    mr fisher .... i can't even describe how inspiring ur work is .... god like ! maybe that's the word ..i'd appreciate it if u could answer two question for me ( u already answered one from the polypaint which i thank u for it ) , one what tools , brushes and ... did u use for the hard surface ? did u use dynamesh polish ? second did u just start sculpting ? :D i mean did u have something in mind first for it or did u just went for it .. ? thanks in advance and sorry for y poor english . again ur work is god like ...

    • @afisher3d
      @afisher3d  7 лет назад

      Hi Iman, thanks. From memory, for the hard surface concept phase I used the clay brushes, hpolish, damStandard clip brushes. Yeah i had done a few pencil sketches to get a rough idea, but most of the concepting was done in Zbrush.

    • @afisher3d
      @afisher3d  9 лет назад +5

      If you read the description you'd see I retopod in Maya and re-imported it into zbrush. I used the modelling toolkit for retopo in Maya and creased edges to keep the sharp edges. Hope that helps

    I was wondering if it were possible, if you were to go in depth and show us the main tips and tools you use for the common difficult areas in a sculpt in Zbrush. I would happily promote this video amongst my peers.
    Also PM me for how much you would charge for a sculpt in the average quality range of the ones seen in your videos.

    do you have any electronics/mechanics knowledge when you do the machineparts or do you just go by aesthetics?

    • @afisher3d
      @afisher3d  7 лет назад

      Thanks. No I don't have electronics/mechanics knowledge, it was just fun to go in a try to make something cool... it doesn't have much function and doesn't really make much sense. If he ever got into a fight it would make for a nice handle for someone to grab the back of his head with :)
