I don't know why, but the final image looks like old Mark Hamill. Which takes it to the next level.
Thanks everyone!
+Adam Fisher why are you a freelance artist?
+Andy Domonkos inflate brush for the pupils. you dont necessarily need dynamesh if you use zremesher and yeah fairly certain theyre extractions.
how long did you take to make this?
This is some absolutely insane work. Please upload you doing a full character, I would love to see your full character workflow from start to end.

Whats that hair workflow?
did u make those geometries one per one?
you are awesome
Amazing work as always! Is it possible that you could share the custom insert mesh brush you used for the hair? :)
Johan3043 Hi you can use the Curve Tube brush for the same hair output as he did it's default brush in zbrush.
+Johan3043 Thanks man, sorry missed this comment earlier. It's a tri-part insert mesh brush (base, middle, tip) and I had planned on releasing it, but I wanted to fine tune it first, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Check out gumroad.com/dekren for some hair brushes that should help you out. Thanks!
+Adam Fisher Thanks for this great timelapse.
Have you released this amazing insert mesh ?
+Adam Fisher I'm getting bug when I try to use this brush on r7 zbrush
Amazing work! What did you do at 15:32 ? is it mask by cavity and then what. how did you manage to get nice strands of hair from that ? thanks!
Awesome stuff, one thing I wish I could see is your palette. DAMMIT, lol
Intrepid Oak Subbed :)
*Great work. how you did the hair?*
do u have any tutorials ? i love your workflow but would love to see it slowed down :)
Hello, grear work!. Can you download the base mesh of head?
Amazing work Adam, thank you for share it with us. Some questions for you. Did you use "Curve Tube" brush for hair? What brush did you use? Thank you for your help!
+B.FOSTER Artworks Thanks! I used a custom insert brush for the hair
+Adam Fisher i love your work Adam, its amazing. Its posible you share this custom brushes to the hair? or pay for it? i love it. Thank you so much!
Hi, because I found your technic for hair very interesting, I did a sculpt like you, but I have a question for you about the retopology and the low poly mesh: how did you make your low poly for this? Thanks u very much if you can respawn to me
I didn't make a low poly version of this. It was just a high poly sculpt
+Adam Fisher ok thanks
我也根据您的教程制作了模型 想请您指教一下 不知道通过什么方式能把我自己制作的模型图片发送到您的电脑上
Great job Adam. May I ask what material you're using at 1:18 on?
+drbo42 Thanks! Hmmm looks like it was either the matAerniTurntable or one of the zbro_Mud matcaps.
Is the face all dynamesh or you zremeshed it after the secondary forms? Or the base mesh was good enough that you didn't have to go the dynamesh approach? I just love your timelapses, i think i've watched them 100 times by now
I'm pretty sure I just stayed with the base mesh and divided it enough to add the details. Thanks for watching!
Thanks a lot for the reply! I hope you'll make some more timelapses too in the future, they are a real joy to watch! Cheers
do you know how long it took?
poly count? more than 20 million?
what did you used in hair and Bear like fibermesh but you create one by one?
Like I said in the description. The hair was created using a custom insert mesh brush.
Very Impressive! Any chance you'd be willing to share the custom hair insert brush?
+Robert Garcia Thanks Robert. I had planned on releasing the brush, but I wanted to fine tune it first and haven't gotten around to doing that. Maybe check out gumroad.com/dekren for some hair brushes that look like they do the pretty much the same thing. Cheers
Sweet! Thanks for the link! I'd still like to get a look at your brush when/if you release.
what brush do you use for the hair?
Hey Adam, I have a question for you: If you make a cinematic character that will talk, and will have facial expressions later, what is the initial state of the face while modeling? Mouth widely open or just opened a little bit?
How did you do the hair ?
what time lapse recorder did u use, trying to find one more my projects
I just used the in built Zbrush timelapse recorder
Thank u
Were you extracting hair at 13:25 ?
Can somebody please let me know how long it takes him to complete this? Also, can it be completed in a day if given the time?
+BoxCraft If you were as good as him, imagining 1 second on this video is an actual 20 seconds, it'd take a little less than 7 hours, which I believe is fair since of how good the result looks !
was the hard surface done in another software
Maya
Why you dont use fiber mesh?
+Surendra kumar Varma I do sometimes, but I wasn't getting what I wanted from it for this and it lacked the control I wanted
thnx for the reply man ,your works are really inspiring.
Hallo Adam. You Could show a few lessons?
why none can get hold of u? do u have any video tutorials explaining things? regards
Software???
I also make the model according to your tutorial Want to please teach Don't know through what way can make your own model pictures sent to me on your computer
brute aka old mark hamill
danny trejo at minute 1:45
be curious about how to make the detail of hair, video is too boost~
every once in a while put the camera to normal speed cause the constant jittery Ness is hard on the eyes
you need to put something in the titles that indicates that these videos are of something on a computer, and not a real sculpture .
beautiful use of imm hair this is gorgeous well done :)
Awesome!
