keep making more of these!! I think this could be almost as good as errortale/xTale or even better? YOUR WRIGHTING AND ART STYLE/ANIMATION STYLE IS SOOOOO GOOOODDD please make more XD
Found this vid with no context and yet understood nothing but it felt like I understood everything the moment Sans asked who we were. And the following things that happened are so good. Cause it can apply to Frisk as their own person but also a player controlled Frisk. We question what world did they come from and if that world is the reason they are so obsessed with messing around. Trying to just keep a little bit of control they might not have had in their lives. And then for the player, undertale can be an escape for many of us from the harshness of the real world. But after looking at more of the comics themselves it’s such an interesting story in how in one route the player and Frisk learn that they can’t cling to it forever and it’s time for them to move on. Even if their world is scary, they can’t be in denial forever and in probably my favorite part of the comics. SPOILERS BELOW After another talk with Sans at safe space. Sans actually relates to Frisk/player and feels sympathy for them. It is only after this talk and grief opening up from Sans does Frisk get their iconic “eyes constantly closed” look again. No more open red eyes, they simply look in the mirror as the text says “It’s time to let go.” Absolutely incredible writing and I love this take on the “Dust” style of things.
I have to ask, even though it’s off topic and late: what does Chara think about these repeated genocides? As far as I know, you can play two genocides: the first ends with you trading Frisk’s soul to Chara, the second ends with Chara questioning the player’s motives. I don’t know if the game lets you Reset it after that. But after 200 genocides, what do they think? Do they even bother showing up at the end? Did they try to plead with the player to stop once or twice? If the player, at some point, played pacifist would they even bother killing monsterkind as punishment for the player? What would even be the point? It’ll just Reset anyway. I can also see, if Chara’s even awake during Dr. Megalo, them having interest in this timeline because people remember, people are fighting back for once. A challenge and a more fitting punishment for the player’s bull. “Oh, would you look at that. You’ve done this so many times that the characters themselves are sick of the cycle. And you can’t just Reset it away now. There’s finally consequences for all that death. I hope it’s everything you wished for.”
CHAT I'M LITERALLY GIGGLING LIKE A MAD MAN, (sorta) animated content w/ sfx and voiced, which is abt my favorite AT? Me ranting abt every moment of this video below: (Im not a very analytical nor smart person so please forgive my if i say smth wrong/obvious 😅) 0:09 I got so excited here my heart was beating so fast 😭, this is one of my fav moments between sans and frisk!!! 0:26 That sound effect made me laugh out loud ❤ 0:31 WOW their voice honestly fits sans surprisingly well, or is that just me? 0:37 GUYS LOOK ITS FRISKKK , they look like they just got BASHED dude 😆. 0:38 Ive read the notes abt the lore so many times, but I still cant understand it 💀. My brain literally just cant comprehend beautiful and complex works of art. 0:53 THATS SIDE EYE IS INSANE, its giving sibling energy, yk? 1:00 MORE LORE!!! 1:09 Ughhh I love how much sans acts like sans, or at least closer than a lot of other fan interpretations. 1:18 The look they both have is, 👌👌 1:31 I need help yalls help, why does he touch the blue thing? (I forgot its name, woops) 1:37 The good parts getting started❗️❗️ 1:53 Why are all the expressions so wonderfully drawn?? Like you can CLEARLY tell with each and every stroke how a character is feeling. Also, in the notes, it was honestly kinda heartwarming that sans actually appeared nervous when frisk kept getting hurt trying to save other monsters. 2:00 I only registered this now, but that's actually such a backhanded compliment, and their face after too. 2:08 Okay, Queen⁉️ 2:13 Girl has no business slurping THAT loud 😔 2:18 Liked how he changed up so quickly! 2:21 Damn, as much as I love Frisk, I hope they kinda feel ashamed for what they've done. Especially cuz of the way sans said that. 2:34 Actual perfection! And so is the delivery 😫 2:39 I wasn't expecting Chara to be the option! 2:53 The freaking attitude he gave them 😊 3:03 The little movement, shading, and dialouge really sets the mood 3:05 I love this part sm! Sans asks pretty basic level questions that otherwise anyone would know just by looking/talking to them, as well as considering the amount of time he has 'known' Frisk. If you think about it, we as the player also don't know shiz abt them either. It really does beg the question who is Frisk? Are they their own separate entity, do they only exist as a vessel to be controlled by us, does or can chara possess them? 3:17 - 3:29 Again, impeccable dialouge, makes me want to cry tears of joy. I adore the conclusion Sans came up with Frisk and also how fast he was, it really shows how much of a smart-ass he CAN be. I luv the idea that Frisk sees the underground as a roleplay-esque game, and THEY get to choose what their OWN role is. 3:31 NOOO STOP BREAKING HEART😭. The suspense created in the other scene really just sits and hangs heavy like dead air. The camera panning to different shots like the thud of the wood after sans sudden silence, then to Frisk's expression 😮💨. ITS SO AMAZING, THE WAY THIS SCENE IS DRAWN‼️‼️ And also when sans looks at their face confirming his suspicions, realization hits sans HARD and his eyes goes dark, it gave me slight chills. 3:55 This made me tear up. Like rewatching this again makes my throat kind of close up and my eyes wide. I knew it was coming but it still made me feel, suprised and maybe angery? They didn't come down here for happy reasons, like Chara, or that's what I think at least. The worn down chew toy definitely doesnt help. Another take on this is us, the player, instead of Frisk getting hurt. Honestly, the world currently is horrific and uncertain (look at the USA rn), so I dont blame them for using Undertale as a coping mechanism/escape from reality. It also elaborates on what sans said earlier. They could literally be and do anything, and if a child only knew and saw violence, then that would be the actions they mimic. This possibly explains at least one of the reasons why Frisk has been reseting for so long. This explains, but not excuses their actions. 4:03 Sans sounds' timid and almost empathetic, and he has the tone of a concerned older brother/close friend, which is not exactly the description I would go with to decribe their relationship throughout the game. He knows that he just shoved a fistful of salt into Frisk's open wounds, but his emotions or definitely conflicting. 4:10 Heavy breathing. They sound like they sound like theyre trying to hold in tears. Its really sweet that Sans at least attempts to comfort Frisk, but I dont like how he just brushes eveything under the rug so quickly. 4:41 Thats nice, giving Frisk time to collect themselves. 4:52 Maybe Sans realized that he was kind of a prick to Frisk and tried to comfort them? Then again, they still did do all of those genocides, which included killing his brother multiple times so yeah ig its justified? 4:59 It must be so cold and lonely standing there despite the 'sunlight' Overall thoughts? This only strengthened my love for this AT/AU even more and I couldnt be happier! Ive only discovererd Docter Megalo abt a month ago and have been completely obsessed. I still need to finish reading a lot of notes though 😅. Sans and Frisk's dynamic is golden as well as my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE thing abt the game. Actually, every relationship/interaction within Dr Megalo is so freaking developed and close to the canon game! Ig this comment is my little love letter to this AU! Thank you to whoever actually read me yapping all the way through ❤‼️

My god... yeah, Geno Frisk here sounds about what you could expect considering my feelings with undertale Pacifist gives nothing i could have interest in... there is no world i would want to go back to...
i never claimed to be switching gears, my primary goal was just getting frisk to the surface. it was only AFTER i saw the worst in monsters i choose to act on it. i must have done like hundreds of pacifist runs [BEFORE] reaching that boiling point. believe me or don't sans, i don't really care, as far as im concerned monsters like other players are no longer WORTH being friends with. and the ONLY one worth [SAVING] in this world is frisk.
Well, if i want to be fair enough with sans, i can easily naming the Falling human (FR1SK), so i can make sure that frisk will not Enter The HARD MODE, Because c,mon Everyone, it,s Very disgusting To think that the real chara replaced with frisk
So from what I think I know, In this Dusttale timeline, Chara managed to take full control over Frisk's body, Which am guessing is who Chara is right there in the comic, Frisk. Since Chara is already dead (in a way) Am not 100% sure, But am guessing since Frisk fell down long after Chara died, That's why Sans couldn't find any Data on CHARA, Because the loop started the second Frisk fell into the Underground, You can correct me if am wrong but that's just my theory.
Yeah in the rest of the comic it’s made out that the player themselves is a part of this with a variation of this comic having the option [name] instead of Chara and Chara appears as someone you talk to in certain endings
@@euanpc3322 I actually find it somewhat interesting if Sans will ever figure out this is the players doing or not, Like most comics like Handplates for example, Find out it's the players doing, so in other words, What would sans feel, knowing it was never the humans fault to begin with? But US instead?
Actually there were two loops in Undertale world First is Flowey one and we dont know how long it lasted, then there is Frisk one which happened after Flowey allowed time to progress more and Frisk fell in, hijacking Flowey's determination abilities
If you played original Undertale There plenty of options but If you name yourself Frisk in Undertale, It Trigger Hard Mode which only last until ruins and not beyond, majority people would choose Chara as their name because it the most canon option

@@DarkBlitzPower thanks! i love undertale and specially dr megalo so much i couldn't help but make a comment saying my own perspective hahaha
“Thank you ArtsyRean”- said everyone
Sans really can read any one like a book (also cool animation)
I guess it's a requirement for being the judge.
@@Sora-md1ye Yeah... kinda the only single one of boring old tropes of Sans author uses here but atleast its fitting enough
"I have zero redeeming qualities." option...
"But im still fucking terrified of consequences of my actions"
@@skell6134 Sans: that’s a most accurate yet overly complicated answer
I really wonder what it is on the surface they’re so afraid of, afraid enough they’d spam doing geno routes just to avoid, gotta bee pretty scary and messed up.
Also PEAK
When Sans said "...maybe there's a life your too afraid to go back to", the screen shows a bone that says "chew toy". Take that as you will.
@ abusive family?
@@BenjaminIzquierdo-nb6tq Who knows?
that expression on your face...
you should be proud, this lil animatic is pretty neat, kid.
This au/at is absolutely peak, keep up the great work man, i honestly like how sans isn’t like trying to fully guilt trip them, but genuinely asking what there goal is and WHO they’re. Man I can’t wait to find more about frisk in this as the story continues, keep up the great work!
Yeah that hit a little hard
THIS IS SO COOL! I've been following this AU since the first notes posted on Twitter, AND MAN- it's simply become one of my favorite Undertale AUs!
The way all the characters are developed, the environments of the universe, even Chara and Frisk's relationship, IT'S ALL VERY WELL DEVELOPED! Seeing a storyboad of this scene (which I confess I cried reading for the first time) brought a big smile to my face. 😊
Congratulations on your incredible work, hugs from Brazil! ❤
Yeah so after looking at the comics this is one of my favorite au’s
Well it’s more like an at
I love this comic/concept SO MUCH OML
Girl you are an undertale AU monster i swear how do you write like your running out of time and god it's so fire too the quality is some of the best around with peak characterization like wow it's too good
You can't make me have feelings like this
very good stuff, I actually can see the humanization of both characters unlike alot of fan stuff surronding the two
Oh so YOU'RE the one that made this AU! You got my attention with this one. Thank you for making it! What a fascinating take on the usual events of Dusttale. Good luck and pace yourself. Creative burnout is one of the usual ways an AU dies.
AAHHH! SO GOOD man. I love Dr Megalo AU. Feels so fresh and yet so grounded! So lovely ♥️✨
oh my gosh my favorite undertale, fricks
It about damn time someone said something
OMG THIS IS A MASTERPIECE please keep making more of these!! I think this could be almost as good as errortale/xTale or even better? YOUR WRIGHTING AND ART STYLE/ANIMATION STYLE IS SOOOOO GOOOODDD please make more XD
This is honestly one of the best Undertale AUs I’ve ever read..
we know so much about the underground but not the surface world, eerie...
I've been really interested in this AU since I discovered it, it's so oddly fanon and canon at the same time and I love it!
SPOILERS BELOW
After another talk with Sans at safe space. Sans actually relates to Frisk/player and feels sympathy for them. It is only after this talk and grief opening up from Sans does Frisk get their iconic “eyes constantly closed” look again. No more open red eyes, they simply look in the mirror as the text says “It’s time to let go.”
Absolutely incredible writing and I love this take on the “Dust” style of things.
🥹🥹🥹🥹 oh......that was extraordinary....
Update: read Chara’s page for the AU (so glad the link works here) and I love how they look so done with this mess
CHAT I'M LITERALLY GIGGLING LIKE A MAD MAN, (sorta) animated content w/ sfx and voiced, which is abt my favorite AT?

I got so excited here my heart was beating so fast 😭, this is one of my fav moments between sans and frisk!!!

That sound effect made me laugh out loud ❤

WOW their voice honestly fits sans surprisingly well, or is that just me?

GUYS LOOK ITS FRISKKK , they look like they just got BASHED dude 😆.

Ive read the notes abt the lore so many times, but I still cant understand it 💀. My brain literally just cant comprehend beautiful and complex works of art.

Ughhh I love how much sans acts like sans, or at least closer than a lot of other fan interpretations.
1:18
The look they both have is, 👌👌
1:31
I need help yalls help, why does he touch the blue thing? (I forgot its name, woops)
1:37
The good parts getting started❗️❗️
1:53
Why are all the expressions so wonderfully drawn?? Like you can CLEARLY tell with each and every stroke how a character is feeling.
Also, in the notes, it was honestly kinda heartwarming that sans actually appeared nervous when frisk kept getting hurt trying to save other monsters.
2:00
I only registered this now, but that's actually such a backhanded compliment, and their face after too.
2:08
Okay, Queen⁉️
2:13
Girl has no business slurping THAT loud 😔

Liked how he changed up so quickly!
2:21
Damn, as much as I love Frisk, I hope they kinda feel ashamed for what they've done. Especially cuz of the way sans said that.
2:34
Actual perfection! And so is the delivery 😫
2:39
I wasn't expecting Chara to be the option!
2:53
The freaking attitude he gave them 😊
3:03
The little movement, shading, and dialouge really sets the mood
3:05
I love this part sm!
3:17 - 3:29
Again, impeccable dialouge, makes me want to cry tears of joy. I adore the conclusion Sans came up with Frisk and also how fast he was, it really shows how much of a smart-ass he CAN be. I luv the idea that Frisk sees the underground as a roleplay-esque game, and THEY get to choose what their OWN role is.
3:31
NOOO STOP BREAKING HEART😭.
3:55
This made me tear up.
4:03
Sans sounds' timid and almost empathetic, and he has the tone of a concerned older brother/close friend, which is not exactly the description I would go with to decribe their relationship throughout the game. He knows that he just shoved a fistful of salt into Frisk's open wounds, but his emotions or definitely conflicting.
4:10
Heavy breathing. They sound like they sound like theyre trying to hold in tears. Its really sweet that Sans at least attempts to comfort Frisk, but I dont like how he just brushes eveything under the rug so quickly.
4:41
Thats nice, giving Frisk time to collect themselves.
4:52
Maybe Sans realized that he was kind of a prick to Frisk and tried to comfort them? Then again, they still did do all of those genocides, which included killing his brother multiple times so yeah ig its justified?
4:59
It must be so cold and lonely standing there despite the 'sunlight'
Overall thoughts?
This only strengthened my love for this AT/AU even more and I couldnt be happier! Ive only discovererd Docter Megalo abt a month ago and have been completely obsessed. I still need to finish reading a lot of notes though 😅. Sans and Frisk's dynamic is golden as well as my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE thing abt the game. Actually, every relationship/interaction within Dr Megalo is so freaking developed and close to the canon game! Ig this comment is my little love letter to this AU! Thank you to whoever actually read me yapping all the way through ❤‼️
god this au is so well written I love it so much
Ong i love chara so much they’re so silly I love that little cycle path
TBH I like the idea of this AU so far, keep it going!

Ooh!❤
PEAK!
Lemme voice act sans frfr, W video btw
Hey artsyrean!
I have read your comic entirely, and I loved it very much!
I was asking you, I could maybe do a fan dub of this video in Spanish?
Hi! While I'm not Artsyrean, as someone who just got done dubbing this myself, and as confirmed by the comment left on the voiceless version of this, you're absolutely free to do so as stated by them!
The voiceless version if you haven't seen it yet is already on this channel, that is, to paraphrase them "exactly what that's for"!
Hope you don't mind the response from someone that isn't the original creator, I just happened to pass by your comment while coming to grab the "globalcomix" link in the description!
@@projectalpha22_va oh ok, thx for the response!
Goddddd man, don’t make me want a animated series on this 😭😭
(Also, I’d be open to VA for you 👀)
You "Play" As Someone Who You Have No Idea On What Their Past Were. What Gender Do They Have..? Are They Kind Or Are They Cruel..?
Do They Have A Name..? How Old They Are..? (Who The Hell Are You???)
Okay pretty cool.
When doctor megalo gets finished
Can we get a version of outertale from you?
My god... yeah, Geno Frisk here sounds about what you could expect considering my feelings with undertale
Pacifist gives nothing i could have interest in... there is no world i would want to go back to...
No idea abt the AU, but this seems really cool, qns I'd like to see where this is going
i never claimed to be switching gears, my primary goal was just getting frisk to the surface.
it was only AFTER i saw the worst in monsters i choose to act on it.
i must have done like hundreds of pacifist runs [BEFORE] reaching that boiling point.
believe me or don't sans, i don't really care, as far as im concerned monsters like other players are no longer WORTH being friends with.
and the ONLY one worth [SAVING] in this world is frisk.
@3:11 you never cared before, so why now are you suddenly curious?
also im curious too frisk, since i can't talk to you but i always wanted to know more about you.
@@CrockPot101 Bro, ur program isnt connected, they cant hear you
Nah, frisk actually saved in True Pacifist
Fun.
Actually there were two loops in Undertale world
First is Flowey one and we dont know how long it lasted, then there is Frisk one which happened after Flowey allowed time to progress more and Frisk fell in, hijacking Flowey's determination abilities
It's good and all...
But why does Frisk respond with "Chara" as their name tho!?
If you played original Undertale There plenty of options but If you name yourself Frisk in Undertale, It Trigger Hard Mode which only last until ruins and not beyond, majority people would choose Chara as their name because it the most canon option
3 minutes ago and 1 like is crazy
Edit: already seen it and omgg peak characterisation is back???
