I’d love to see a video that includes all of your staples you have to have in your kitchen! Not any specific brands but just *stuff*, would be very helpful to someone who’s trying to convert into a more mostly-vegan lifestyle such as myself hahah Welcome back as well, good to see you back! 🥺
I just went to Paris recently and this video was so interesting to compare my experience to! I didn't get to go to very many fully vegan restaurants but Land & Monkey was incredible! I had one of their sandwiches with a pistachio cookie. It was so good that I still think about it 4 months later..
Amazing to find your channel, we're a vegan couple from Berlin and we're in Paris every August (unfortunately Rock en Seine was sold out by the time we looked) and we visited largely the same places as you! Let me just mention a few that are not on your list: - Le Grenier de Notre Dame is vegetarian with several vegan dishes, not the cheapest, but every dish is so fantastic even if the dish descriptions sound a bit boring at first. - Veganissm Incroyable - if you want to indulge in vegan fast food (incl hot dogs) this is your place - Aux 3 eléphantes - Omni Thai with multiple vegan dishes; not far away from Kapunka, but I find the food there even better. I wish we had such a good Thai in Berlin.
I went to Paris early spring and yeah, the vegan pastry game is insane! I loved Land & Monkey, VG Patteserie, Cloud Cakes and Grounded. I would go back just for that
Paris is my favorite place in the world :) I'm so happy to see more and more vegan places opening, although some of them close after a while so every time I go there I need to make up a new list. Thanks so much for these recommendations, they look great!
It looked all very yummy! Glad you had too many options to test than the opposite :) Funny I heard a french vegan parisian youtuber who went to Germany recently saying that there were so many vegan options there and it was great!! (marie sweet and sour if you wanna check it out). Good to see everyone can be satisfied everywhere 😎👍
I love Paris and I love France. Never understood ppl saying it’s ugly or whatever. Best and most beautiful city in EU. Hopefully, I can go back there this summer.
I am going to Paris in 2 weeks, so your video timing was perfect! The last two times I was there several years ago, I was already vegan and it was very hard to get decent food. I am so looking forward to the deliciousness!
I lived in the suburbs of Paris my entire childhood until I was 20, and I think it is a really beautiful city to visit but I will definitly not live here, it's so expensive and incredibly stressful ! But as a tourist i think it's a lovely expérience ☺️ and yes there are sooo many cool vegan places !
Never went to Paris myself, but it's on my travel bucket list and I hope I can make it next year 🤞🏼 Just heard that it's a bit difficult to find vegan options and coming prepared with a food guide might help, at least that's what I'm planning on doing ☺️ Your Paris travel adventure looked so lovely ❤️ Always nice to have some local friends to show you around and maybe help with the language barrier 💞
Though I've never been, gastronomically and scenically I would definitely love to go, especially after your vlog.. it looks amazing the food.. and let's be real pan au Chocolat is my favorite pastry.. so, where better to get the real deal..
I watched this video in preparation for my Paris trip last weekend and it was soooo helpful! We went to Urban Greener and Kapunka Vegan. Close to the latter there are two more amazing places: Charli's Crew and Cloud Cakes. Highly recommend both
I went to Paris back in April/March this year and I wish I had this video hahah. Everything looks so good! I got some vegan sorbets in Amorino and I think of them all the time lol. I absolutely love the city, rats and all, but I did notice it was not as vegan friendly as other cities like Berlin or Amsterdam. I will be writing down some of these recommendations for next time!
In fact there was more vegan restaurant (I mean regular restaurants with affordable meals) in Paris before 2020. But I understand that it can be hard to find them especially on google. I recommend IG instead
@@choodesny yeah I was travelling with a load of non vegans too and it was for a weekend where most of the time was at Disney! I'll have to return some day with Instagram as a guide
It's funny you went to both Maison Landemaine and Land and Monkeys, both chains have the same owner. He turned vegan after having created Maison Landemaine and created Land and Monkeys as a way to change people's food habits and I'm really amazed at how well it is working. I've had friends and colleagues go to Land and Monkeys not realising the food is vegan and enjoying it. If you're in France, I would also recommend touring biological supermarkets such as La Vie Claire, Biocoop, Bio C Bon or even vegan shops to try out cheeses such as TomPousse or Jay and Joy :)
Please please please, try La travesia. It's a lebanese place, it's not a vegan place but their falafel with hummus (entirely vegan) is tha bomb! I crave it even now that I'm back home
I going to Paris in a couple of months, I would like to save some money. So, which groceries stores did you visit/would recommend for the best prices??
I’m Parisian but this video was really helpful cause I always visit the same boring places !!! Édit : I wonder tho who likes gazpacho cause I see so much variety but I never saw anyone buy it 😂 and I know no one who likes it. Such a mystery !
Dieses Video hätte ich im Juni gebraucht, als wir in Paris waren und nur wirklich schlechten Eiskaffee bekommen haben :( Edit: In der Liste ist eins der Cafes wo wir waren: Wild & The moon. Would not recommend!
Hye, cool video. I actually heard france is not the best place for vegans which is why I never felt like going there but seeing your video it might get on my bucket list^^....did you speak english there or french there?
My issue with pastries is that I'm never sure they don't have lard/pork fat 😩 I'm vegetarian and could have them with butter but of course not with that... Pork fat (Manteca de cerdo) is used for everything in Spain and it's so annoying.
aaaa wo warst du bei meinem schulausflug, ich bin da komplett verzweifelt 😭 (mein französisch war aber auch viel zu räudig um irgendwie nachzufragen ob die was veganes im sortiment haben)
I really like Paris and enjoyed it the times I've been, but I would say that I prefer London in terms of accessibility/vibes/food. I like the variety of food in the UK and the niceness of the people to Paris. Though I did have the best Japanese food I've ever had, while in Paris 0_0 So I'm not a "love" or "hate", I'm just a "it's my friend, but not my best" about it.
I really giggled at the rats. Seems they're everywhere these days. Their behaviors are really fun to watch. We are constantly getting arguments between families around our apartment dumpster in evenings.
I'm French and hearing you pronounce so carefully french names is a blessing, shout out to land & monkey's aka my absolute favorite place to eat ever
I’d love to see a video that includes all of your staples you have to have in your kitchen! Not any specific brands but just *stuff*, would be very helpful to someone who’s trying to convert into a more mostly-vegan lifestyle such as myself hahah Welcome back as well, good to see you back! 🥺
Yeeeees! It would be really great 🥺
There are Vegan '' cheat sheets '' online that are very helpful for staples x
You should add "L'Embuscade" to your list !! It's a vegan african restaurant, so good and so welcoming !
I'm French and never went to Paris, I cannot wait someday to taste all those amazing restaurants and bakery !
I'm going on my school trip to Paris soon. I'll definitely try to visit these places and try these delicious-looking recommendations!!
oh amazing have fun!!
Heura is a spanish vegan brand. Their products are amazing and with pretty good ingredients too!
I see a trend: Mina trying weird coffee combo’s. We had the avocado coffee and now an orange juice 😂♡ The food looked amazing Mina!

So fun to watch a video of you in France while being in Germany. I'm living my best life with vegan food, it's so easy to find it, it's insane !

love how the title says "more than just bread" and the thumb nail is croissants and pain au chocolat. hahahah

Love these videos. So colourful and great work for seeing vegan cafe and restaurants ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it 🤠

Maison Landemaine having vegan croissant is because Land and monkeys is the vegan counterpart of this reaaaally good bakery

Miel de montagne!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Paris is a dream city to me, I really really wanna go someday and this video just makes me wish for visiting more💕.
*LOVE your videos💕
Simply: Best city in the world. (PS: I'm not French)
the Arctic Monkeys, this is what I call a woman with taste. I myself left for Zurich all alone to see them, 2nd time and always worth it!
There's only one rule when it's about impressions of Paris: if you're from there, you love it; if you're from anywhere else in France, you DESPISE it
Dieses Video hätte ich im Juni gebraucht, als wir in Paris waren und nur wirklich schlechten Eiskaffee bekommen haben :(
Edit: In der Liste ist eins der Cafes wo wir waren: Wild & The moon. Would not recommend!
🤩😍
Now you have video proof for the future when you realize that she's an actual stalker
Is it common in Paris to have non dairy milks at cafes?
Vegan - delicious
Hye, cool video. I actually heard france is not the best place for vegans which is why I never felt like going there but seeing your video it might get on my bucket list^^....did you speak english there or french there?
i normally tried to speak french with people first, and then they would in most cases quickly switch to english (due to my horrible french skills)
😍😍😍😍😍
thanks or watching!!

Actually "Maison Landemaine" and "Land and Monkeys" have the same owner : Rodolphe Landemaine 😊
oh tea!!

mosh pit situation
2:19 is a bit cursed lol
I really giggled at the rats. Seems they're everywhere these days. Their behaviors are really fun to watch. We are constantly getting arguments between families around our apartment dumpster in evenings.

That's the weirdest coincidence with that girl omg!
