- Early in life, Serena Dyksen faced many trials as she suffered sexual abuse by her uncle which resulted in an unplanned pregnancy at just 13 years old. After being forced into abortion, Serena experienced long-lasting physical, emotional, and spiritual complications that affected her marriage with her husband, Bruce. On the other side of it, Bruce and Serena now share their story-the pain they walked through together and individually, as well as the grace Serena discovered in both Bruce and Jesus. Thank you Serena for sharing your experience and testimony. ❤ So many women have had abortions just in our country alone and many of them are crushed and suffocated by the shame of it that they can’t bare the thought of it being exposed, especially in their church.
Back in the 80’s when I would tell my own testimony, the church I went to for 19 years treated me like a second class citizen, not worthy of not only God’s grace but, their own grace. Never have I ever been forsaken by the Lord! He has loved me through every part of dealing with each issue that abortion holds against us.
Thank you again for your bravery and your book! I pray that the Lord reaches many more women who have been devastated by this huge lie through your life and Focus on the Family. God bless you!!

My heart still feels so sad for the baby 😢 I feel bad what happen to her I get it but the baby my heart saddens so deeply as didn't get a chance to say please let me stay the babys soul was still hurt it's still a painful thing 😢 I feel sorry for her about what happened and the baby all together
Her baby is in Heaven & one day, she’ll be with her baby for eternity.
