I have seen numerous penalties given for the slightest contact against other players, yet I doubt they would have given one had Erling not scored. Lately, some individuals have peddled the idea that there is a bias favouring Man City when it comes to officiating. I agree there is a bias, just not the way they see it.
Sigh this game was likely the game to rack up the goals early and sub as many of the starting XIs as early as possible to preserve them for the grueling schedule up till the November international break but alas the one goal cushion stayed pep’s hand.
