The rythm and content of this song is the fast lope of a short pony. I am an eastern Oregon cowboy but I recognize these are horse people with horse culture, they sing to my soul.
Just search "Atın Türküsü" (Ballad of the Horse) album of Turkish folk singer İrfan Gürdal. His whole album is on this theme you mentioned - rythms based on different gait types.
You are my favourite. Steppe music and metal. I have got a lot of steppian friends from Mongolia across to Hungary. You cannot imagine the music that you've been attacked and reached. Congrats!
I thought it was kinda crap. Very inaccurate and full of incredibly dumb stuff. Like at 3:00. How does a persons eyes not roll out of their skull when watching that? A real shame since the movie did have a lot of good bits. :(
@@poilboiler I mean it's a movie after all and not a documentary, so obviously they are gonna throw in some awe worthy scenes to make it more hardcore and movie worthy.
jojkoon What is the Turkic people, the Turkic culture can be read in historical sources. References to the runic alphabet and a well-known personality in ancient Turkic history: Kul-tegin. This is the 6th-8th century. Turkmens (as well as Middle Eastern Turks) also belong to the family of Turkic peoples. This includes Tuvinians, Uighurs, Kazakhs, Altaians, Kirghiz, but they are more of a Mongoloid. And we, the Crimean and Volga Tatars, but our appearance is not so pronounced in terms of Mongoloid. A lot of European impurity, Finno-Ugric. Mongols from us differ only in language and faith, well, apart from a racial appearance. We are basically all Muslims. The Mongols are Buddhists. So much has been mixed up in our Turkic-Mongolian world. And the layer of ancient culture goes back to the common pagan faith associated with the spirits of nature, and the supreme heavenly deity, Tengri-khan.
One Dollar to rule them all which historical resource? In 8th century were living Tureg people short time in central mongolia. But turkish people thought that they were turks. Tureg means not turk. Where were turks at the 13th century? You came from persia, arabia and other muslim countries not from central asia. Please proud of your own culture and roots. Don't steal others things. It could change nothing!
jojkoon Are the Seljuk Turks talking about anything to you? This is the union of Oguz tribes. And he settled in the territory of present-day Turkey, having moved from Central Asia, when the western Turkic Kaganate disintegrated, which also united different tribes. And what does Persia or Arabia have to do with the Iranians and the Arabs? One thing I can say is that the current Turks now have different hybrids, including assimilating with the Middle Eastern nationalities. It is clear that they are not Mongoloids, but they have a common layer of the Turkic-Mongolian culture from antiquity. Here we are Volga Tatars, our ancestors Volga Bulgars. What does Persia or Arabia have to do with it? Our ancestors also came from the shrapnel of the Turkic Khaganates, or from the migration of the Huns. We have crossbreeds of Finno-Ugrians, something Iranian. Mongoloid in us 10-15%. But we have surprisingly similar traditions with Mongolian ones. At least listen to our music and you will understand that this is not something that is Arab or Iranian. Personally, we have something to be proud of. And I respect Mongolian history the same way. it was the Mongolian tribes, like the Turkic Cossacks, that were united by nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes. And this was the Turkic-Mongolian union in all respects. At what it is believed that the Turkic-speaking were just the carriers of Mongoloidness in antiquity, which exerted their influence on other neighbors. But just now no one will answer who the ancestors of the Turks were: Caucasoids or Mongoloids, or something average. In addition, the same Mongols advised to be interested in the history of the Turkic Khaganates. Such a person as Kul-tagin. Because it also directly links the emergence of the Mongol empire in the 12-13 centuries.
Türk'üm Türk'sün Türk'üz Here I do not agree. We may have a similar culture and traditions, but we are not of the same race. Turkic Mongoloids (Kazakhs, Kirghiz, Uighurs), and the Turkic Turkic Turks in the Middle East are not the same. In this regard, somehow closer to Turkey, the Crimean Tatars, Volga Tatars, Azerbaijanis, other Caucasian or Dagestan Turkic. The same Tuvans, they are Turkic, but clearly not the Turks in terms of race. Some kind of Mongoloidity among the Turks is present, we also have Tatars. There are joints of historical cultures and races. But nothing more.
