I definitely see the difference between the brazil and the borsigiana. I'm glad you got an ID on your lovely begonia, and those gloriosums are show-stoppers! I hope the variegation on those is being less temperamental for you over all than it was before?
Also, I know how mature burle marx flame is supposed to look so I understand the comparison you're drawing, but I honestly think the tiny dancer-looking immature version is really cute. I feel like that's one where I'd be thrilled to have it size up, but will still think it's cute if it doesn't so I wouldn't necessarily stress about it or be turned off. It's good to have some info on how it tends to grow in case it ends up on my wish list. Thanks for the info, Kaylee!

I can def see the difference between Brasil and the other forms. We have it here in Australia, often in a wide or narrow leaf form, and its pricepoint is very modest even for established fully mature plants as many areas can grow it as a garden plant letting it go nuts and size up fast. The older it gets the more obvious the differences are imo.

Yesss! I found the Monstera Brazilian Common Form in a hardware store randomly one time. I didn’t know what it was, it was just different so I took it home and googled like crazy. Loving that it is getting the recognition here and that I am not imagining things. She is more stiff, not floppy at all, has thick veins over the whole leaf, a different shade of green and different fenestration. This was in Germany too, so not sure how it ended up in the hardware store together with regular Monsteras.

Lovely plants! The Monstera does look different from the typical MD, I think it looks more cartoony actually. I still prefer a large form Deliciosa. I was luckily allowed to get a little stunted side shoot of a very large and old Monstera from one of my college buildings, I've propagated it in water and I've been growing it for about 4-5 years now. It is huge! The newest leaf is the size of my torso. I just love a huge fenestrated heart-shaped leaf... I think it may be my favorite plant. Sorry for the rant.
Anyway! I did say I'll comment on every new video until you see it. Please do an update on your orchids. Are the jewels still alive? Have you tried any new ones? Orchids are pet friendly, you know? And there is SO much variety!

I can say I see and know the difference in the monstera deliciousa Brazilian common form, because I have some and even grew them about 7-8ft up my tree here in USA Florida with big big leaves, and sold top cut, and two leaf and one leaf cuttings 2 years ago, ex: for $200 single leaf for the same size your plant leaves are and $400-$600 for the big big leaf, when I say big, they were about 2feet wide by 2feet long. They’re gorgeous. I also sold two separate plants with 12-14 leaves at the size of your plant for $500, but this was 2 years ago. I was and still always do, sell a little cheaper than everyone in my community, I just try to be more generous because I feel everyone should be able to afford the more expensive plants. That’s just my opinion, if I have it to sell, I will sell for cheaper than everyone else. Not bragging or saying anything, like oh I’m better because I sell for less, but just saying that they were being sold for more than what I sell. If I see someone selling a plant for $500, my selling price is $300, or less, but I think you all understand what I’m trying to say😅
