For most reversing cameras you get the power from the reversing light and the head unit should detect once you go into reverse. i assume that won't happen with the wireless unit. and the camera will be on all the time?
I need help with my wireless camera.I hook mine up the same way. The led lights on the camera is on when i put my truck in reverse and the red led on the receiver is on and the blue led on the transmitter is on but still not displaying on my radio head unit screen.
Dear, how do I connect the part that receives the signal in an Android radio? The device has two thin wires, red and black. I understand that the red wire goes to the reverse wire, but I don't know where to connect the black one. I hope this is clear.
It works with monitor but not with stereo as car stereo need signal wire from reverse gear connecting to power of receiver and to head unit reverse cable, so happy searching with reverse wire under dash
Hi Hacktuber, do the wireless sender and receiver determine which video codec is being used? In other words: if I connect two different cameras (once at a time of course) to the sender which use different video codecs, will I get at the receiver end two different video codecs? @@Hacktuber Today I could access the factory settings section of my android 12 head unit (firmware: 8227l_demo) and change the Backcar Source settings switching from AHD to CVBS. This helped the head unit to properly decode the signal. The image is now coming across perfectly. I suppose this Wireless Video Transmitter would let an AHD camera signal across as well. The wireless connection is established fast and currently doesnt look like suffering any interference from other devices.
@@Hacktuber how much voltage readings will I get on the video power wire ie the inner ring of the RCA cable? And is the outer ring constantly connected to ground? Or it is carrying some video signals too?

@@Hacktuber transmitter is behind my screen radio. Actually is the side of the panel and my receiver is kind of where my rear bumper is but underneath.

Nope, because you will use + from reversing light. So when u shift to reverse, camera will turn on.

How long is the distance between them? And make sure not to be placed in hidden places,more obsticles low range
