I've had the Titleist 906F2 18* for.... many years as the last headcover before my longest iron. It's just that good, oldest club in my bag by far. Haven't found a replacement for it, until recently. Got a free fitting so I checked out the GT2 in 18* and it's been the first 4 wood/5 wood that does everything better and more consistently. Higher peak, easier to launch with a predictable flight, more spin to help stop it with similar carry numbers. One of the most difficult transitions is from woods to irons. Well done Titleist. Thanks Michael, great content as always!
Glad I read this...I love having a 5 wood in the bag and I'm hunting for one of these with the HZRDUS 70 stiff. I have a 10 degree GT2 driver and the GT2 3 wood.
Picked up a GT2 today with Mitsubishi Tensei Black 75 S shaft from the local range today from the demo bin. Got it for $250 Aussie as I had $90 credit. Absolute steal
I would love to see a test with AI Smoke / Ping 430 / Titleist GT in both drivers and three woods. I know its tough to do when Titleist releases their clubs at the end of the season instead of the beginning of the year but it would be a great review. When it comes to drivers I have found that with both your channel Michael and others out there that the 2021 models in Callaway and TM were out performing the current models not by a lot but enough to make me question why buy a new driver if my old one does just as well. Great work as always and thanks again for all your content.
Nice comarsion vid. Would like to see TSR3 vs GT3 . I was custom fit for TSR3 3 wood last Sept and its by far the best especially off the tee, sounding/feeling fairway wood ive ever played. I have a TSR3 5 wood also.
Swung my GT2 3 wood for the first time today. HZRDUS stiff 70 gram. Consistent 255 to 260 carry with it...club has great feel and the sound is perfect. Have the GT2 driver...same HZRDUS stiff shadt except 60 gram.
I tested the GT3 and was surprised it spun quite a lot compared to more "pro" style head. I feel like it's probably a great head if you aren't a high spin player.
I'm looking for a high spinnie 5 wood to replace my 2 hybrid. I'm swinging it between 100 and 105 mph(driver). You think GT3 is a better option than GT2 for what I'm looking for?
Just a question for you before I go in and get fit over the winter. Any preference or recommendation I need just one FWY wood for a bit more distance on long approaches (200y with my gamer) Is it a better option to get a 5w with 3 wood length shaft for some added boom or maybe shorten the 16.5 shaft for control

would love to see the GT2 13.5 degree review off the tee and the ground vs 15 degree
Just got GT2 5 and 7 wood, amazing clubs😍
5W incoming. Can’t wait !

GT 2 for me, wouldn’t be able to find where I miss hit most from 😊

Have you considered comparing this with the ping g430
GT2 at 13.5 degrees - got more forgiveness yet the same distance if not further being 1.5 degrees stronger loft

@@erikk4555 Test them both out, GT2 should still spin more than GT3.

How does the GT2 compare to the TSR2?
I have GT2 ordered at 13.5 to use off the tee.
still looking for a 7 wood with a smaller, flatter profile like the GT3 but 21 degree only available in GT2 😒
Callaway ai smoke TD 7w?
Ping g430 is smaller and flatter, 21 degree. It's also the best wood on the market.
Want a 12.5 degree gt3 ... or 13. Watta shame
At £349 they better be good!
no glove is nuts
That foreign accent...
