Nah, it's out of character but in an in-character way Sans in Undertale takes many things completely seriously with no jokes at all. For example, offering to eat with Frisk and setting up the conversation so he could confess that if he didn't make that promise (Promises are another thing he takes extremely seriously) "You'd be dead where you stand." Sure, he does try to play it off as a joke, but it's only in response to a negative reaction from Frisk. If you kill Papyrus, genocide or not, Sans disappears for the rest of the game, and if you sing with Shyren you get flavour text saying a hooded figure is watching the commotion (Replaces the usual flavour text of Sans selling tickets made out of toilet paper), showing he is watching your every move. And in the last corridor his usual end-of-judgement is instead him delivering a parting shot "...you dirty brother killer." "Then why'd you kill my brother?" However after knowing the human's done genocide FORTY times? By then it's likely he wouldn't care at all. In fact, I don't think he'd even fight the human (Which he for some reason always does in the AUs even though it makes no sense, no hate to them though, they're still really creative and interesting). A part of Sans's character is that he seems to mask his depression and hopelessness through a smile, and this AU shows it elevating tenfold, where he decides that him dying is just a silly joke to laugh at. Sorry for springing this random essay on you :>
THIS IS SO GOOD! I had such good time watching this and it was so interesting! The whole thing where Alphys becomes the villain and discovers a way to remember is amazing! You did such a good job and I can't wait to see more.
7:17 I love this scene (ironically enough I’ve replayed it five times). The way Alphys’s eyes look beyond flowey while her bags just keep getting darker makes it show how many sleepless timelines she’s had to endure but also how she herself is a scientist and the pursuit of something new will be enough to drive a monster on forever
Given how this alphy’s personality is, I think that he would respect murder sans a lot if they ever meet because he’s the sans who’s willing to take matters into his own hands to beat the human and that’s what alphys wanted sans to do first. And as for murder he feel ashamed and saddened that alphys of all people took the mantle to stop the human
I've been waiting for an au like this. I always wanted to see more aus that center around other characters besides sans. Im especially glad to see alphys being focused on.
@@Super-Saiyan-Blue-Gogeta Not quite. Look at his head. That's a DT implant... And likely an Older Model from the _Original_ professor, WD Gaster. Remember, much of what Alphys created was implied to be "Remnants" of what Gaster left behind when he shattered.
I would love to see what would happen if this alphys met dusttale sans, something new, and insanity. All monsters who tampered with dt in one way or another, remembering the resets, and slaughtered everyone.
DustTale Sans would be happy that someone can remember. Likely he would communicate with Alphys. Killer would possibly be the opposite. Depending if Alphys finds out first before the human/player changes Sans’s code
@@IDK-qq7ct yes i kind of agree with this this alphys would be happy that sans actually tried something and tried to actually kill the human although i don't know if she would want dust to still have the chip in or not and for killer, she would hate him because he worked with the human but if it's before the hacking of sanses code that it would still probably play out like this comic did but that's just my two cents
killer would hate her and probably kill her in stage one he wouldnt care about her in stage 2 in stage 3 shes only looked at as an obstacle if she tries to do anything stage 4 is weird because nobody knows about it but its said he kills everyone he sees so
@@thememepage at the beginning Sans did remember every reset of Genocide, however he didn’t bother to do anything. He would often have break downs or be depressed, but he never had the thought to kill anybody. Human/Player would offer the deal to kill everybody with them. Sans’s would always refuse. Player/Human got tired of this and decided to change Sans’s code. Slowly Sans started to change, something new. Eventually developing DT (target soul), and a split personality
Naw. I can’t imagine sans killing the human even if he does remember. Deep inside Sans wants to be their friend, wants to believe that their brother was right that even the worst person can change. Sans wants to understand what motivates the player but also has come to the conclusion that the best course is to do nothing knowing he can’t stop us if we are determined to see the end. He can only have faith that one day the human will change or they eventually stop. The only reason he gets involved is because you are at the point of no return.
@@alexburn4014 Yeah, I can see what you mean so you have a point. That's just one of the things both skeletons share seeing the good in others. I like this story because the motivations are understandable like Alphy's going against the human like this would be actually terrorizing given what they can do. Btw imagine how will even react seeing Alphys like this, her LV, and even her knowing about the other runs that would be something.
@@palestar-wt9oy definitely makes alphys interesting. Really highlights how she and sans would handle this situation in their own way. She lacks sans faith in the human and the anomaly which means she doesn’t try to emphasize or understand why the human does what they do. Because she won’t, she ends up sinking to ours and floweys level and becomes worst. We both do it out of playful curiosity. She’s only doing it out of spit and malice now. She has long since forgotten how to love and now is stooping to torturing the human for entity. It’s long ago stopped mattering if she is saving monster kind. She hasn’t solved anything, only perpetuated the cycle of violence with the exception being on one person forever.
@@alexburn4014 That is Well said good for you and that is a very old tale: "vengeance begets vengeance; it only continues the cycle of violence," much like the cycle the human created that they are all trapped in. Also, if someone can make freaking Flowey unnerved or even terrified, you know they've reached a new low, like in the genocide run when Flowey outright admits to feeling fear. Let's not forget that LV stands for "LOVE," which is short for "Level of Violence," as Sans explains. It's a way of measuring someone's capacity to harm. Let's not forget Alphys has an LV of 99, which really says something. From her perspective, any damage and deaths she causes will ultimately be reversed, similar to how someone might commit the worst crimes during a time loop without facing consequences. For Alphys, who is a scientist, this situation is unlikely to end well so like you said she in a way became like the Human satisfying her curiosities out of Spit.
7:37 This. This right here proves that how flawed the whole concept of Dusttale is, by giving the player something new to work with You Are intentionally making them more determined n the process.
I remember reading this when it was just this comic, then this AU kept going and it was really good to read it to the end, really glad that this comic got a Dub
huh.. how interesting- how veryveryinteresting- i can see where both Sans and Alphys are coming from, and i am eager to find out what happens next also yes, it is cruel what she did to Flowey... but we have to remember what HE did, don't we? what he did was far crueler than what she did to him
Damn I forgot to comment on this video bro this comic is great and was unexpected but still fits and seems like something alphys would do consider her past experiments
Curious to see a what-if scenario where Alphys somehow taps into possible futures, seeing this one as one of them. In this scenario she already has implanted the device into herself, but before she can do anything she would consider, at that time, regrettable. How would she react to the knowledge that she was not exempt from the cruel curiosity that Flowy and the human plague the underground with? Would she wonder what her future self knows, becoming a slightly altered version of that? Will she destroy the implant, seeing herself as a possible danger? Or will she look into the possibilities to gain perspective on herself and the others? With the device she is, In many ways, worse than the human can ever be. Not because she can retain her LOVE through resets. No. While that is a contributing factor, it's her position as the royal scientist that makes her worse than the human. She can experiment on the citizens with no consequences, after all.
What if Alphys meets a player from the underplayer? What will Alphys' reaction be to see an LV that doesn't make sense more than Alphys, who already has LV 99?
What would be her reaction to finding out all the suffering and pain was caused by a higher being that she can't even touch? Players are essentially like Lovecraftian to the Undertale world since to us their world is flat 2D. We could just straight up delete them entirely or mod their world and they'd have no idea what was going on. That is a much scarier thought than just having an absurdly high LV.
Also, HOLY CRAP, that... I'm calling it "Megalo Alphys" since i don't know if it has a real name. (Unless it is just Dr. Megalo.) That design is SO cool.
I don’t think Dustale Alphys would stand a chance against Sans because he’s had multiple genocidle timelines to perfect his fighting styles and powers.
It is true but if you watch the sans perspective version then you'd see she already achieve a way to kill he human but temporarily only and not only that she outsmarted flowey who is already aware of the crisis that is happened in dr megalo and yes sans is smart but if it weren't for his fast reflexes or even alphys bad aim he would had died but well its 50/50 so im betting sans anyway sense he is thr good guy and alphys is a heroic evil type of character now.
I’ll be honest I feel like this version of DustTale makes more sense, I always felt like the idea of Sans just going crazy made little sense, especially because it relies on him keeping his memories (which canonically he doesn’t) and even if he did I don’t really see that leading to him going crazy. With this version of the story Alphys basically did it on accident, if we follow the idea of original DustTale then when a monster gains LV it affects their mental state, meaning Alphys had nothing but good intentions and something just went wrong leading us down the road we see here.
Really the situation is hopeless. ignoring the "game" and "player" control and supremacy. Frisk on their own has enough DT to, if determined enough, break the game themself (moving the battle box), just refusing to die, and managing to technically (I can't emphasize enough how it's a technicality) surpass the abilities of the God of Hyper Death, who is powered by all monster souls + 6 human ones edit: I also remembered how in some instances they can just increase their ATK output in certain boss fights as it progresses
Not really The attack output thing is explained by both sans and the snowdin librarby Monsters are weaker to the intentions of the attacker if someone attacks them with the intent to kill they will likely die thats why you can fight undyne the undying and deal thousands of damage but if you spare monster kid You can't Even deal 100 to regular undyne frisk no longer is in the mindset of killing everything EXP and LV don't make you stronger just detached from everything and make it easier not to care about others thus being able to hurt them easier About " winning" against Asriel not really first phase he is specifically holding back using just a fraction of his power for fun phase 2 the very first time frisk dies they almost give up and are ubable to reach their save file then the save their friends once they see a way to win they regain that hope by the final attack Asriel no longer wants to kill them and holds back to avoid killing them leaving them at 0.0000001 HP Frisk does however have a lot of DT since they saw literal impossible odds to win against god and still refused to lose even if said god is massively holding back
@@tuxedeoboi9155 in the au it is revealed that the reason sans is so apathetic is because he KNEW that the world is somesort of game with the anomaly aka the player (he never found out if they existed but Alphys did) as it's central focus aka the main character and universe seemed like it was programmed to have the player win no matter. The amount of LOVE or determination never mattered because the anomaly is always going to be the universe's priority from his pov. @@Woomy778 Right, and if you read my comment, i said ignoring that element, frisk still had all that stuff I mentioned. and even with the corrections mentioned Daniel in his reply, none of what you two have said has anything that changes my view on the situation being hopeless. That situation being, trying to "win" against the human as alphys puts it instead of letting the human get bored and quit. I was already aware of the Game element.
@@tuxedeoboi9155 I just wanted to clarify that in this au the reason for those things happening are explained via my previous comment and it is acknowledged that had it not been for that plot armour the kid would have died realistically. oh i also forgot to add that this entire thing was happening because Sans didn't reveal this secret throughout the entire comic and that things could have ended up differently if he revealed it.
My only gripe is… How can they remember between timelines? The device they created was still created during that run. That device should cease to exist when the timeline gets reset or erased as it was created that run… that device would have to be a universal constant to achieve this. And why does her LOVE stay between timelines? This also has no explanation, being able to remember between them dosnt make your EXP carry between resets, this is true even for US! Edit: ok I think I get it for the device going between timelines… apparently that machine is just immune to resets… but that poses a fuckton of questions that dont get answered.
It really doesn’t matter if the human has 20 LvL. Alphys is 99 so she would have the complete control over the resets Hell, I may even she may be the stronger than dusttale sans and dustdust sans
@Super-39 No diffs. Last breath is still normal sans but aided by Gaster. Which, if the human child can beat him even after breaking their buttons, Alphys, who's at 99 LVL and has way more versatility, would eventually kill sans
she'll kill sans then gaster would not do anything now sense he would just go back to the void thinking of another strategical move to face an already level 99 monster dinosaur that has the termities in her smile and has bugs in her brain same as him but more twisted.

And in the last corridor his usual end-of-judgement is instead him delivering a parting shot "...you dirty brother killer." "Then why'd you kill my brother?"
However after knowing the human's done genocide FORTY times? By then it's likely he wouldn't care at all. In fact, I don't think he'd even fight the human (Which he for some reason always does in the AUs even though it makes no sense, no hate to them though, they're still really creative and interesting). A part of Sans's character is that he seems to mask his depression and hopelessness through a smile, and this AU shows it elevating tenfold, where he decides that him dying is just a silly joke to laugh at.
Sorry for springing this random essay on you :>
alphys: dont you care about papyru-
sans: (goes ultra instinct for a sec) watch it pal you dont need to go that far
THIS IS SO GOOD! I had such good time watching this and it was so interesting! The whole thing where Alphys becomes the villain and discovers a way to remember is amazing! You did such a good job and I can't wait to see more.
7:17 I love this scene (ironically enough I’ve replayed it five times). The way Alphys’s eyes look beyond flowey while her bags just keep getting darker makes it show how many sleepless timelines she’s had to endure but also how she herself is a scientist and the pursuit of something new will be enough to drive a monster on forever
5:14
Alphys: DON'T YOU CARE ABOUT PAPYRUS-"
sans:shut it before I make you like your short armed cousins."
Alphys: SANS! YOU JUST SAW YOURSELF DIE!!
Sans : You know.. I know i will die.. But i will try to find ways.
Given how this alphy’s personality is, I think that he would respect murder sans a lot if they ever meet because he’s the sans who’s willing to take matters into his own hands to beat the human and that’s what alphys wanted sans to do first. And as for murder he feel ashamed and saddened that alphys of all people took the mantle to stop the human
he???
murder sans yes dusttale probably not
Murder sans is the canon name of the sans in canon dustale @@Woomy778
this is definitely the coolest version of alphys i've seen.. wow. amazing dub too :)
I thank you for dubbing this, I've been following it on twitter till it's end yet no one has done a dub of this AU before, so this is pretty cool.
I've been waiting for an au like this. I always wanted to see more aus that center around other characters besides sans. Im especially glad to see alphys being focused on.
Sans: so... you have been Busy, Huh?
Sans has something similar to alphys, PATIENCE
Doctor Megalo: "Indeed I have........*Sans*. And you are no match for me."
Sans: special attack blaster
PlotTwist: Sans came back with the 6 human souls.
As they say: The Pathway to Hell is paved with Gods Intentions, and Alphy is skipping her way there
Alphy’s will soon learn her actions will have consequences. And I like how she looks like Gaster now.
Evil Alphys, huh?
Well... Heroic Evil??
Anyway, this is a badass (and messed up) concept, and the dub's awesome!
Sad thing is, it stops being "heroic" after a while.
Sans finds the way even in a serious scenario like this, a joke or puns😂😂😂
Sans like that;
*Problem not my problem*
*That's just not my problem* 🥱
I would love to see what would happen if this alphys met dusttale sans, something new, and insanity. All monsters who tampered with dt in one way or another, remembering the resets, and slaughtered everyone.
DustTale Sans would be happy that someone can remember. Likely he would communicate with Alphys.
Killer would possibly be the opposite. Depending if Alphys finds out first before the human/player changes Sans’s code
@ i didn’t know the human changed killer’s code so he remembered, i thought that was either a Chara thing or dusttale type scenario
@@IDK-qq7ct yes i kind of agree with this this alphys would be happy that sans actually tried something and tried to actually kill the human although i don't know if she would want dust to still have the chip in or not and for killer, she would hate him because he worked with the human but if it's before the hacking of sanses code that it would still probably play out like this comic did but that's just my two cents
killer would hate her and probably kill her in stage one
he wouldnt care about her in stage 2
in stage 3 shes only looked at as an obstacle if she tries to do anything
stage 4 is weird because nobody knows about it but its said he kills everyone he sees so
@@thememepage at the beginning Sans did remember every reset of Genocide, however he didn’t bother to do anything.
Alternate Title: Alphy's learns about resets and decides to turn into Otto Octavious.
I wonder how the human would react to Alphys and possibly Sans remembering the resets and retained their levels while the human can't.
OMG AN ALPHYS CENTERED AU ?!!! Instant one of my favorite.
we will need a part 2 of this
In the works!

I NEED MORE OF THIS I AM DYING THIS IS SO GOOD!!!!!!!
A nice fresh air in Undertale fan comics I like it
7:37 This. This right here proves that how flawed the whole concept of Dusttale is, by giving the player something new to work with You Are intentionally making them more determined n the process.
hooly shiit, this the first time i've seen a comic dub that's on par with something like Handplates. Gawd dayum, this is cool asf
I remember reading this when it was just this comic, then this AU kept going and it was really good to read it to the end, really glad that this comic got a Dub
huh.. how interesting- how veryveryinteresting- i can see where both Sans and Alphys are coming from, and i am eager to find out what happens next
also yes, it is cruel what she did to Flowey... but we have to remember what HE did, don't we? what he did was far crueler than what she did to him
That was so cool. Fucked up, sure. But cool.
ths shi clean i be looking for more so i coninue watch i wanna see this fight
From the hero to villain
6:09 that voice filter is just all over the place
Ive never seen something like this and I love it so much
this brings me so much enjoy than you can imagine.
This is peak, WE'RE BRINING BACK 2017 WITH THIS ONE!!!!!!!!
5:00 what is that player a Speedruner or something XD
This is really well done, great job❤
Glad to know more peopel are dubbin this, very nice very nice!
love this so much
We all heard of dusttale sans, we all heard of dustbeilf papyrus, but did you ever heard of doctor megalo alphys?
And have you heard of spear of vengeance undyne or ut dusttale flowey
@@jatinjaiswal4762 yes, those exists.
45TH GENOCIDE?!?! OMG 😭
Seeing flowey in fear not by frisk makes me actually mad.
This is insanely good!
He loves Losing,the Trashbag
Also, HOLY CRAP, that... I'm calling it "Megalo Alphys" since i don't know if it has a real name. (Unless it is just Dr. Megalo.)
That design is SO cool.
Interesting..
12:27 so this thing above alphys is mettaton...?
Cool, so Alphys turns into Doctor Octopus. Nice👍
This reminds me of the flawless genocide au where sans keeps gaining love on top of every reset and removing every weapon and item for the player
Alphys has become a new villain she has been corrupted by LV and resets timelines did she lost her eye from an explosion 💥
Alphys don’t try and fight sans you will lose and even if you do win HE won’t let sans die
this is amazing, everyone's even in character
When Alphys became a god, the universe SHOCKED
Really the situation is hopeless. ignoring the "game" and "player" control and supremacy. Frisk on their own has enough DT to, if determined enough, break the game themself (moving the battle box), just refusing to die, and managing to technically (I can't emphasize enough how it's a technicality) surpass the abilities of the God of Hyper Death, who is powered by all monster souls + 6 human ones
edit: I also remembered how in some instances they can just increase their ATK output in certain boss fights as it progresses
Not really
The attack output thing is explained by both sans and the snowdin librarby
Monsters are weaker to the intentions of the attacker if someone attacks them with the intent to kill they will likely die thats why you can fight undyne the undying and deal thousands of damage but if you spare monster kid You can't Even deal 100 to regular undyne frisk no longer is in the mindset of killing everything EXP and LV don't make you stronger just detached from everything and make it easier not to care about others thus being able to hurt them easier
About " winning" against Asriel not really first phase he is specifically holding back using just a fraction of his power for fun phase 2 the very first time frisk dies they almost give up and are ubable to reach their save file then the save their friends once they see a way to win they regain that hope by the final attack Asriel no longer wants to kill them and holds back to avoid killing them leaving them at 0.0000001 HP
Frisk does however have a lot of DT since they saw literal impossible odds to win against god and still refused to lose even if said god is massively holding back
@@danielgonzalez-vm5lj True, but with this in mind, I still don't see how their situation isn't still hopeless?
@@tuxedeoboi9155 in the au it is revealed that the reason sans is so apathetic is because he KNEW that the world is somesort of game with the anomaly aka the player (he never found out if they existed but Alphys did) as it's central focus aka the main character and universe seemed like it was programmed to have the player win no matter. The amount of LOVE or determination never mattered because the anomaly is always going to be the universe's priority from his pov. Sans acknowledges his existence as an npc or a being programmed to act a certain way.
I would have loved to have this side of alphys in the original.
rean's awesome
So she got m@lested by an amalgamation and she became a lunatic
I like how this au doenst considerate itself as a dusttale au
My only gripe is…
How can they remember between timelines?
The device they created was still created during that run.
That device should cease to exist when the timeline gets reset or erased as it was created that run… that device would have to be a universal constant to achieve this.
And why does her LOVE stay between timelines? This also has no explanation, being able to remember between them dosnt make your EXP carry between resets, this is true even for US!
Edit: ok I think I get it for the device going between timelines… apparently that machine is just immune to resets… but that poses a fuckton of questions that dont get answered.
The end pretty much implies the real reason Sans wanted to stop her from using them.. Was because he already had an implant the whole time.
Well, this got debunked on the Next part XD
This is the start of another originaldust alphys
i really hope they continue this
😮
That's soo cooll!!
This is really cool! I guess Alphys remembers you’re genocides now
Really interesting take on a dusttale alphys
Human, I remember you're *_timelines_*
If KR is used as Karma here, Alphys is gonna have a *REALLY* bad time
Sans got an all natural one.
So this is the dr megalo origin story
I for one endorse this crash out
Megalo maniac Alphys vs The full might of Sans the Skeleton , epik fight
It really doesn’t matter if the human has 20 LvL. Alphys is 99 so she would have the complete control over the resets
Hell, I may even she may be the stronger than dusttale sans and dustdust sans
How about last breath?
@Super-39
No diffs.
A really, REALLY good take on DustTale? Hell yeah!
cant wait for this to be discontinued and 1million versions of this will pop up.
5:15 sans did not like that joke 💀
Great video 👍
