Thanks everyone! Really appreciate all the feedback. :)
Love that last bit of the scar tissue on the back of the head where the mech parts attach, beautiful work!

Lovely stuff dude, your attention to detail and sculpt materiality is merciless.
Plz do an in-depth tutorial on your techniques, such as hard surface tricks, how-to apply masking and extruding to obtain that level of tech-look. Your work is beyond approach. Simply stunning.
always amazing to watch you work. Please post more!

I get so god damn annoyed that I'm not on your level!!!
It would mean the world if you'd make some tutorials to us young stupid people who needs a hand at becoming masters of the universe like you are, sir :(
Please make a tutorial on how you did the hard surface stuff
there is a tutorial over at Eat3D. It's called Eat3D- Zbrush Hard Surface Techniques vol 1 and vol 2(vol.1 is mech), (Vol.2 is a girl).
Another amazing 3D model, Great Job.
How long have you employed in making this model?
cabeza esta muy grande ,como estirada hacia arriba, pero fenomenal! (y)
Such amazing work, I'm just starting out in Zbrush I really want to learn to 3D model it looks like so much fun but the program can be a little overwhelming at times lol. I have a question though, I suck at hand drawing would that impact my ability to make detailed creations in Zbrush?
u r Truly Inspirational.........
hi can u tell me how much time its take.
cool
oh my god, my inspiration ! haha
I was utterly enthralled through the whole video. Just phenomenal work.
What basemesh are you using? It looks like you had polygroups worked out on it. Are you willing to share it?
Hey man, thanks. The basemesh is a modified version of ZBro's base mesh with a mouth bag and some polygroups set up to make sculpting the mouth easier. If people are interested I'll share it
Adam Fisher I know I'm interested. If you share it I'll make good use of it.
Makkon
Alright no worries. I'll put a download link in my thread on pc soon. I've added the link to the thread in the description
Absolutely awesome, how long did it actually take to make time wise?
great, but the bad of this kind of record is that we can not see the tools and brushes
Great work! how long did you work on this?
What did you do at around 9:25 to geth everything perfectly smooth and sharp? Did you retopologize all of the pieces? I'm very curious to know this technique.
mr fisher .... i can't even describe how inspiring ur work is .... god like ! maybe that's the word ..i'd appreciate it if u could answer two question for me ( u already answered one from the polypaint which i thank u for it ) , one what tools , brushes and ... did u use for the hard surface ? did u use dynamesh polish ? second did u just start sculpting ? :D i mean did u have something in mind first for it or did u just went for it .. ? thanks in advance and sorry for y poor english . again ur work is god like ...
Hi Iman, thanks. From memory, for the hard surface concept phase I used the clay brushes, hpolish, damStandard clip brushes. Yeah i had done a few pencil sketches to get a rough idea, but most of the concepting was done in Zbrush.
Adam Fisher
thanks adam , u r amazing . i really appreciate ur answer .
beautiful stuff :) track names plzz? :D
other than glitch mob fortune days
@ 10:28 - what kind of a material is this ? and could you please paste the RGB information?
zbrush rządzi!!!
neutralism, I'd added body or different body's. Overall its very good
i watched both the videos of this series
can you please upload the same videos with a little less speed.....like 1.5x or 2x of the original speed
this can be really helpful
the model its awesome, 9:24 how did you do the retopo in this second.
i realy want to know too, hard surface is quite hard on zbrush
Dont u realize guys that he could lather retopoed it inside of maya and then take it back to zbrush?
VRSArtist not sure of it, thats why im asking. btw your videos are cool :D
If you read the description you'd see I retopod in Maya and re-imported it into zbrush. I used the modelling toolkit for retopo in Maya and creased edges to keep the sharp edges. Hope that helps
This is very good.
I was wondering if it were possible, if you were to go in depth and show us the main tips and tools you use for the common difficult areas in a sculpt in Zbrush. I would happily promote this video amongst my peers.
Also PM me for how much you would charge for a sculpt in the average quality range of the ones seen in your videos.
Please tell musci neame that runs from abou 4;33 and if possible please tell me which genre is this
Arshpreet Singh okay i find in description
Adam I think you have fantastic skills. Watch your account on Artstation and there old works there, be happy when you upload something new ! Could you look at my work and give me some good advice? just getting started in zbrush. It would be cool to get directions from a great sculptor
Did you retopo the hard surface stuff with? did you put in a lot of edges so it subdivided well back in zbrush? Nice work!
Boss work! How did you make the inner mouth? Im sorry If it's too obvious im new to Zbrush.
how does that not have a million views? :P
do you have any electronics/mechanics knowledge when you do the machineparts or do you just go by aesthetics?
Thanks. No I don't have electronics/mechanics knowledge, it was just fun to go in a try to make something cool... it doesn't have much function and doesn't really make much sense. If he ever got into a fight it would make for a nice handle for someone to grab the back of his head with :)
Thanks for the visual haha either way it came out great! I hope we get to see more of your eyecandy in future :)
how did you retopo those hard surfaces at 9:28
how did u sculpt mouth inside?
9:27 retopology in zbrush/topogun?
The description mentions Maya. Maya 2014 comes with new modeling tools that allow you to retopologize over high poly geometry.
reminds me of daud
I'm just going to put this out there... but if you made in-depth tutorials and put them up on Gumroad or something, I would buy the shit out of them!
what happend between 9:27 and 9:28? Zremesh or hand retopology?
Manual retopology in Maya and re-imported back into Zbrush
@@afisher3d thank you! :)
Wait, what happens between 9:26-9:28? suddenly all pieces appears supersmooth and clean, What kind of sorcery is that?
that is the power of maya :D
as he said in the description,he sculpted the basics of the mechanical parts, then exported all in maya, retopologized them and then reimported back in zbrush ;)
its the dark arts. (he who must not be named taught him the spell.)
Why don't you make some tutorials?
Adam, what's your education?:)
Awesome!!
Thank you very much!
Astonished by your skill and talent dude,so much details. I salute you
Awesome work man!
