Great video mate, thanks for doing this with the xbox content and answering my previous questions. Definitely helped me make my purchase choice, and am going to go with the 32gp850 now to pair with my series x and pc. Keep up the hard work and I'll be sticking round for future content. Cheers
Ciao! 😅😢
Hey man great video. Could you recommend me some settings for this monitor for the Xbox series X. I’m liking it but feel like it’s not optimised and need some help haha. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Monitor currently is the Aorus FV43U and TV the Neo Qled QN90A. But for daily usage once I get me room together will be the LG 27GP950. Until the new G7 arrives then it will be between both. But I may have to revert to a 1440p monitor for I will try live streaming soon as I will try to stream at 1440p60hz.
Thanks for the review I got a same monitor and planning buy xbox series x. Wonder how do you using external speaker with the monitor? you just connect xbox and monitor using hdmi and connect monitor and external speaker using headphone port in monitor? or other way?
I use a creative soundbar usually. Thru the 3.5mm audio out. Now you can thru a hdmi optical/ sound splutter do the same if you need or want an optical out to your specific soundbar. Make sure you xbox is set to hdmi sound for the monitor to recieve sound then use the audio out 3.5mm to whatever you connect it to. That's how I do it currently.
Thanks for the great video, I think I’ll be buying de lg32gp850 because for some reason it’s cheaper than the 27 inch and because they are not selling the 27gp950 where I’m from, or do you think I should wait for te 950? It’s for playing on Xbox
The 27" version of the GP850 is more crisp and a small bit brighter but the 32" does look nice if that's what you need. I love 32" monitors. But the 27GP950 would give you super crisp picture due to res. and size. Tough desicion but if you want a quick pick up and play monitor with wide viewing at a great price like you said the LG 32GP850 is good. You can't lose with whatever you decide.
Nice Vid as Usual Vik...btw i have a question about G7 So so far My G7 didnt have any major problem..just have some small screen tearing and also it doesnt have the vrr in setting ...should i update the new software for the monitor or should i just leave it like that...thanks Vik
I have the LG27GP950 and I want to know what is the best setting for HDR for Xbox series X. Because i use the preset vivid and i put the brightness at 100 and i find the colour to be pale.
Try enabling pcrgb. Also try gamer1. Contrast can go as high as 70 to 80 just look at some clouds make sure youbcan see the definition of the clouds for contrast calibration. 100 brightness.
Hey Viktor, great video as always. I am using the dell s2721dgf for both Xbox Series X and PS5; I’m using that edid emulator you recommended to get the 4K signal for PS5 only, thanks so much it saved me a lot of $! Do you recommend a 4K monitor over the s2721dgf for BOTH next gen consoles or should I keep my setup as is for now until PS5 supports 1440p? What about the new VA panels from dell, s2722dgm and the 32” VA? Thanks!
Hey... I hope you are staying safe. :) the S3222DGM is a lower end but small bit faster than the S3220DGF. No need to upgrade at all. But the new Asus PG32UQ looks amazing and seems to maybe be the best at 32" 4k120hz right now. I will get in November once the channel grows a bit during the holiday rush. I would say wait until a 32" 4k120hz for a true upgrade to what you have as yours is still above many right now in quality.
It is noticeable. I mean I have 4k Monitors and the jump to 32" at 1440p is really noticeable at the same Viewing distance. If you have a deep desk say at least 23" (my ikea desk is like this) then you should be fine. Anything under that a 27" would be better at 1440p. It's really about eye distance to monitor. Seriously. I like 32" but if I edit it needs to be 27" since I like the clarity at the same distance.
Yup. Still have all monitors shown on on the channel. Once I get my new room set up I will Showcase everyone again frequently. Any issues on on old G7?
Your videos are amazing. I want to buy a 32GP850 or Samsung G7. The use of the monitor will be: 60% Games (XSX) 40% Watch football, NBA, movies... (with HDMI device) I think LG is better option because is IPS. ¿What do you think? My budget is 500-550€.
@@DisplayReality i am worried about view angles in G7. ¿It's a big problem? The contrast and the blacks are better in G7, but IPS has a fantastic view angles. I don't know if this can be a problem. Benq EW3280U (not 3270U) is other option. ¿What do you think?
@@borjaalvarez3225 the BenQ you said would win in everything... its more expensive. Native 4K and the Speakers are great.. the speakers especially. But again it's more expensive. The response time the same more or less

@@joshthedrummerhaynes6870 friend this info is for this specific 1440p monitor. That video is for hdmi 2.1 monitors. That has nothing to do with this video or type of monitor. 10 bit is not supported, right?

I have the LG 27GP850 B on my XBox Series X. This monitor is only a QHD monitor but he can also 4k with 60hz, why?
The edid accepts it. It can accept a 4k signal and display all the information in it (but only at 1440p).
How do you think Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (PS5) would look on the Samsung QN90A? I'm curious
I don't have that game but I can run some trailers of it or if you give me some time I'll see if I can pick it up.

Can you activate 1440p + 120hz + hdr + freesync on xbox series x simultaneously?
The hdr on this device is not good at all but other than that yes these all should work at the same time
Hi viktor does 4K 60 look good on this monitor meaning a lot better than 1440p on this monitor is there a big difference in image quality thanks
I think it looks really clear. 27" would be even more crisp. On PS5 this is a must but on Xbox since it naturally scales its close.

Did this monitor support the VRR on PS5 & XBOX ?
It does on Xbox Series X but not on PS5 due to the fact the monitor is Hdmi 2.0 which freesync vrr supports.
This monitor or LG C1 oled for fps gaming
LG C1!! That will bring your fps to another level... unless you want a 42" c2 for a pc monitor.. that would be great!
