I have been umming and arrring for months on whether to upgrade. The fact that it has the range to still be under the 350fps is just ridiculous. I cannot wait, friend of mine priced everything up for me and will do it for free, came to around £500.

Everything you have said about that gun and the service from Camoraids is true, I have a 416c and it absolutely amazing!
Once you have done the work on it, it becomes more like a fully automatic DMR, all though I manly shoot semi, as the accuracy is just so good.
I’ve have just ordered the same work to be done on a Scar L CQC, there are that good.
As for Camoraids, the service and advice from Marek has been second to none, the enthusiasm when he talks to you about what he can do to these guns, is brilliant. He is a great guy.
You could buy a few different guns that would do things like these guns for the money, going back to the safe zone to figure out which one will be best for the next game, I know I’ve been there and got it wrong so many times! It’s annoying and a waste of time, you sit there thinking I should have had the other one for that situation. 😡
With these that’s no longer a problem, they do everything so, so well.

Great vid mate, and great to feel that love for your Scar....my biggest issue is I’ve never used my TMs from stock I’ve always had them upgraded before I get them.....hard to appreciate them some what this way...
I’m looking at another gun....I’ve got a 416 Dev (Dave C A) and a 417. Both upgraded by Dave then off to KOA for more works. I hear a lot of great reviews about Camo so I’m intrigued to get some Max packages done with these guys...maybe a Scar in my life?

To be fair, that sniper cannot of been upgraded that we'll to be out ranged, unless the wind was heavily against them.
Still a nice gun and is good range for the fps.
I would expect my srs to be giving it a run for its money, still love my next gen through

Starting to fall out of love with my tm recoil, everything for them is just super expensive when compared to a normal aeg. Gate titan is super worth it for any gun. But not £900 of upgrades. Certainly not value for money anyways.
Bry Airsoft Honestly dude I felt the same, but after using a build of this calibre for over a year now I’d say 100% worth it ! It’s performance and reliability is incredible 👌🏻
I suggest you try one before coming to that conclusion. Its 100% worth it TMs are already great the upgrades take it to an insane level. The recoil is awesome and almost the same as a Tippmann HPA with a superbolt with one added bonus it recoils the correct way. Marek and Miguel are also the nicest and most helpful people ive ever met in an airsoft shop. Highly recommended.
I was looking for something just like this! I really want a TM Scar-H but I'd need someone to upgrade it for me. However, I'm in the US, do you know another retailer that would be able to do something like this or if they ship to the US?

What fps is it running now? I have a very similar Devgru build from camoraids and mine can nowhere near outrange good snipers, nevermind with good accuracy
Dave Kirk 345fps - it was about 70m shot. Now I’ve seen heard and busted many myths of airsoft guns shooting stupid distances for me this is tops on AEGs snipers understandably more but on this day and this spot the guy couldn’t get rounds on target and I did. This could be from a ton of factors but sometimes that’s just the way it works. Do you run a RHop ?
@@RandomTrashy Cool, mine shoots about 70metres to but after 50m the accuracy drops significantly, mine was just a purple prometheus as Camo said they didn't do rhops at the moment, I have flat hopped it myself and got slightly better performance,. I think when I heard you say sniper I assumed around 90metres, my mistake. Your Scar looks awesome :)

Great video.. I been looking at getting a tm but was a bit put off from the lower fps .. I heard you say you used yours for a few years befor your upgrade ..

Nope FPS don't really mean shit.It has great range and responsiveness i stacked with it for years without worry
So £600 for the gun, you rip out everything that makes it expensive in the first place,, then add another £900.. Add a few spare mags £150?? A strap £20, 2 batteries £40 and the scope £150?
That's a £1,860 gun.. Minimum.. I think this where the fun stops and the obsession starts ( like Golf) Great video and well presented.. Ps.. have you tried those lucky Airsoft socks yet? 😉

Is it your money? Dont like it move on. Ive just spent £2300 in Camoraids on mk18 plus full upgrade optics etc and I couldnt be more happy. I dont care what people use as long as everyone enjoys themselves. If people have the money to upgrade etc then fair play to them. I enjoy upgrading and searching for parts etc as much as I do playing.

Just had my TM 416D upgraded to a tier 3 with gate mosfet cost 720 not sure it was worth it but I'm happy, now looking for a decent TM sniper rifle. Any recommendations?

Aaron Smedley Did a live stream on this ! Being behind the optic it clears from being in the way of my hands “ rather than at the end of the rifle “ ! Also found it hangs perfectly with this arrangement and allows shoulder transitions to be much more clean again due to the sling adjustment handle being closer to my body .

The one question I have about NGRS owners (I own a MWS) is:
Why spend so much money getting the gun in the first place, and then spending another 1.5x - 2x the guns worth, getting it upgraded with non-TM parts?
Same as getting a TM VSR10 and using only the plástic shell, or buying hicapa and using only the trigger or hammer. Noob move i think... Like gutting TMs for HPA 🤷

At 4:09 mark, I dont understand why polish that part of the gearbox. The area behind the cylinder, where the spring and spring guide are. Any idea why that is polished?
It's because your piston slides back and forth when shooting it makes everything move more smoothly I have the same gun an had the works done by Camoraids so can confirm everything Tim has said is spot on great video 👍

Depends on the amount of use but currently I ask for a quick look over and service every 2 years.

There’s no logic in buying TM (which is already expensive) and the replacing everything what made it expensive in the first place. This build just costs too much for what it achieves. Still it is super cool!
You don’t replace the body, mag catch or mechanics ! They are what you are buying
The majority of the money you are paying is for the body etc. You need to try one before coming to that conclusion.
I understand that upgrade rifs are great but striping that much out of a TM means there's not much TM left in there. TM make sime great replicas but to remove all the TM, what's the point, you might as well start with something else to get the same result without hitting the pocket as hard.
Camo raids know their stuff inside and out and id bet they could get the same results from a non TM replica.

So in actuality £1500 ish For that kind of money you can get a wolverine MTW in almost any spec. If you have not tried one yet, they are on an entirely other level. 70m out of the box drop a better barrel and quality ammo you can push that out to 80 in the right conditions.
Built with a forged receiver full CNC 7075 upper and rail. Fully compatible with milspec rails, buffers buffer tubes grips ect.
To the threshold. Never seen or shot one ! Keen to give one a try !

I was the first customer in the UK to get one having preordered when they announced it, i was confident in them as i already owned a wolverine scorpion evo and several of their drop in kits.Its number 202 so from early in the production run.Since then have made some refinements and further improved them.
Honestly the first RIF i can say i have complete confidence i will never break.
Build quality is outstanding and all the magpul components i added have fit perfectly. Its hard to describe but when i switch between my VFC 417 and MTW it genuinely feels like the difference between a toy and a rifle.
It has all the nice features like functional bolt hold open programmable trigger modes ect but for me the biggest innovation is how the hop unit and HPA engine are fitted.They basically lock together and have no play or movement in them. The effect of this combined with the high quality HPA engine is a massive increase in consistency. Mine has demonstrated under 1fps variance over 100 shots which of course leads to accuracy.All i have done is drop a mapleleaf hybrid system bucking and nub in it and its outshooting my R hopped TM 416.That is something i was not expecting when i bought it.
What really gets people however is their weight.Mine with optic and suppressor mounted is just 2.3 kg. By far the lightest full metal RIF i have handled.As i am sure you know that can really make a difference on a 48 hour event :).

@@thretman5302 Camoraids 100%. Sam at KOA is also very good but has a huge waiting list. Camoraids work is insane and the shop feels like a second home as soon as you walk into it. Great bunch of guys who will not just sell you anything and everything. I wanted the new GHK Glock £380 and would have also ordered one for my dad. Marek said to avoid due to the trigger pull being very hard. He could have just taken my money.
@@TurkishBenAirsoft I went to KOA in the end. Easily the best TM recoil tech in the world atm. From the little I discussed with Miguel and Sam. Sam seemed far far more knowledgeable. A true Wizard of the AEG world lol.

So but late to the party, but what actual advantage would this do to a gun, when compared to something like an LCT?? Their build quality is far superior to TM, and their internals are more available, easy to maintain as an average tech, and require far less work. For £900, i was able to almost fully deck out the gearbox or my RPK with 13:1, maple leaf, gate titan, blah blah blah, all the trimming. And still have money to buy zenitco replica rails, 13 mags, a drum mag, 4 batteries, foregrip, and allowed me to put money towards a real steel PKA red dot. So for about, lets say £930 ish, i got a gun with far superior external quality. Probably the same performance at 1.09 joules roughly on a .28, and a butt tone of extras. I have a TM recoil. They’re good. And not bashing your build. I’ve seen them in the wild, and they perform. But for the price, you could take a CYMA, and make it just as good. In fact probably better. Seems silly to recommend a stupidly expensive TM build, over something else that i could save myself a few hundred quid on, just for the sake of weak blowback. Doesn’t make much sense to me. But please share your view

Seems rather misleading to recommend such an expensive upgrade package, when people can literally do the same for less. TMs are good. Not bashing it. "Your not going to go to them to get your G&G fixed"... G&G make some great guns, especially with their latest innovations such as their G2 gearbox. Some of their guns easily give TM a run for their money. Comments like yours make people think its TM or nothing (even though they go and swap out all the internals to the point where its questionably still a TM). In truth, you clearly have a bias and a misguided one at that. Unfortunately, there is a snobbish side to airsoft and even if it was just a passing comment, your contributing to that.
Top of the line G&G's.. G2 gearbox. mosfet.. proper quick change spring. great programable trigger.. 11.1 lipo and 20 rps.. you get non of that with a TM and pay more.. TM need to up their game or... we can up it for them with £900 of our money..

One of the best investments I have ever made was sending my scar H tm to Camoraids for its dmr super build. You're 100% right when you say that the response is on point! Peak a corner see a target squeeze the trigger and targets hand is up high. I have my gate set to a 1 second trigger lock and to be honest I though it would bug me but in actual fact its proved to be more helpful. Plus when you add a vortex optic on top and have it zeroed in correctly I feel it becomes alot more. Cracking review and always haters are gonna hate but keep dropping them truth bombs like your Trump in Iran 🤙🏻

Do not upgrade your guns, get a stock marui ... . Do not open the gearbox, u will lose the marui spell :))) Now u discover that an upgraded gun worth the money ?!? For £ 800 extra for upgrade you better get an HPA system .... way better than any kind of AEG's on the market. Maybe u will findout in few months ! :))) I own few AEG's , all are custom made (by me) , even if I'm aware that an HPA is better ... I'm using AEG's due to my tech hobby

The Heresy Group it’s just screws, there are no torque values, tolerances are just massive, from an engineering perspective it’s pish... it’s not like building an engine.
I mean fair play if people can get away with charging huge sums for easy work, I guess that’s just the way the world works.

Except you cant buy AR15s in the uk and you tend to run out of friends quickly shooting them in woodland with AR15s and also the jail terms are pretty high.
