As an avid user of Huami-made Xiaomi Smart Band 5 looking for an upgrade to a smart watch, I recently bought the Amazfit Bip 3 Pro instead of the Redmi Watch 2 Lite as I like them more than Xiaomi's own smart watches that's now being made in-house.
@@FitnessWithFrost same long battery life even when using workout modes, large display and very slick user interface that feels like a premium smartwatch with actual OS despite its running on RTOS based than the Redmi Watch 2 Lite.
Thanks for the Video! I think 2 important things to highlight are missing. I used the bip u pro for pool swimming and it seems to be missing on the bip 3 pro! I do not know why, but as they have outdoor swimming available, they could also enable the pool swimming. Next thing: The Pomodori tracker is available on the bip u pro, not on the bip 3 pro. It is a simple app and it does not make sense for me to take it out... but definitely something I liked to have.
The Bip 3 Pro that I tested despite having the options: Stroke rate/Rhythm diagram. The stroke sensors didn't seem to work. It barely tracked my heart rate and calories underwater. With the exception of the GPS and time data, it did not record any other swimming data. Does this work for you?
Great info delivered with great gusto. My new Bip 3 Pro is supposed to arrive tomorrow and I'm really pysched. It still blows me away that I'm getting this kind of a smart watch for less than $70 (I actually paid $13.60 after discounts, card credits and free shipping).
@@GingerHater1231 My remarks were perhaps a bit mis-leading. I bought this on Amazon. The thing is I have an Amazon CC and had $46.00 worth of points, there was a $10. discount being offered and I took the 5 day free shipping deal. All that ended up costing me the $13.60 out of pocket that I spent in the end. I am enjoying the watch though and it is performing as promised.

I got both recently and based on my preliminary use I can't really tell the two apart based on performance, as opposed to appearance and functionality. Both are nearly identical in features and workout measurements. I even ran with both on a short run and they nearly matched each other for numbers. I'm going to return one and am leaning towards keeping the Bip 3 Pro because its display is slightly bigger, it's newer, and most of all it uses more GPS systems so in theory it should be more accurate, but I've not noticed any issues regarding this with the Bip U Pro. Well, except for today, when I had to go inside a store for 10-15 minutes midway through my run and it kept losing the GPS signal and switching from running to paused. Not sure if the Bip 3 Pro would have done that too but I'll test it soon. Of course the smart thing to do would be to manually pause it to avoid such issues. Anyone else seeing somewhat better GPS tracking with the Bip 3 Pro?
Update: I ended up keeping the Bip 3 Pro because of the slightly bigger display and more GPS circuits. Plus the Bip U Pro I got from Amazon had what looked like a water stain on the inside surface of the screen that was annoying to look at. Been using the Bip 3 Pro and liking it. No false readings, accurate, fast response, reasonably bright screen, decent functionality. Obviously it's not a sports watch but for my needs it's more than good enough.
What are your thoughts on the Bip U Pro vs the Amazfit GTR 2? I have the GTR and really like it. I originally wanted what looked more like a regular watch but now I'm almost going the opposite way.
Bought U pro 2021 and have went swimming in the pools and sea multiple times, still in good condition. Because of it's light weight and super long battery life, i always wearing this instead of my other android watches.
Hi! Great video. Can U help me? I would like to know the real colour of the bip 3 pros strap. On the videos it looks like its rather grey than black. Is it true or is it black, just the lights and the video makes it look like grey. Thx.👊
If there's GPS inbuilt in watch, there should also be music storage. So we can listen music through it. If you are going for a run, you won't leave your headphones do you? So to me bip3 makes more sense. If it had amoled it wouldve been perfect for me. Im still thinking

Hi! I just bought bip 3 and realized it has no reply quality to respond to sns messages or emails. My question for you is: because bip u pro has alexa built in, is it possible to ask alexa to reply to a sms that just came in? Or an email? Thanks!
@@FitnessWithFrost well, I actually tried and she said the person receiving my text would have to sign up with alexa themselves. Do you think that will be a remaining problem?
I'm glad you enjoyed it! That's a very good point. Not really sure why they wanted to cut corners on that. I don't think it is a very used feature to be perfectly honest tho
Thanks for the comparsion. 👍 Even the Bip 3 Pro sounds interesting, I still stick on the Bip S with this very long battery life of 1 month and the transreflective always on display. I still hope, that Amazfit will make an other watch with this kind of display (but a littlebit bigger) and this long battery life or at least a minimum of 3 weeks.
It really counts on what you're doing with it. Tough stuff like rock climbing or hiking I would recommend but daily use and going to the gym you should be fine

After this info I've decided to go with a renewed Amazfit GTS 4 which is priced $10 more than the Bip 3 Pro. Thanks so much for this video!

What are your thoughts on the Bip U Pro vs the Amazfit GTR 2? I have the GTR and really like it. I originally wanted what looked more like a regular watch but now I'm almost going the opposite way.

what do think is better, the amazfit bip 3(pro) or the mi band 7 pro?

Any band can work without connection to the phone. Just if you would like accurate distance data without your phone you will need a GPS built in

Are they going to have their phone on them?
Does either have a timer and an Alarm Clock that you can set and customize from the watch, without using the app?
Yes they both have an alarm you can set on your watch
How strong is the vibration on each? Strong enough to be used as a silent alarm clock?
I believe so, but I've never had troubles with any vibrations waking me up. It's a normal intensity

It can, but it wouldn't be recommend. Salt water will corrode after extended use
