Most mesmerizing soulful rendition of "Abheri" with visiting CARD keerthanai "Nagumomu" in pure carnatic form. Needless to mention, the bhajan rendered in "BHIMPLASI" in unadulterated Hindustani style was par excellence. A scintillating blend of Carnatic with Hindustani set to perfect sruthi and layam is amazing. I am completely lost and got engrossed into the blissfully divine music. Pandit Jasraj - one of the most vivid illustrations Panditji has created is Govindam Gokkulanandam and Braje Basantam navneeta Choram... Panditji was an ardent exponent of Chap poets. Everytime he rendered these compositions , he presented it in veritable expression- direct communication between the almighty and him. Ramesh Narayan could do justice to some extent.
Sreevalsam Menon is perhaps the only Carnatic musician who has the correct diction and positioning of Hindustani Compositions and " Dhwani of Pancha dravida Vedic languages with Samskrutam. Reminds of Neyyartinkara Vasudevan and Nk Mohana chandran duo concerts... A golden period
