My oldest sister was diagnosed with MS about 5 years ago. It's an awful disease and it breaks my heart to watch my sister struggle because of it. I'm glad you have an awesome sister to support you ❤
Ohhh this one hits home. I've been diagnosed with remittent-relapsing MS 6 years ago. It all started with tingling in my feet and hands, just like Greg. I'm still standing, still walking, thanks to some amazing drugs that keep me stable. This couple is amazing! You can feel the love.... Thanks for sharing your sweet story with the world!
Can I ask, did/do your hands also twitch or just feel like they're not doing what you want them to? My back stopped working in May and since my hands and feet don't feel right... I am a bit worried
Greg is the greatest teacher and was a mentor for me throughout middle school. He was probably 10 years into his diagnosis and had his share of daily struggles then. No matter how sick, tired, weak, or strong he was at the time, he never let it keep him from giving us 100% of him, his humor, or his love of teaching. I continuously see him outside in his garden and cannot pass without thinking of those times. Very special man. Very special friend to anyone he meets!
Props to Nancy for her love for Greg. And also Rachel, there aren't many young people willing to dedicate their services to the infirm or elderly, that warmed my heart to know she cares so much too!
I have MS and today I got my cognitive testing results. It wasn't great news. I think I really needed to see this today. I hope that my husband is as wonderful as Nancy is! I've been married for 24 years and hope I still have many more years ahead.
Sorry your results weren't what you hoped for, Kelli! From what I understand with MS though, it can be very up and down, so maybe they caught you on hard day? As for hubby, he might just surprise you--things change, as they inevitably do anyway, but there are treasures from it... If you can keep your sense of humor! God bless you both 🙏💖
When my body was shutting down in 2012 and I was waiting to see specialists, my husband was out enjoying his “extra curricular” activity. I discovered it in January 2013. He moved out a few months later, said he wasn’t spending the rest of his life taking care of me. That was after 15 years and 2 children. In June of that year I was diagnosed with cancer in my spinal cord in my c-spine. October was the surgery and I have been left with nerve damage that affects my mobility. I get flare ups, similarly to someone with MS (one of my specialist tells me) that knock me out for extended periods of time, especially if I get sick. Thank God I have amazing parents who have been able to help my children and I. I LOVE the attitude and sense of humour this couple has 💕 This is what in ‘sickness and in health’ looks like. Wishing you many more years of love, humour and making memories together 🥰🇨🇦
im sorry that happened to you are strong and your parents are caring and have their priorities straight. Your husband was presented with a test and he did not pass.
BLESS THEIR HEARTS!! A lot of laughter is what it takes. And stand by your man. He said “I don’t know what we talked abt”.. that was cute. I just love their love..
Both of you are the pure essence of what true marriage is. Through health & through sickness, for better or for worse. I can only hope that I have a marriage that lasts 47 years. God bless you both! Greg, I hope you live life to the fullest and know you are so admired and so supported and adored! Same for you Nancy. You both are gems. 🌞
I have MS so seeing someone with MS on the channel really helps show me how different it can be for everyone impacted by this disease. Thank you for all you do Chris!
Finding out your spouse has a progressive disease a year into marriage is the epitome of till death due us part in sickness and health. What a beautiful couple.
“She laughs at my jokes even when they’re not funny” 🥺 the one thing all of your videos have in common that is so refreshing to see is true love. Whether it’s a parent & child, partners, friends. There is so much love ❤️
I was recently diagnosed with MS at the end of January of this year! Hands and feet went numb. Even want blind temporarily from the scars in my brain and even my spinal cord. I couldn't even too the bathroom, walking had to learn to walk again! Went too acute rehab This is very hard for me too live with for the rest of my life. But it doesn't hold me back! Very special video right here.
I love this channel and what you guys are about. I got diagnosed with MS about 7 years ago and it’s been a fear of mine that I may not find someone who’s willing to “travel the road less traveled” with me. But this just gave me hope. God bless them!
These two could absolutely be a comedy duo. Both of them are hilarious. And in the spirit of the jokes they make about themselves, Greg wouldn't have to write that much material for his 30 min segment : ). Love you guys.
wow this story is so touching and it brought me so much joy! as a 24 year old who was diagnosed with MS 5 years ago, this gave me hope that I can find somebody who will love me unconditionally. it has been a struggle for me but this gave me hope.
This reminded me of my grandparents. My grandma took care of my Pop alone the entire time he had dementia. She refused home health (and I wish she hadn’t - it’s admirable, but everyone deserves help and time for themselves) and did all of his care, 24/7, for about eight years. For about half that time he had no idea who she was, for about a year he couldn’t even sit up or speak. I’ve never seen love the way my grandma loved my Pop, she loved him so deeply his illness wasn’t even a factor. Or maybe it made her love him even more. That’s the kind of love these two have, and it’s such a rare and special kind of love, as cheesy as that might sound it’s true. Thanks for another great one, Chris.
My brother in-law's parents both had Multiple Sclerosis, fortunately non of their children had it. They have both passed but they managed to take pretty good care of themselves.
💖💖💖Thank you for caring, Emma, and please know that good medical staff, from nurses and doctors through to custodial staff to orderlies to receptionists and LPNs make an enormous difference during our care/stay, and beyond, you can't begin to imagine!!! 😮 I may not remember the names but I have so many dear people in my heart just the same!!!!!!!!!😍 (I'm not crying, you're crying!) LOL
I was diagnosed with pediatric MS when I was 17 and this is such a great video to me for the reason that I want my partner to know that regardless of how bad things might get, we can still get through it. There are much better treatments out nowadays too, and better medical care in general. It’ll be nice to see how much better things might be in the future.
I went to bed fine one night, woke up the next morning and couldn't feel anything below my waist, and couldn't walk. Then got an MRI, and it showed I have MS.
I have MS. It really is like a ticking time bomb. For me I woke up blind, but now that I look back I see little episodes that I now know were MS, like my right foot fell asleep for a few weeks once and I was tripping over, my left pinkie and ring finger a few years before that and blurry vision that was diagnosed for migraines. If there are lesions, those are the episodes you didn’t notice. Good luck with treatment, they are making some exciting developments at the moment.
@@blondesense1708 Hey we relate! My left palm and both of the bottom of my feet went numb. And went blind for like 5 days. Many MRI's and spinal taps. I even had to get Blood apheresis done too. Its a terrible experience. And it sucked! But we just keep fighting! Where did you get treated at?
"I try not to take things too seriously, because that would be depressing. And I don't do depressing". I'm going to keep this in my heart for the rest of my life.
I'm so happy to see this! My husband was diagnosed with MS a year & a half ago, also within our first year of marriage. We were high school sweethearts & are more in love than ever. What a beautiful couple showing the love & humor are going to keep going strong.
This was so pure and I loved them. My mom had to help my dad after a severe accident and witnessing it firsthand, it’s a lot to take on the role of caregiver AND spouse. You’ve done a great job, Nancy. And Greg, you are so charming and I wish I knew you in real life! I could spend hours joking around with you and hearing you speak. This video was a pleasure to watch, thank you!
Right in the feels. I lost my dad last year from an MS complication. Watching this is like watching my dad and mom. He had MS for 49 years and my mom was his main care taker. A lot of his symptoms were the same. MS def has an impact on cognitive function. Thank you Chris for raising awareness. I needed this without knowing. My dad also had a great sense of humor, it is how we all coped. It will be a year since he passed in a week. I miss him so much, it hurts. But he was loved and my mom was the best. Seeing this helps a little. Thank you.
My mom, uncle and grandma all have MS. Just like Greg, my mom was a teacher and after her diagnosis, it got too difficult and she retired early. It’s been very difficult, especially since I was 7-8 when she was diagnosed. I’m 21 now, and it’s definitely not easy and over the years, her health due to MS has been declining. MS has been a big part of my family since I’ve been seeing family members with it since I was very young, and since I have 3 family members with it (MS is a “rare” disease but it felt so common to me since this is all I’ve ever really known growing up) Nancy is such a pure soul and I know it’s not easy having a loved one with MS and all the hardships you go through. Bless them both ❤️

Hearing their story was amazing. I’m so glad that Chris was able to interview Greg and Nancy (and Rachel!) because their story is so important. There are a lot of interviews with young children and their parents, but I love to hear the stories of older people with disabilities and being able to understand their experiences. Wonderful, excellent interview!!
Thank you so much for including someone with MS. I feel very lucky to have been diagnosed when there are so many more options for slowing/stopping progression and a greater understanding of this disease. At my worst i was in the hospital unable to see or walk or use my hands (takes time but eventually it all came back) so it makes you thankful every day to still be walking and talking and driving and living independantly. And humor is so important, sometimes if you don't find something to laugh about you'll just cry. Again, thank you so much for including this!
My grandmother had MS and passed in 2018. My grandfather was her caretaker until nearly the very end and passed in early 2020. Nancy reminds me so much of my grandfather - giving so much love with no questions asked. Making humor out of a very difficult situation and finding joy through it all. I had tears in my eyes the whole video. Love is a beautiful thing.
There's love enough for everyone on earth. There's a special someone for everyone on earth...if we can just find that someone. Greg and Nancy have found their someones. They have proved it to eachother, and the world, that adversities will come in relationships but gliding through them with a great sense of humor might just be the key to success. You are both a success story❤

What an amazing couple! It's such a joy to see how much Greg and Nancy are in love with each other after all these years and after all they have been through! As a young woman, who is willing to start a family with her partner, I feel so grateful to have seen this family, that is still in love and strong not only in spite of the diagnosis but also because of the diagnosis! A big hug to Greg, Nancy and also Rachel. You all have made my day.💜 Thank you Chris for your work!
True love right here. While I am not disabled in this way (I am disabled though), it takes a special person to marry someone and STAY with them if they are disabled. Sadly so many leave their spouse once they become disabled because it's to much for them. They don't think of their spouse sadly. I mean I understand it can be hard of course, but love is stronger than any disability. Also if you don't have laughter, things will be hard. Laughter helps you deal with it. I've gotten to the point where I can even laugh about myself. Live, love, laugh!
As always I really enjoyed watching this episode! Greg reminds me a lot of my grandfather with his sense of humor and love of kids and his admiration for his wife, this interview just shows how awesome of a person he is! Lots of love to Greg and Nancy

This is interesting to me, I've had MS since 2008 at age 25, and was told you are "immune" to MS attacks during pregnancy. I guess not! 😳
Take care 💗
Love to you and your sister! I have a much younger sister. She was 15 years of nonstop labor, strife, and fun! Oh, my. No kids for either of us, ever. She is so brilliant! I am so happy that you two have that joy!
@@headerahelix please go to a doctor, it could be nothing serious but if it has you worried go and get yourself looked at.
“Every day with her is my favorite memory “❤️ what a Beautiful couple ✨✨✨✨💟
Agree 150%!! Perfectly said 💯 😀
Their beautiful sense of humor reminds me of our family! Such love and admiration for this wonderful couple. Sending hugs! ❤️
they are absolute goals, if my relationship doesn’t have as much love as they have i don’t want it
Greg is so sweet and Nancy is the perfect example of true, selfless unconditional love. Beautiful marriage
hearing them laugh together with real joy, beautiful.
Hello there👋👋. How are you doing today?hope you had a nice day?GOD BLESS YOU!!
I have MS so seeing someone with MS on the channel really helps show me how different it can be for everyone impacted by this disease. Thank you for all you do Chris!
Hello there👋👋. How are you doing today?hope you had a nice day?GOD BLESS YOU!!
Greg seems like someone I would admire if I knew him personally
They are such a sweet couple!! True love right here!!🥺😭
I love this couple! They are an example of true love and their humor is awesome!
"i'm still standing" LOL omg I love these people.
wow this story is so touching and it brought me so much joy! as a 24 year old who was diagnosed with MS 5 years ago, this gave me hope that I can find somebody who will love me unconditionally. it has been a struggle for me but this gave me hope.
I adore Greg’s sense of humor! laughter is the best medicine.
What an awesome couple. You don’t see people married this long anymore. He is teaching us.
Yes.
It would be impossible for me to love them more! Goals.
Hello there👋👋. How are you doing today?hope you had a nice day?GOD BLESS YOU!!!
My brother in-law's parents both had Multiple Sclerosis, fortunately non of their children had it. They have both passed but they managed to take pretty good care of themselves.
Thankfully MS is only about 2% hereditary.
I haven’t cried in awhile watching these videos but this one really hit me hard. Such a beautiful couple, thank you for sharing💕
Oh, I love them so much. Their love is so strong.
I love this so much. I am a nurse and it is so hard to see patients with MS with a poor support system. His spirit and attitude is inspiring!
I had two step sisters that had MS. It’s a horrible disease. They passed in their forties. God bless him and his family
My deepest condolences to your family.
That's a freaking super attitude, ACE, no doubt the people in your life are lucky to have you!!! 👍💪💖🙏🌈
Happened to me after my 3rd brain surgery, it is always a shock. Blessings to you on your healing journey 🙏💖
@@lulumoon6942 wow, same to you.
@@chrissquitieri3628 Thanks, Chris 💪
@@blondesense1708 Hey we relate! My left palm and both of the bottom of my feet went numb. And went blind for like 5 days. Many MRI's and spinal taps. I even had to get Blood apheresis done too. Its a terrible experience. And it sucked! But we just keep fighting! Where did you get treated at?
This interview changed my life, thank you so much
"I try not to take things too seriously, because that would be depressing.
"what?" omg hahaha! It's so wonderful to see that despite everything, these two can still laugh together
For real! I was dying of laughter at that part lmao
"IM STILL STANDING" XDDD
I already like them!
He stole my heart talking about Nancy. This couple are the perfect couple. Perfect love and we can all learn from them. X O
This is a real love story, I'm overwhelmed and crying bc they remind me so much of my grandparents
Bless them both ❤️
Hey guys, i am not the kind of person to put on some comments on youtube but i am a suscriber for a while and I love your testimonial videos. My fiancee was diagnosed with MS 2 years ago and i am at her side loving her so much. This video helped me to gain even more faith that love wins above all. Thank you a lot for this
7:05 to about 7:30 was so funny! I watched that part a few times. His deadpan "What?" was so perfect, and everyone laughing was just icing on the cake.
can you explain the joke for me? I had a hard time understanding it haha
Haha! Greg is hilarious and his wife is a wonderful person. You can tell she loves her husband and he looks at her with love as well.
These interviews are so impactful. Thank you for putting in the effort and sharing these people's stories.
It's like Dodo with humans LOL
Ohhhh myyyyy I absolutely love this couple. What wonderful sence of humour in such a tough situation. They make me so happy and I couldn’t stop laughing “3 out of 47 ain’t bad” 🤣🤣💕
This story was so heartwarming, the two of them clearly love each other so much!!! ❤️ So glad comments are back too!! :)
Hello there👋👋. How are you doing today?hope you had a nice day?GOD BLESS YOU!!!
A beautiful story, loved listening to these people's positivity and strength, pure love and fight. Just love love love it! And bless Rachel, such a warming smile you see the kindness right through it. I'm glad Greg has such people around, and vice versa cos he seems great
I am a speech therapist and I learned so much from you today, thanks for sharing!
In each therapy my goal is to make the people laugh at least once.
You inspire me a lot!
I love their sense of humor. They truly love each other and it shows. I was diagnosed with Tarlov Cyst Disease 3 months after my husband and I were married. It was a very hard first year, but I’m blessed to have a husband who loves me through it all. He never complains about having to help me.
This was a great video! I have multiple sclerosis diagnosed back in 2017 in nursing school. My husband married me after we found out. This disease is crazy and lonely sometimes and it’s so painful some days but I’m blessed just like him to have a spouse who has my back and supports me.
What a lovely couple! Very enjoyable to hear their story, and I wish them many more happy years together.
Jus sending a hello your way and lots of blessing to u as husband and wife😊.
This one hit home for me. My mom has Multiple Sclerosis as well and everyday is a gift truthfully. Sometimes things get really bad but then itll get better again as well!!:)
Its nice to hear this! I'm the mom in the situation and it hurts so much sometimes, I don't want my child to see me weak, but its encouraging to see so many people talk about how its not all bad all the time.
@@AnnaRoemantic I understand the pain from it and all of the worrying that comes along with it as well. But having that allows us to realize to live in the moment and be as happy as you can be:) You've got this and you're so strong!!
Hi everyone: It's so nice to see you all again on RUclips. I want to meet you all one day. Take care and stay safe.
Hey Marleen, I feel the same way, this is the best gang in the whole internet! 😊THANKS, CHRIS!!! 💖💖💖
I don’t do depressing! Yes sir!!
No matter how hard things can be, you can still find joy! Yes ma’am!
Spectacular couple! Thank you for sharing some of your story!
I find new reasons to love this community more and more everyday. Greg and Nancy thank you for being such pure souls this world desperately needs. Thank you for sharing
It's pretty awesome, glad you're here with us!!! 💖
You have a cool name :)
@@WeNeedMorePositivityInTheWorld Thanks, it's fun! 😊
So glad the comments are back so we can show our appreciation and love!
Been watching your videos for years now and never seen someone on your channel with the same condition as me as someone with M.S. this is super uplifting to see. Thank you so much for sharing your videos on your channel Chris and Alyssa.
My father is diagnosed with progressive MS. I hope he can find a caring wife like Nancy.
I loved the part where he teased Chris!! 😂 I had the best time watching them. Their love is so pure and they’re the sweetest. I wish them the best
Such an inspirational story. But also they have a beautiful love story. Thank you for sharing it with us.
My mom has ms. Thankfully, the copaxon shots 3 days a week help to slow the progression. We got lucky and caught it early.
Such a lovely couple, you can feel the devotion and love through all the interview ♥️
Hello there👋👋. How are you doing today?hope you had a nice day?GOD BLESS YOU!!!
Hello there👋👋. How are you doing today?hope you had a nice day?GOD BLESS YOU!!!
There's love enough for everyone on earth. There's a special someone for everyone on earth...if we can just find that someone. Greg and Nancy have found their someones. They have proved it to eachother, and the world, that adversities will come in relationships but gliding through them with a great sense of humor might just be the key to success. You are both a success story❤
loved this interview - this couple. They reminded me of the various couples in the film "When Harry Met Sally." But, Greg and Nancy far surpasses those screen couples! : )
I also have MS (relapse-remitting) and this has been very encouraging. Thank you SBSK
Laughter is the best medicine and the key to a great marriage.
Another beautiful video. Thank you so much for gifting us with your channel.
What a lovely couple!
You all have made my day.💜
Thank you Chris for your work!
My moms brother died of MS in the early 2000s he was only 52 we all miss you and love you Mikey
RIP Mikey, and so glad you remember him fondly, he's still with you then.
Have not even finish the video but these 2 are so amazing and lucky to have each other. God bless the both of u.
What a sweet couple. It looks like they care about each other so much. Looks like they've been through a lot together, and their bond is just even stronger. ❤️
Having ms for almost 6 years diagnosed at 22 this was a very hard but amazing thing to watch. To see love and laughter still possible gives me hope for my future. 🧡
God bless them, they are adorable!
Yet another touchingly real video of ordinary people teaching you that when you have patience and give love it yields the strength to carry on through all hardships. Greg and Nancy, thank you for sharing your beautiful story with us ❤️
7:04 Had me in stitches! 😅😅 These two are so beautiful. ❤️
This video has just become my favourite video in the world and Greg and Nancy my favourite people. So many life and love lessons in less than 20 minutes. Thank you Greg and Nancy for sharing and thank you Chris and SBSK for making it because it really made my day. Here’s to another 47 years together. Greetings from Spain.
