I've been eyeing this knife for a while. Would it be strong enuff for backpacking and camping chores. Being on the light weight side....yet full tang? Thanks!
It's perfect for backpacking, but I would chose the regular VG10 model, maybe even the serrated option. It's substantially tougher than the k390 while also not having to worry about keeping it oiled, only clean.
Chalk it up to that thinner is more slicey and the steel makes the knife still tougher than the heavy spine one, plus it's somewhat lighter with more blade length.
The market is flooded with heavy extra-thick car camping oriented knives. Thinner does more things better for the sort of activities where you're filtering water in the middle of nowhere.
They are reusing the mold injection "mold" not the material, they will need the material "plastic" regardless their cost savings is in the not making a new mold that says Enuff2. Thanks for the vid. I wanted to see just how much enuff is so I just ordered the enuff 1 not only is it enuff but it is discontinued and so it cost me a little less than enuff2 or enuff1 prior to it being "discontinued".
K390 is easy to sharpen when using the right abrasives, cbn and diamond. Shouldn't buy a knife in a high end steels and use low end abrasives and say it's hard to sharpen. They offer the vg10 for the people that want to sharpen there knife on the bottom of a coffee mug.
I am interested in steel K390 i am Cook and i have only VG10 knife..... But i think my abrasibes Is not low cos almost complete series naniwa professional stones from 400 to 10000 grit can i sharpen this kind od steel on this stones ? 🤔
I guess you can never get enuff so you have enuff 2 maybe more who knows? Is it about enuff knife or enuff money for spyderco? Just like Glock with the roll out of the G42 in 380 first and a short time after G43 in full 9...... I wonder how many G42 they would have sold if they had released the G43 first ENFF SAID.
Im so excited it's basically the closest thing to a PM2 fixed blade. It's only missing the thumb ramp!
Thanks for checking out the video!
Great to see these leaving the production line - thank you for sharing
I appreciate you stopping by to check out the video and leaving a comment! Thank you!!
I’m really looking forward to getting mine.
Mannn I can't wait mine is in route and delivers in two days!
Awesome. I love mine. Sheath, not so much. But that can be replaced.
Great blade! Thanks for checking out this video and commenting! Hope you enjoy it for a long time!
Enuff 2 would be AWESOME in SPY27! Corrosion resistant AND improved metallurgy over VG-10!!! I'm FOR that!
VG-10 is a great steel and SPY27 isn't some crazy improvement. Magnacut on the other hand..
@@em4703I’d like one in m398. K390 is awesome!!! 👍🏻
Good stuff! I’m really digging the knife and that sheath is phenomenal!
Yeah buddy! Thanks for stopping by and checking out the video! I too am liking this new ENUFF!!
hopefuly strap can come off and still be secure if one wants faster deployment
I want to pair this with Spyderco Serrata!
That would be a sweet pairing!!

I would think these would make great backpacking and camping knives. Seems like a good size and weight.

@@em4703K390 is a way tougher steel than VG-10. It holds a better edge and it can be sharpened to the highest standards (crazy sharpness).
The FRN is probably injection molded, so they didn't make a new mold with the "2"on it to save money!
I wish they had kept the thicker spine

The thinner the better. I think the stock thickness is perfect at .118 but wish the grind was thinner though
