PP is on my wishlist! I actually WANT the tree look 😁 But I think I need a second plant that kinda grows wild, because I also love when the “trunk” does the curvy thing!

My goodness ... that is the most beauteous Peperomia Peperomiodes I've ever seen, combining the best of both growth habits. I once saw a PP in a doctor's office, where a single stem was (probably) rooted in a coke bottle and someone just kept adding soil to it until it reached the rim. It grew straight up, no stake needed, to those awful fluorescent ceiling panels like nobody's business!
New viewer. I like your on-screen captions showing what aspect of cultivation you're addressing.
Question for you: Will a single petiole w/leaf attached root and make a viable plant? Thanks.
Edit: Oops, s/b Pilea, not Peperomia. Got my Ps crossed.

I love it when plants seem to grow in random places despite all the odds :) Thank you for being here 💚 Unfortunately a single Pilea leaf cannot be propagated, you will need to have some of the stem in tact in order for roots to form and then for a plant to grow. Peperomia, on the other hand, can be rooted in water from a leaf cutting. 🙂

I love repotting too, march and april are really good months for me. The new new-year growth wise 😊

I do like peperomia, I have about half a dozen, but this one just doesn't do it for me 😅 I really look forward to your vids, my climate is similar to yours, which makes your content really relevant to me. I do not run a humidifier, nor do I have one of those cabinets, so am always on the lookout for plants that could potentially do well in my place.

Might be because it's a Pilea and not a Peperomia!
All joking aside, it sends out pups like crazy but in the end it's not an easy plant to keep.

@@wyldhouseplants Very close to Munich. I spent about a decade in N2, and I'd say we probably have a smidgen more sun down here, but there's really not that much of a difference. Where abouts are you, if you don't mind me asking? I have my money on Hampstead ;-)

@@Dwynfal Oh my, I thought pileas were part of the peperomia fam! I stand corrected ;-)

Ha I love that I'm giving Hampstead vibes but sadly that area is waaay out of my budget! I live in Enfield, not as glam 😊
