The TSR family of woods is excellent, as is the TSI line. Golf OEMs are pricing these models to cascade into pre-owned, and capture maximum dollars for the people who A) Have to have the latest and greatest, and/or B) get fit for what performs best and are less cost conscious.
If you're a gearhead and don't want to pay $649...hit a B/S/T forum or used rack and enjoy your $300 TSR2 that goes 2 yards shorter on a robot over 1000 swings.

I find these comments ridiculous, if someone wants to pay they will if no one buys, they will have to reduce the price. Personally, i have never paid list price for any golf clubs, just got fitted for some P790 irons, had a medial condition so needed some help, in the UK these listed at £1399, I paid £850 for 6-GW with upgraded shafts. I felt that was fair, i got £500 for my Mizuno Pro221 5-PW, so £350 for new irons having used the old ones for 3 years seemed fair

Question… so I golf pretty much everyday (I live across the street from a muni course) so I’m either shooting 9 holes or at minimum going to the practice chipping/short game area (100 yards and in)..
I’ve been super confident with almost all my clubs besides 3 and 4 irons so I just don’t use them atm. I’ve been pretty happy with everything, I know I’m not a pro so I don’t expect crazy results but this past few days I feel like I lost my swing, as if I’m forgetting something and I can’t hit the ball for the life of me.. rarely will I get a shot that feels like clean contact..
Should I take a couple days away and reset from golfing or what could it be? I can hit driver and 3 wood alright, but my iron and wedge games completely took a face dive. Either hosel rockets/shanks/topping it or no divots high flyers is what I’m getting. Before this past week I can say atleast 65-75 percent of my shots I feel great about, clean contact, nice divots, consistent yardages.. and the bad hits were still better then what I’m getting now it’s driving me absolutely insane

If you want to lower your scores work on your short game!!! You can’t win by longer drives!!! 75% of practice needs to be 50 yards and in… all the tech in the world won’t make you better!

Maybe a nice driver, but other reviewers are finding virtually no difference between this and the TSR series it’s splitting hairs. The price is absolutely insanity, it’s great to promote a new product but when the vast majority can’t afford it as in Canada with taxes, it’s almost $1000, they have jacked up $100 over the last years TSR model that is nothing but greed and stupidity. I hope people leave these drivers sitting on the rack.
