If you are experiencing an Art Block yourself the results of this poll might be comforting: ruclips.net/user/postUgkxVn-4WJ10TtM6VW1bTCSrJqdMCVMjkf3w Also, everyone struggles with some artistic challenges, here are the poll results of the community tab: ruclips.net/user/postUgkxoAQsAlhBlV_taEnbhCU5L0pgktf4dM2C
Whenever I've had an art block, it's always the worst. I want to draw but my hand just won't move and I have to put the paper down. Sometimes I'll go days or weeks without drawing. It's the worst and I hate it. I always feel like I have to draw something inspired, like a creative costume design or someone making a dynamic pose. While I do like challenging myself like that, it also means I struggle to just draw something simple. I really need to conquer that. But when I do need to feel inspired I'll read a manga, or look at an artbook or an old sketchbook of mine. That helps sometimes. I'll get an idea and need to draw it out. Also sometimes the best thing you can do is just try and draw something. I've seen videos where they say that artists don't need inspiration to draw. "Ain't nothing to it but to do it" as they say. At least that's helped me when I've had an artist block.
Good point's and indeed, it comes all down to ''just doing it'' like you said. But that takes discipline, something most people don't have tbh. That said, looking at your older art is definitely good and cool way to see what you've accomplished so far.
i have an exam to enter an illustration degree in 8 days and i feel incredibly identified with some of the problems in this video which i appreciate you sharing. i never comment on youtube but your channel in general is so exactly what im looking for, envelops so specifically all of my art/media interests so well, and is helping me so much that i just wanted to give you a big thanks ^^
I currently am in one, i forgot my own art style (or how to draw in general) and your channel helped me draw just now....for reals bro love your content, here's a sub
I just draw when I have the opportunity to. I do not believe in writer nor artist block as RUclipsr who forgot the name said the former does not exist. They are both myths to me.
