She just gives boring answers. Journalist gives her the biggest softball question. 'Is there anything special you do when you win the title?' "No, there isn't time to celebrate. I go home. 2 years ago, I dont know" Seriously, you have nothing interesting to say about how you enjoy winning the title. You've won this 3 times. Nothing. I don't get this at all. No personality or enjoyment. Just seems awkard about everything. I agree that the journalists questions aren't great but even basic questions she delivers with no insight. Its not like if they asked her something deep she'd have anything interesting to say.
@@acloudworld7625 Did you want her to make something up? You simplified her answer. She just explained that she doesn't have a routine to celebrate her wins and wants to rest after a long tournament, what's wrong with that answer?
Iga getting more power and good angle for her shots that how she won this season corner to corner. Well done if grass court lets see many more challenges for her.
You can see why rybakina got frustrated the other day some of those questions ? Iga’s prowess on clay is down to her exceptional movement and the spin she puts on the ball. , she’s an exceptional mover the best on the tour , I don’t think anyone is getting anywhere near 14 but I believe she will exceed Chris evert’s 7. She still has to win this one though and she needs to win more slams outside of Roland Garros she has that us open but outside of that hasn’t done much , same with the Australian open which is surprising given how good she can be on the surface, I have the feeling that she will always have her struggles on grass I hope I’m wrong on that one though she’s a joy to watch in full flow.
Lol totally agree. For some reason, I am not a big fan of that particular journalist. He asks basic questions in a complicated way and even answers it for them while he asks it 😂
Iga przegrała 4 gema w 2 secie po tej całej awanturze Coco vs sędzina, i nie może Coco narzekać czy mieć jakieś pretensje. W sumie to nawet dobrze się stało że tego gema wygrała Coco.
"What are your thoughts on video replay?" "I dont know how it would work". Great answer Iga, you are the champions of boring and pointless answers in interviews. She'll win on Saturday and deliver another awful victory speech.
yeah also that. never understood why she had that many people in her box as "coach". she could fire most of them and get a psychological trainer like Swiatek, a psy would have helped preparing this match considering how she lost alone
Crazy to think Naomi had a match point against her in R1 or R2?? Id love to have seen what Naomi could have done in other side of draw! She might have made Final! They should hafd seeded Naomi better, shes returning but she's won 4x Slams! She should have been in other side of draw! 😢
I would like Iga to win, but don't underestimate her opponent. I'm also rooting for Jasmine, she's on a roll and plays great. That's sport, anything can happen.
Serena wasnt on her best surface on clay but she still won it 3 times which is amazing. Lets see if Iga can win 7 wimbledon and 7 australian opn and 6 us open titles like Serena did. Thats a tall order because Iga struggles on grass and not made it to finals in both wimbledon or surprisingly the aussie open. Serena wasnt the traditional clay court specialist but her talent and skills allowed her to win the French Open.
@@mightymikec7 Serena's tennis was strong, she introduced men's tennis to women's tennis. She has a different body type. A woman can never beat a man and Serena's build and strength were more masculine than feminine. What tennis players looked like before Serena and what they must look like now to win. Such changes in tennis occurred because of Serena.
@@yxyz9462I object to this typical description of Serena’s body as “masculine.” First of all, it was Martina Navratilova that changed women’s tennis with regards to fitness and strength, etc. Serena (and Venus) took it to another level. Secondly, Serena’s body is incredibly feminine. She actually has breasts and a butt, which most women have, especially Black women. Yes she was more developed muscularly than most of the other women she played, but that’s simply because of hard work. She worked hard to achieve that body. She’s an athlete. Her body should be strong. Serena’s body is no different than women track athletes, or gymnasts, etc. She had a PERFECT athletic body. Just go back and look at her in 2002. Amazingly beautiful, and athletic and FEMININE.
I was surprised at Swiatek comments about she was going to comeback! That sounds so arrogant! I can understand Swiatek thinking this but to say it in a press conference doesn’t sound very nice for other players to hear Swiatek say it doesn’t sound very nice to be her opponent!
Iga is cheating since basically always and nobody is calling her out so why would she stop disrupting opp service timing ? This match it got even worst the ref literally prevented gauff from serving for about 10 sec with time runnig, guess the outcome ? double fault lol. Disrupting opp service timing is a work of art for swiatek. at the beginning of her career she was taking time violation, but since she wone few titles its radio silence. That point the umpire stole from gauff would never happend if it was the opposit, its the advantage of winning big titles and being world n1.
Iga is very good and very solid in all phases but not spectatular. The women's field is weak right now not comparable to times of the Williams sisters, Sharapova, Hingis, Henin
When the world n3 soon to be world number 2, loose in 2 at a SF of a GS vs a player who didnt even try except for a few shots here and there, that says a lot. Swiatek was terrible on that match specially on her serve. she was very lucky to face gauff and nobody else lol
If Barty still played tennis and Osaka didnt have that break of hers.. maybe Iga wouldn't have dominate as much. But of course is not her fauIt that those things happened for other players 😆
