Love it , but then I’m a Omega fanboy! But think you did a fantastic appraisal of it much better than the other you tubers but then again you have been doing it longer than all of them. Would be tempted though with the four speedys for the same price!
Production will be about 1200-1400 per year, 4 dedicated master Watchmakers are producing the movements. Only 300-400 per year coming to US and only to one of the 30 US boutiques. You will not be able to buy from an AD. Curious as to what the box and package will be. Any guesses?
I'd take the ed white over the old pateks you showed on screen anyday. This is clearly the superior and more discreet piece for the emotionally secure individual. It flies under the radar, but you know you got hell of a watch on your wrist. This is not a watch for posers and the insecure. This is a watch for those who know. There will be more demand then for Rolex atm. I walked by a few AD in Manila the pst few weeks and not one time I saw customers inside. The Gold pieces collecting dust, I would not even consider buying a two tone for anything over 50% discount
Cal. 321/321 B are based on the Lemania 2310, same as the Vacheron 1141 (in the Traditionnelle Chronograph) and the Patek CH 27-70 (in the 5070). Yes, ‘cheaper’ to own the movement in a $14 k Omega but I think it’s far too much (especially without any decoration).
This review is all over the place! To compare a PP 5196 to a Speedmaster chronograph is totally ridiculous! and he has his own channel on watches?! You are more interested in brands than the watch on it's own merit.The PP that you mentioned which i also have is a time only watch with no complications. How much is a PP chrono? VC only uses this same Lemania movement in their high end Perpetual chrono and not in the Overseas. The appropriate comparison would be the nautilus 5990 or 5980 as both are steel chronographs on a bracelet even though they are both automatic. The 321 movement is the famed lemania movement that was used in the highly coveted and now discontinued PP 5970 & 5070. Its also found in the high end Breguet manual chronograhs which retails for significantly more. I have the steel Daytonas and the steel nautilus and is would definately buy the Speedmaster 321. You cannot find this famed Lemania movement in any steel watches now and probably never will
Who cares . . . So sick of all this talk about movements. Humans were from making watches (clocks) 200 years ago that could do 3 seconds a day. You can buy a cheap watch like an Orient automatic and it will do four or five seconds a day out of the box most of the time. And, with most of the tool watches out there you can never see the movement so who cares. This watch hobby is ridiculous and I hate myself for loving all this crap ...lol. That said, it is a nice piece but way overpriced. Plus I'm kind of bored of the Omega brand although I think that they probably make the best watches in the world for the $5,000 mark or so in most cases. They are similar in a way to Porsche in that they might not be the sexiest in some ways vs Ferrari/ Lambo etc but Porsche are pretty much the best in many other ways. Solid.

Detail Archie?? Crystal type? Why these hands? Movement difference from original 321? Predictably Omega sells out those who bought the platinum 321, recouping the 321 retooling. The vintage 321 is robust not at all like a vintage car.
Way to much money I got a Invicta pro diver for Xmas from Grand Kids makes me smile every time I look at it also very accurate does it tell matter what brand love my grand kids !!

I would take the Omega watch over a Rolex Daytona. The watch will take sales from the Rolex Daytona. Rolex are becoming the watch that the rich newbie buys and it turns off a lot of people that love watches that they wear and not collect.
