"Ive seen people hot gluing their clothes together, and that really stresses me out" is probably the most relatable thing I've heard in a sewing tutorial
Definitely gonna try.. Thank you so much.. Ur cool! I have been searching for a real denim jacket tutorial for a long time.. Nd this definitely caught my eye..💕✨👍
Great video with clear instructions, thank you! I'm gonna sew a denim jacket soon and before I buy the pattern I had to do some research on how to actually sew it and if I'm experienced enough to do so. So thanks, I'm gonna be away sewing my own denim jacket ^^
Can you more men’s projects. Love the collard shirt pattern & Gonna buy this pattern right now! I’m just beginning sewing and you are giving life to the brothas🙏
Hey thank you for teaching me the right steps. I know how to upcycle clothing. But never made a jacket from scratch so this is educational. The 2 Maine reasons why I want to learn how to make my own clothes is 1 its fun creating and 2 im 6'8 and am very limited in styles so I decided to make my own. I'm gonna try and fix my grandmothers sewing machine its so fuckin cool. Then I have to teach myself how to work it. I've only sewed by hand. So that'll be an adventure. Then I'll come back to this video tweek the pattern a bit and go at it. Thank you though
Going to attempt making myself a motorcycle vest with ripstop army camo outside, Kevlar in the middle and Codura on the inside. Oh, and a back armour that I can remove before washing. And a leather bias binding (didn't know it was called a bias binding before today) on the sleeve. Going through some of your videos. Hopefully, I can pull this off.
Nothit has a video on it. It's not exactly this style of jacket and I personally don't understand his accent at all, but it's still helpful if you have absolutely no idea what to do.
hey this is a really great video and i enjoyed it a lot ! it would be really helpful if you explained it for noobs who have no idea about some of the terms and tools you use (like me) because then it would be easier for everyone who wanted to make one alongside you! thanks so much for the video though it was great to watch ! :) ox 👏👌💜
thank you! I have been adding cm to my most recent videos and I will continue haha 😅 In production, a sewing machine called “Feed Off The Arm double chainstitch machine” is used for jeans! I don’t have that machine, and I find that doing a “diy” flat felled seam can look a little bit uneven/sloppy. Sewing the seams the way I did was the best way to get that “look” without that machine
Thanks for the video. What is the point of all the back panels if it lies flat? I thought yokes were for adapting to the curve on the back without darts, but when you put all the panels together it was flat. Can anyone explain this for me?
honestly I developed this pattern based on a different pattern I made in design school a few years ago! it’s not a 100% perfect pattern (I quickly changed the seam lines from my other jacket instead of drafting a new jacket from a sloper). so you’re right! the yoke and the bottom back piece should be a little bit curved!
@@nataliadedios I see! Thanks for replying. It turned out beautiful. I'm relatively new to sewing and want to make a jacket for myself and trying to figure things out. I really appreciate it.
No one has a pattern for jean jackets!! I really want to try it but don't know how to make a pattern. Is there anyway to link the pattern in the description?
Hey, i just want to know if denim jackets have different types of bodice patterns? I mean I'm confused that a basic bodice slopper pattern could help me make a denim jacket because in that slopper there's dart ! And i think jackets don't have darts in it!
I always wanted to sew something but shit i didnt know it is so complicated :((( well im not gonna do it, it would look horrible lol. But the the video was very cool ✌
I got this denim from elegant fabrics in new york! I have a video on where I get my fabric: “4 best fabric stores in new york city/ come fabric shopping with me” and another video “where to buy fabric and trim - new york garment district” 😇

Hot glue what-
Omg you made the inside so neat, I would wear it inside out also
You make it so simple. I don’t know how people sew
without ironing.

Hi Natalia!...all ready to purchase pattern but you only seem to Medium size ! Is this correct ????
Thumbs up. where can I get your kind over locking machine?
I would love to know the name and model of your sewing machine, i really like it.
Juki DDL-8700 and Brother 1634D serger!
Love itttt
Fire 🔥🔥
Mam , nice vedio but you must want to show crafting video of this .. pls if possible it now

a basic bodice sloper is only for tops/dresses not outerwear! for outwear different bodices are used :)
Hey I wanna buy the pattern form your etys store but am not sure about the sizing is is big enough to fit a muscles dude
Can I ask what weight of denim you used? I'm trying to figure out a heavy enough weight that will still go through my sewing machine 🙂
What weight denim is best for this?
Which size of machine is good for sowing it
How can i get the pattern making? How much?
how much should be the size of each part
Please sell the pattern i would looove to buy it 😍
that will be my next pattern for sale on Etsy!! I’m working on it :)
How long does this take?
What sewing machine model is this?
Top top bravo

Please show the the cutting video
I sell this pattern on my Etsy shop :)
Also a great video to watch is “how to clone clothes” by the modeliste studio! he copies a denim jacket
I always wanted to sew something but shit i didnt know it is so complicated :((( well im not gonna do it, it would look horrible lol. But the the video was very cool ✌
jackets are difficult as a first project! start with something simpler and then work your way up 🙏✨

I’m working on a pdf version because so many people have been asking! coming soon 😅

@@nataliadedios Thank you very much for that info. I'm from South Africa do you think there's a way I can get the material shipped to me?
I would call the store and see if they can ship it out of the country!! 🙏 and maybe ask for swatches so you can see the fabric before buying yardage
