- Love them or hate them, the movies in The Fast and the Furious franchise deliver on what they promise: gratuitous action and lots of cars. The plots may barely hold water, but each film seems to outdo the last in terms of physics-defying stunts. With hundreds of cars featured over the years, it's tough to whittle down the best of the lot. Nevertheless, here are my Top 5 favorite Fast and Furious cars from all ten installments.
In fifth place I have Dom Toretto's Dodge Charger
Starting off strong, very strong. So strong, in fact, that the chassis twisted coming off the line. Dominic Toretto’s 1970 Dodge Charger left such an imprint on fast and furious fans, that it appeared in almost every movie in some form or another. The Charger is Dom’s go-to muscle car. When things get tough, the Charger gets tougher, often helping Dominic Toretto get the “job” finished.
Many will remember the Charger from the first movie, essentially a drag car with a giant supercharger sticking out of the hood. Later versions of Dom’s famous Dodge Charger take on different appearances, but it was the original monster from The Fast And The Furious that won fans over, forever cementing Toretto as the villain who wasn’t actually a villain, and a fitting hero car always pulling through.
Fourth place has to go to the Lykan Hypersport from Furious 7.
Perhaps one of the wildest scenes ever to be created for an action thriller was in Furious 7 when Dominic and Brian steal a Lykan Hypersport from one of the tallest buildings in Dubai. When the bullets start flying, so do Brian and Dominic, as they somehow gather enough speed (Hypersport can achieve 0-60 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds) to burst through the building and carry enough momentum to crash into, and land inside a neighboring building.
At this point, the throttle gets stuck on the $3.4M hypercar leading Dominic to then gather speed again for another building-to-building jump. The two leap from the screeching vehicle just in time for it to again pop out of the last building falling to the ground far below. A fleeting moment for such a capable hypercar.
In third place it's one of my favorites, Han's Mazda RX7 from Tokyo Drift.
Tokyo Drift may be one of the lesser-loved entrants into the Fast and Furious franchise, but it spawned one of the most iconic cars of the whole series. This is no ordinary FD Mazda RX-7, as you can probably tell at a glance. You can actually order one like this from Japanese tuning company Veilside (also responsible for Suki’s S2000), which brands it the ‘Fortune’ kit.
It might look stunning in its iconic black and orange livery, but this RX-7 meets a very unfortunate end (spoiler alert) that sees its driver, the superbly named Han Seoul-Oh, exit the franchise - for a few films, at least.
Second place goes to Brian's Orange Toyota Supra.
Some considered Dominic Toretto’s Dodge Charger to be the hero car of The Fast And The Furious. In truth, it is the Orange A80 Toyota Supra (Mk4), driven by the late Paul Walker that is the last one standing. In the famous final drag race between Dominic and Brian, both the Charger and Supra pick up extraordinary speed, the Charger doing a massive wheelie from a standstill as they quickly approach a railroad crossing.
As they get closer, a train is also approaching the crossing, and knowing they are moving too quickly to slow down, both Brian and Dominic push their cars to the limit in an attempt to beat the train to the crossing, unbelievably both make it just in the nick of time, however shortly after Dom’s Charger is destroyed as he fails to see an oncoming truck.
Last but not least, first place goes to Brian's 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT from The Fast And The Furious.
Right in the midst of the actual 1990s underground tuner scene, the bright green 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT that Brian O’Conner drove, introducing the world to The Fast And The Furious, instantly became an automotive cultural icon. This was a car that influenced many others in real life and made the statement that being bold was acceptable, encouraged, and even. Because of the parallel to the actual tuner scene happening in real-time, cars like Brian’s Eclipse were immediately relatable, for some the tuner car world is solely the space they occupy.
There have been many hero cars throughout the saga, but the little green Eclipse was the big first impression on us all.

1. 1967 RB26-powered Ford Mustang I love the classic car and the midnight blue colour is beautiful.
2. The DEA 1965 Ford GT40 Again i love Ford and the GT models are amazing although i prefer its new incarnations the 2022 one is FIRE.
3. 1966 Corvette Stingray. So damn sexy, it has the perfect body, angles and curves and the same goes for the car too LMAO Letty is BAE and i love Michelle Rodriguez the bright red made it a stand out in F8.
4. 2017 McLaren 720S One of the highlights of the film, the car has those perfect curves and lines and is a beats i would love to drive one but i like the speed tail a tad more.
5. 1970 Dom's Dodge Charger R/T has remained my favourite however the Ice one could take the spot as well an ICONIC car and i prefer the older Dodges to the newer ones.

Holyyy crap watching this vid I was sure number 1 would be Skyline and Eclipse wouldn’t make the list, but I was genuinely surprised and happy to see Eclipse actually came at 1! It’s my favorite car too. Glad it made someone’s number 1 spot as that’s pretty rare.

I'd probably swap out the Hypersport, for the R34 from 2 Fast 2 Furious. I absolutely loved that car as a kid, but the Supra will always have a special place in my heart as number one all time. Besides the R34 which is a beast even stock, the Supra was the only car that had the original sound, and was as fast as portrayed. They really did build that car to be a beast. 😍
