New phyton 😊
I doubt that I will ever get all 7, but for now I have the 4 modern Snake Guns except the .22 cal King Cobra. I have the polished Cobra with a brass bead front sight, a Target King Cobra, a 4" Python and I just got the Davidson engraved 6" Anaconda. I hope I'm done. I was a S&W guy then I got a 1911 from the CMP. It was a Colt slide and frame. So now I had a Colt and it was lonely.
I know collecting Winchester lever actions is not all that unique but I've recently gotten into them and would be interested in any sort of lever action series out there that is similar to Colt Snake guns, if there are any... Great video thanks for the info
Hi Jeremy! That is a great suggestion and we will certainly pass it along to the content creators. Thanks and we are glad you enjoyed the video!
Always wanted a python, but would also like a a viper. Decisions Decisions
I only have 3 and they’re all new models. I have the 3 inch King Cobra, 6 inch Python and 8 inch Anaconda all in stainless steel! I love them and have interest in getting more! Thank you for the content!
Excellent video. Thanks for sharing! Building my 1993 Snake gun collection.
So pleased you liked the video. Thank you for the feedback, Chris.
Great video!! I have a ways to go to complete my collection. I need the Cobra, the Diamondback, the Viper and the Boa yet. Colt Revolvers are the best!!
I think it’s important to mention the new king cobra only has name and caliber in common with the original. The new one is on a much smaller frame size and uses a completely different action
So for those Python scholars, were they always given the Royal Blue treatment from the beginning or was that an option or was it a standard feature added to later production runs?
I've been collecting the new snake guns.
Beautiful collection. Iv bought from you off broker. Very pleased
I’m gonna definitely try me best to find EVERY SINGLE Gun in this AMAZING Family of Pistols
They all are Gems to me 🤟✊🔥👌💯👍
I have a 3 inch King Cobra, 3 inch Python, 4.25 inch Python, 6 inch Python, 6 inch Python engraved, and a 6 inch Anaconda. All new generations. I think my collection is good! But I will still buy the Viper, Diamondback, and Boa if I ever run into them
As I recall only 12,000 Boas were made, 6000 6" and 6000 4" and they were all
bought by the same outlet.
You could buy a 4 or a 6 and there were some sets sold.
If, and that's a big if, you can find a Boa today you better have hit the lottery
recently b/c they are ridiculously priced and the sets are out of sight.
I think there were a limited number of anacondas made chambered in 45lc
There's five gun shops near where I live and four of them would have an Anaconda, and the other one would get one in for you. Now if you wanted a Viper probably none of them would have it, don't know if they could get one for you or not.
Just to make it clear. The Viper was produced in 3 different model years. 1977 was the main year but several spilled over into 1978. The more rare is the 1993 yes there are 1993 Vipers. I have a 1977 and 1993. Both check out on the colt serial number lookup.
I have all 7
Nice video, thx. I am actually two shy of the collection, I have the five but am missing the Viper and Boa. I did have a chance for a Viper, holding it in my hands.....But, they stuck the price too far up there. The problem with the Viper and Boa's, yes, very limited production numbers...... However, there was really nothing special about them mechanically or physically appealing. I would rather have a 1908 Colt New Service in my collection instead........ Less niche.
Hi Chris! Glad the video was informative and hope you get your collection completed at some point!
