Q: Where are you from?
A: I was born in Pakistan but then moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia when I was only 9 months old. Have been raised and lived there all my pre-married life.
Q:Why do you mention Sweden in your videos?
A: I moved to Sweden after marriage. Lived there for 7 years, then moved back to Saudi Arabia in 2018.
Q: What is your education?
A: I have done a four year honours program in Information Technology and Computing.
Q: Who’s in your family?
A: I have been married to Naveed for 7 years. We have two sons - Yahya is 4 and baby Ziyad is 1 year old.
Q: Why are you Homeschooling him?
A: In general, I am not satisfied with the quality of education in schools. But also, our local school's system (we have only one or two international schools in our city) is not satisfactory. We are aiming to homeschool till 6 years of age for now.

Koi koi school mae bacho ko phonics nahi sikhate to agar hum ghar pe phonics sikhaye or school normal alphabets to kya bache confuse nahi honge?

I have been recently trying to mix both languages while explaining. Most part in Urdu and English in between. Will keep in mind to continue that.
The reason I am not completely shifting to English is, there is already so much content in English out there. Wanted to have some content in Urdu for Urdu Speaking people as well. ;)

In your one video when zayad was 2 year old you were teaching both phonics and alphabet together then what about 2.5 year old is we do both together or just pick phonics to teach?
Yes dear! That was the technique I used with Yahya and it worked perfectly! But as I said in the beginning of this video that Ziyad is not keeping up with that way of teaching so I am changing it for him. Going one concept at a time 😊

WalaikumAssalam! Aray nahi! Bilkul late nahi! Start now! M going easy with my second son. We are so slow as compared to my elder son! I had all the time in the world then. By the age of 4 Yahya was reading three letter words.
My little one Ziyad however as I stated late so we are still stuck at phonics. But, one thing that we started on time was Reading to him. Doing painting activities, lots of creative/ imgainative play! Legos, plus plus types of open ended toys are all in play. So, MA he is brain is always solving and being creative. Baki English, urdu wagera toh aa hi jatay hain.
Math too is something jis k liye special Bethna nahi parta. It's everywhere. Chaltay phirtay count different objects. Big small ka concept through comparing household objects etc.

Where can we get this juniors black board and map of pakistan in pakistan?
You can search this board with the name "Easel boards for kids". I have seen it everywhere in Toy shops, stationary in Pakistan.

Excellent work. I want to ask what yahya is doing now a days? Kia wo sirf school ka hi homework karta ha ab? Means jo bachey Yahya k sath sath kartey thy activities ab wo obviously school going hain MaashaaAllah. Ab unko mazeed kia karwaya jaye, Q k school mein jo karwaya ja raha ha Wo almost bachey ko pehley hi ata hota ha...pleas do share.
Yes most ata hota ha but phir bhi kuch na kuch naya hota school mey as school's curriculum is following Oxford books. In English many new words are being taught at the same time.
Some rules we have already done thru our international curriculums but many new rules sometimes I have to teach him on spot. Also in school focus on sight reading is more so I have to maintain the balance.
In Urdu in school everything is new. So we are constantly learning those as well.
The Good thing is that he is picking up fast whatever new concept comes across in school :)

WalaikumAssalam! In Nursery as soon as he turned 5.
I would highly recommend to admit child at this age. They blend in very fast. No crying/ no resisting/ and they definitely learn better as their attention span is more

You will have to go to the schools and get the feel on your own! I haven't sent my kids to any of these schools, so I have no experience. But I did visit a school named Edopia in Islamabad! And their work is tremendous!

He will get it InshAllah with time. Hopefully nothing to worry about. Just read books and have light discussions regularly. Its not like sawal jawab 😁 Just to have child engaged in books and wonder what's happening.
You can even wonder out loud. So the child hears you.

Don't compare your young 3.3 years old baby with him ... parent need to be consistent and remove the word "fed up" or "tired" from your parental dictionary. just try try and try even if you're not finding immediate result... keep doing and you will surely feel the difference after 3 months insha'Allah.. keep telling whatever your young one is asking...
