Awesome range vid and thanks for posting. I bought a holosun 510c green dot and the TWS rail from opticplanet. Site said 2 in stock, hopefully i actually got one. Got confirmation hopefully it comes in fast. What size drill bit did you use to drill the pin out?
@@A.T.TomICBomBr87 I started with a really small one and then just slowly went bigger and bigger .. not sure the size… you can probably just grind off the rind or cut the ring off of it also without going the drill route.. yeah you should get it anytime.. I have been thinking of purchasing that sight or the holosun 512 also.
@@Mr_P_Rockzz ive put a ton of rounds thru my rig trying to zero the optic. Elevation looks spot on but turning that dial is stiff; worried i may have overtraveled but still hear and feel the click. Windage dial is easy and light when adjusting, but POI is way off to the right. I bought a laser sight bore tool as well. Gonna try that route just to dial it in precisely.
@@Mr_P_Rockzz yeah. Got another case of ammo waiting for the tape to be cut. Waiting for the rail to come in. No point in zeroing when i have to remount. Opticsplanet says its backordered😬. Hopefully i did get the last one.
So, using the center dot on your optic, shoot 3 shot groups and move the dot to the center of the point of impact of the groups, using the windage and elevation screws. Continue to do this until your dot is very closely matching your point of impact. Keep in mind you are moving the dot on the optic to match your point of impact.
At 5.50 I know I said “down” I meant left.. down and left not down and down .. no bullets in mag during video also.
