How To get Cardo audio on your GoPro - Helmet Vlogging Setup

Today I'll show you my Vlogging setup, how to get the cardo (group) audio on your GoPro and how this is split in 2 separate channels for editing purposes.
This biggest problem using a normal patch cable from the cardo speakers to the gopro audio is that the cardo speakers are powered, while the mic is analog. The GoPro will adjust the volume to acceptable levels, meaning if there is any audio from the Cardo the Mic will be reduced to almost zero.

Are you using a second mic or can you use the cardo mic for both?

You cannot use the Cardo Mic without modificaiton, it requires you to splice in (and solder) a 3.5mm jack to the mic. For me this worked fine, but I'd some complains from my riding group that this caused an echo sometimes.
Therefor I went back to using a second mic, but in principle the Cardo mic works fine (ruclips.net/video/_04rosJPXI0/видео.html shows how i soldered this in the past).
