Also true! I don't know how I didn't mention this. Hyper Beam is overall just a lot more punishing and not worth using in Stadium over moves like Double Edge.
I'd argue there's no reason not to use both on a Pokémon like Tauros. Double Edge's recoil is ignored when it breaks a Subsitute or knocks out an opponent, so that bit of extra power can make a difference!
6:40 also, there was a glitch in the Switch version which higlighted moves purple even if they werent illegal...it's been patched...
This is true! This is actually what the footage I used in this video is from because it was easier to find in higher quality, haha
8:32 in stadium only, if hyper beam misses, then it will require a recharge turn as well!

@@WinternetLP Yes, also Double Edge ain't too hot either since it's only 100 base power, use Body Slam.

@@WinternetLP true! haha
cool video.
Thank you!
its is not 9 hp is actualy 11 😂
You spend an hour using Tackle and Splash nearly 80 times in a game with unskippable battle animations and try to do quick math, then get back to me
9:53 you could've used a Ditto. Transform has only 10 pp, unlike Splash.
You're right! I didn't think of that. I tried a few options and ended up with Magikarp.
