Update on this video!! I found it runs faster if you do serge the band all the way around. So nix the serging as I pointed out in this video from front panel to back and include the shoulder area when you serge.
Your videos are always helpful and easy to understand. I’ve been making camisoles lately and this is going to save me so much time! Thank you thank you!
Thanks for all these videos. I am going to buy a coverstitch so I am learning all I can. Can you use the coverstitch to do a rolled edge of on fabrics? Have you tried this?
I was wondering what the other foot attachment that comes with the machine does? The LC1 XB1265001, the manual states that it is used with a special attachment.
I have the same machine. What are your settings. Tension, stitch size. Differential, and thread used. Thank you so much. Needle type also. It sews fine, then gets bogged up underneath.
I use Organ brand needles 90/14 SUK BP, thread is MaxiLock or SureLock. Differential is the first dot past 1, stitch is always 4, all tensions at 2. Have you ever adjusted your presser foot? If not, have the top of the silver screw 1/2” from the top of the machine. I found that is the sweet spot and I’ve never have to adjust. I always use the wide needle setting as well.
Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for making this video!!!
Glad it helps.

Another great video. Thanks.
Thank you for your detailed information 😊
Do you have any video on how to attach elastic waist band using 2340cv? Thank you again☺
The Brother 2340 is not meant to attach. You will need to attach the waistband with your serger.
Thank you.
Looking forward to trying it this way, thanks!
Let me know what you think!
Great idea. Thank you
Thanks
You’re welcome. Hope it helps.

If you want to do a rolled hem, you need a rolled hem foot on either a regular sewing machine or on your surgery. You cannot do it on a cover stitch.
I do like you , it is so simple

How wide did you make the band?
I cut them at 2"
