How much they charge for 2019 cascadia valve adjustment
I think I need this done to my truck. MPG has dropped from 9 to 8.4 and very slow acceleration even with cruise on. What’s the ball park price range for getting this service? It’s a 2019 Cascadia 126slp DD15 engine

i thought you were suppose to use blue thread locker on the adjusting studs to the jam nut, and torque to 37 ft-lbs

If u hear engine got louder when idling than it was before. U can tell the difference. U also compare your engine noise to other similar trucks by standing front of your trucks hood.

Valve adjustment is suppose to be adjusted at predetermined mileages/hours listed in the service manual. I recommend every 225-250k miles or when in depth mechanical troubleshooting or anytime the rockers are removed/replaced for any # of reasons

Valves need alignment every 100k/250k and 460k don’t make the mistake of replacing injectors until you readjust your valves.

Hello friend. With respect, this video is of very little value for a truck owner/home mechanic. Insufficient info (fast forward) on methodology for immobilizing engine/rotating engine, then you didn't even show us how valve adjustment is performed, nor how adjustment is retained. I'm guessing it's clockwise on the torx screw to tighten, counter-clockwise to loosen, with locknut loosened before/after adjustment. Could you clarify that please? Thanks.

What I mean by is not enough explaining between the A and B rotation what value to set at what time
Maybe they don’t have the time to do all of that, they just want to show you “kinda” how it’s done, they still need customers to come in for service
