Thank you so much for this! Just got the game and I like the class I'm playing and all but I'm almost level 50. I was thinking that I messed up because there's a few classes I want to try so It's good to know about the tiers. That souleater class is calling my name too haha.
Notes on Training Grounds:
1: You can try out every skill for that class, you just keep adding points and the game will show you're in a "skill point deficit" but you can still save and practice.
2: Not sure if you mentioned, you have to get the Trixion song for each character which takes 30ish levels 5-7 hours. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
I appreciate this vid as I wanted to get 3 characters to 50 without failing like I wasted time. Deathblade is my main until I can get class engravings for Deadeye Pistoleer, and a Sorceress, because she's just good at content in general for farming.
Question.
I have my first char lvl50 completed all purple quests and blue quests... but some yellow chain quests I did not completed.
Got my first powerpass and created a new char lvl50...
My question now is, this second char I want to use it as my main, but there is no quests to be done like the ones I said earlier (yellow chain quests) is it OK ? The game completed it for me? Because these quests usually rewards you with potion +5 str, dex, int, hp... or I have to go back on my first char and finish all those quests?
Can someone please help me?

I think you have to go to rohendel (west side of the map) to get new quests. All the stat or skill potions are for your roster. So every characters gets the stats.
Go to rohendel. Reach item level 460 on second character
I have a 1080 shadow hunter, did a lot of islands, claimed a lot of stuff from the welcome challenge as well. I recently made a zerker and like it a lot better than shadowhunter. Should i just stop progression on the assassin and just play the berzerker? Does all the stuff i did on my assassin carry over, like island progression and stuff?
I just hit ilvl 600 on my main sorceress. I want to turn my 460 daathblade into main. What are the steps I should do precisely? Do I go to Yorn with my sorc or firstly get my alt to ilvl600 and whats the fastest way to do it

For get the robot u have to do a quest from elysa iirc (forgot the name) wich it give u 20k silver for reward just complete it and u will unlock that robot for get the knowledge transfer ( i was so confused couse it didnt appear on my SH)
And for change mains u need to go to character selection and in the left its a bottom what says Main Character, click there and u will be able to select the character u most playing for be ur main

Just switch, if you're just 460 you can get there easily again.

Honestly 600 is the point of no return.
@@StalwartSpaghetti nah, Tier 2 is the decision point. As you can start stacking tier 2 shards for the new main while grinding tier 1 on alts.
@SKROOMEK nah i switched, ilvl 460 isnt much, also havent had done my islands yet so i catched up to my main pretty fast

That'd make no sense at all.. since all classes are so unique in appearance and style it would be a completely new character if you swap from a beserker to a gunslinger.. 100% that'll never happen.
but your roster quests are still bound to your first main right? atleast thats what i seen so basicly you always stay with your first?
Hello, I'm currently 983 on deadeye, but i actually wanted to switch to gunslinger as i found her playlist with the rifle more fun. What do you think I should do in this case? Since i've done most of the islands for the deadeye (t1 and t2, not all probably, but the bigger ones for sure)? I feel that islands were the biggest way of me gearing up, I was blazing through the ilvls with them on deadeye, now without them for gunslinger seems its gonna take a looot of time, can only now get through daily stuff which is also limited daily, especially the harmony shards.
Aren't island quest roster.
@@Okami88 Yes, that's what I'm saying, that is not an option for my new main, and it was a big part of me getting to 1000 on the deadeye in a very short time. Now I feel like i can only get like 1-2 gear upgrades per day on the new main, so its hard to catch up.
@João done the tower once? Alts running tower get upgrade material's. Hm
@@Okami88 Yes, that's the second biggest, still very limited daily to how much i can achieve on the new main.
Because the problem is harmony shards mostly, rest of materials that tower gives more actually i have in abundance.

Don't we have to level up to basically level 28 before we can get alts to Trixion to try them in the training grounds?
Yep that or you can try the class preview at lvl 1 when you make a character. It's not very good though, but does give a glimpse at what the class plays like.
Another option is to just burn your Power Pass to boost a new character to 50. You get 2 of these and even when you run out, you can just use the Knowledge Transfer at your Stronghold. Costs 600 gold and completes everything up until Vern and can skip more if you want to pay more.
How can I get engravings for my new main?
General engravings work for all your characters, you don't have to get the books again, about the 2 class specific engravings you will have to find the books or buy them eg: you can read berserker engravings with your bard and when you make a berzerker he will be able to use them and the upgraded level

i didnt like my first character. so i deleted it and made a new one but there was this chest that gave u a horse but i dont think i can get that anymore because i deleted my first chapter. is there a way to get that chest back again?
every character gets a free horse at the start but if it was some special founders pack horse and still in the chest then its gone forever. but if you opened it then its still saved in the roster.
I have one character at Ilvl 516 should I just continue and get to Ilvl 600 or just transfer my mats to my alt that I want to be my main and just continue grinding my alt?

hi, how do u transfer main quests to newly promoted main? I switched my main from gunlancer to berserker, but the main story quest remains with gunlance and berserker has no no main quest to continue the game. The main quest in berserk is grayed out. only daily and chaos are available. please advice

When you powerpass alts they're already done the main quest from frok lvl 1 to 50. Basically u will start on rohendel.

What happens to quests for the alt? secondary questlines that give interesting rewards, do they get completed automatically but with no rewards?

@@moistprune9994 oh no, roster is what called in other games "families", in this game whenever you see bound to roster it means all your characters not only one

I'm at level 30 on deathblade and I'm finding it too squishy. Should I hit 50 first then switch or switch now and repeat content?
getting to lv 30 is very easy. so i would say change your character and you can lv your deathblade to 50 at some time to have an alt maybe.
I still have one question left. So if I switch my main character, is there any way to play the story with the new main? Cuz when I switch my main character I don't have the main story quest anymore
you skip all of the main story until vern i believe you do all the story mission after that still

Yes that's no problem, level your stronghold too so you have access to gold boosting as well. Save your engraving, shards, and stone rewards for your main and you'll be fine. Having max level alts is great.
I started playing shadowhunter and thought it would be my main but realized the gameplay is very repetitive and gunslinger is more fun, the thing is i did a lot (and i mean a lot) of quests and islands on my shadowhunter. I thought i f*ed up, thanks for the video

@@mutocello I think at item level 800 you get access to research at the stronghold and increases the success rate when honing and also decreases the amount of material you need for t1, making t1 gear very easy to hone.
You don't, as far as i know you'll have to get them for dailies/chaos/guardian etc. Because the island quests are mostly purple meaning roster bound.

I am not going to rush a game that has been out for years in another market. I don't need to be the Wtfpwnomg #1 on the server.
Plus the classes I really want to play are not even out yet.
have a 576ilvl deathblade with bound t2 materials: 470 leapstones, 4060 weapon fragmens, 8810 armour fragments & 103000 lifefragments all bound to her... wanna switch so bad to sharpshooter but i feel like these t2 materials that are bound to my deathblade is worth playing like 2weeks with my sharpshooter since i cant trade it to him. these materials all comes from t2 islands...
I still dont understand most of the game mechanics as i just hit 50 on my Deathblade :D But im in similar boat - i want to main a Sharpshooter, i just dont "feel" the Deathblade class, too much reliance on back attacks and many charged skill. I didnt open any engravings boxes, didnt do any islands etc, hell, i just unlocked dailies/weeklies :) So nothing of importance bound to my fresh 50 Deathblade char. What would you do in this case? Am i right in thinking about finishing all roster(chain) quests on the blade, and then powerpass my Sharpshooter to 50, and do islands etc with my Sharpshooter yes?
@@jimbe4mxl410 If you just hit 50 you can go ahead and switch by using Power Pass on your new character. Then just farm T1 chaos/guardian raids on your Deathblade and send them to your main.
@@jimbe4mxl410 yeah just play until you get the powerpass to boost your sharpshooter and then do islands with him cause you get a fuck ton of upgrade materials from them and even more engravings. You shouldnt have any problems switching, im jealous 😄

@@jimbe4mxl410 its not like im not having fun with her, still continuing to play her now as my main, just liked sharpshooter more in general but didnt know that before i boosted one :D kinda too late for me to swtch, but i would say being range (sharpshooter) in raids or abyss dungeons is more chill then being melee yeah
It's just annoying to go from one class to another. Like my bard has 100k+ life shards and 10k of each tier 2 mat all bound and unable to transfer to a better class. That's like weeks of gametime added
thats my exact problem right now, wanna change my main so bad from deathblade to sharpshooter. but i have so much t2 fragments and springstones bound to my deathblade that it makes the choice to switch so hard... its annoying!

I believe that is the purpose of the knowledge transfers, Other than getting another level 50 you can complete Rohendal at 460 ilvl and yorn at 600 ilvl for some gold
@@dyan5809 i just find out the answer you need to lvl up gear until 460 in your alt character and then see quest journal there will be 1 quest the name is Guides:Rohendel
Thankyou for this, I levelled to 50 boosted 2 chars progressed on one then knowledge transferred to another class now im 540 ilvl on that which is now my main (I have a 302 460 540 302) I got stuck trying to get to tier 2 but you changed my perspective to stick with what i am doing but be smarter with it otherwise i would of rerolled to another server

Shadowhunter is fun. Almost as fun as the Artillerist which is my main.
im doing it the othere way around lol my main is a hunter but i wont to play berserkeer so bad i felt like it was to late becuse i dont have anymore side quest with my boosted berserkeer
how can I earn gold? Is selling dungeon loot in the market the only way? Or is there an alternative way?
the only thing i'm worried about is do I have to re-do all the island quest and re-farm my skill points.
No, all of that is roster wide
you dont have to do those again, you can only do it on one character and skill points you gained carry over to other chars.

I don't understand the "tiers"? Are you talking about gear rarity? Or is that a different leveling system that gets unlocked after reaching level 50?

Tiers is linked to ilvl, for example, tier 1 is up to 600 ilvl, tier 2 is 802 ilvl and tier 3 is 1000+, i don't know what's the maximum ilvl.
@@TheWARSHH do you unlock more content in higher tiers? Or do you just get more stats for pvp and dungeons and stuff?
@@cubemage3336 Both are linked, you get more content by getting more ilvl, i'm at 566 atm and i need 600 to unlock Yorn. So you unlock more content with higher ilvl, as for PVP they made a really good choice, when you reach level 26 you'll have a quick quest for the proving ground which is the PVP name and then you have everything unlocked, you just have to chose the spells upgrade them because you have all the points and add the points for the stats and just go in !
I'm really glad they did that cus if it was about the PVE stuff i would be doomed =(

@@cubemage3336 Well yes and no, there's rank in normal PVP until we get ranked. It's Grade 10 to 1, then Tier 1 so T1 is the highest but yeah just go in and check some guide on what to do like maxroll to know what to do !

Just got to Lvl 50 with my shadow hunter I have a sorceress at lvl 25 on a diff server that I like playing but I switched by my server bugged for 2 days and I couldn’t do anything. I might use a power up to create a new sorceress on my new server and main her. The shadow hunter is cool but idk if it’s what I love playing so many decisions.
So still need to grind shards for alts even with KT? Damn there goes my plans to swap -.-
Here's the thing though, for your alts to be useful they have to be able to provide relevant mats for your gear score.
So they have to catch up eventually. Tough to get by with just one character.

@Caruso Merido you realise you get 2 free passes and for 600 gold you can knowledge transfer? So you can have 3 alts at 50 for free almost, minus 600 gold which is nothing.

Only you can answer that question man. Pick what resonates with you most the balance in this patch is nice
Deathblade - if you wanna melee dps
Sharpshooter - if you wanna do a mixed range dps
Paladin - if you wanna be a support
All of the listed classes play vastly different. I'd look up some gameplay and try them out before using the pass
So if I like one of my alts more, I can technically make them my “main”, and my original main can technically be an alt? 🤔🤷🏻♂️ for reassurance hahaha
That's pretty much it, progress u make is server wide, don't worry about doing stuff all over again
