Saving this video for next time I’m in Paris! Vegan croissants that actually taste, smell and pull like the real ones are not easy to find. When I started making mine for my bakery my goal was that they had to be identical to the real ones I’d had in Paris! It makes me so happy when people eat them and tell me they couldn’t tell they were vegan! If you’re ever in Tampa Bay, let me know and I’ll make sure you try them!
@@tangerinetangerine4400 VG def worth a visit! We were keen to try “cloud cakes” too but we were never around the area at the right time. Can also highly recommend “jay and joy” - amazing deli with all sorts from oat milk to “meat” - alternatives and with outstanding plant based “cheeses”. The “goats cheese” lookalikey in particular is exceptional!! We also visited “jimmy’s street food”, and “wild and the moon” - both great, one more burger and fries vibe food the other more a healthy take! There were definitely some others to try for next time including “brEAThe” and “the friendly kitchen”. Will return soon and report back again 🤣

I went to Patisserie Vegetale on Boulevard Voltaire and was quite impressed also with their other desserts as it is quite hard to match the results of non-vegan patisserie, which in Paris is an art form...:)

First of all, the numbers of vegans in the world has grown a lot in the last years, secondly, there are so many people who are lactose or eggs intolerant and they can't eat classic pastries. Think about that, and always be kind. if you have nothing positive to say, just don't say anything.
Veganism is universal, not American. You can complain about naming all you want, it’s not changing. Croissant means a crescent shaped bakery and it didn’t even originate in France OR with the current recipe. Be quiet
