Martina Cole talks to Fanny Black for the Woman & Home event in London June 2017

On 20th June Martina was in conversation with Fanny Blake talking about her books from DANGEROUS LADY to BETRAYAL, and her 25 years in publishing, her life as a writer and much much more!
The event took place at her publisher, Headline's head offices in Central London on 20th June 2017 in partnership with Woman & Home.
In 2017 Martina celebrates 25 years since the publication of DANGEROUS LADY, her iconic first book. As she says ‘I created Maura Ryan 25 years ago - it doesn’t feel like 25 years. I wanted to bring a woman into a man’s world - remember, it was the early 90s - so I created Maura and wrote DANGEROUS LADY. It became an overnight sensation and, 25 years on, I am so proud and thankful to Maura for giving me the opportunity to continue writing books. I love being a writer - I get to give birth to people and I bring them up and, believe me, in 25 years I have given birth to plenty of good and bad people!’

Amazing stuff. Your books are great Martina. You should do a sequel to Goodnight Lady. Henry Dumas was a horrible man, though Briony was ruthless and successful and showed him. Well done
