Wow. Glad to see the injured palomino baby got picked up. Was curious how veterinary care is handled for those in holding. Also dental, farrier care. Have you made a video about these things? Sometimes I think it would be be neat to visit one of these just to have the experience. But then I’m terrible with loud screechy echoing and repetitive sounds due to a health condition. I would tire out almost immediately. It must be so loud! It’s good to see how gently and humanely they load the horses. Finally, your presence must be so calming to these horses. You send them nothing but positive vibes!
They use a padded chute to do their feet. It looks really silly 😂 but it squeezes them and turns them sideways. I found a video of it on here a long time ago. They receive vaccines, worming, and hoof care. I'm not sure if they do things like remove wolf teeth.
@@Groundedsquirrel I hope they are given the utmost care. They deserve it. I haven't personally seen anything negative at any auctions or holding facilities that I've been to.
Hi! I was there, got there about an hour after the auction! I have a soft spot for the donkeys....... Your video shows very well and accurately what the event was like. I was VERY impressed by the handlers who quietly and methodically cut the targeted horse from the pen, and guided it through the chutes and into the trailers. I didn't see any hesitate for more than a few seconds before walking right into the trailers. I was also really struck by the snowflake appy; at first I thought he had dried mud spots on him, then realized they were markings! I took a number of photos of him because he was so interesting and striking. If I ever see him again, I will definitely recognize him. And LOTS of people stood and stared at the big black mare "Lilly." We all liked her, but she sure was sassy and bossy!
Hey! So cool you also got to be there! And yea, i thought they did a particularly good job at this event, giving the horses time to process/decompress before loading, so it then went pretty smooth. The pinto was the only one I remembering watching that struggled. (the one with the halter I struggled in the shoot - I didn't see that though)
@@TheProjectEquestrian The pinto was gone by the time I got there. The one with the halter was alone, at the end, right? I got a few photos of him; he was really freaked out and frantically rushing back and forth. I saw no injuries, and I wondered why he was alone. I thought the solid dark donkey was extraordinary, without the mealy muzzle. I was impressed with how attractive these horses were: not the typical big-headed ugly things I've seen in photos in years past.
Good call out on the pinto. 👍 @3:45 Pinto filly: "Oh, a worried group whorl to the other side of the pen? Mmm-kay, whatever. Let me get out of your way." I like that kind of mind. Not that one who races around the pen and looks for a place to jump out can't get there, but I'm lazy. Laid back and curious would suit me just fine. 😄
I like the wild horses of Alberta, They are a nice-looking wild horses up north. Well fed so much rich grass, their health is great, great feet like the Mustang.
I just wanted to say thank you to this young woman. Your videos have helped solidify my decision to adopt this November on the online corral. I also live on the East Coast so will most likely be heading to SC in Feb. Best videos about this process I've ever seen. I'm hoping to take home 2.
I truly enjoy your videos. Love your loving ways and will keep watching your videos and learning from you maybe if we ever get to an auction 😊. If you’d let me I’ll pick your brain to learn even more. God Bless and keep up the good work.
Have you heard about a guy named Jake Harvath? He’s traveling through 14 states with his 3 mustangs trying to spread the word about mustangs needing home. I thought you might be interested.
You’re so funny. Like that gray in you video. I’ve been developing horses and bird dogs for most of my life. Love all animals tame as well as wild. You seem like a great person. My late wife and I raised 13 beautiful children. They too love animals.
we are fighting in Switzerland against horsemeat from Canada. I hope, all this horses can live in freedom with their new owners. Please, don't bring them to your killpens, where they have to souffer terrible.😢😢😢
Natural selection makes them strong and the best there is. But when you look into the eyes of these horses you see what they have been through and that is sad.
Are there specific traits (physical and mental) depending on the different HMAs? Could you do a video with more details about the different HMAs and what they have in terms of conformation, height, temperament, etc.? I'd love to know more about them! What are your favourite HMAs and why? Thanks! :)
Each trainer has different resources and abilities blm government has certain requirements you can find in her other videos so they determine how many a person is approved for.
You are finding things wrong with some of these horses, the government should have vets on hand to treat these horses injuries, before they get worse, what is wrong with these people and the US government, I don't think they care about the horses just making money, to that is messed up.
The BLM actually does a really good job with keeping these animals. Ofc when you have thousands one or two might slip through but they always get them help as soon as they find out. These horses starve on the range and die of sickness and infection. That does not happen here
Was nice to see that the Handler’s here were KIND to the horses.
Quiet and Gentle.
Fantastic.

I'm assuming if they needed something invasive or needed medical care, they would be sedated
@@albatraozgirl oh wow, have seen that used in cattle videos. Always wondered what that’s like for the animals. Thanks for your answer.
@@albatraozgirl I’m sure things have improved over the years… many eyes on them I bet. Thanks!

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

It's nice that a few more mustangs got good homes.
Very awesome
First time watching you. So impressed with you showing how it all works. An love how the handlers are very quiet and patient with each horse.
Glad you enjoyed it! And yea, I appreciate when they give the mustangs time to work through the loading process
We picked up our yearling filly (2042) from that first yearling pen the day before you got there to video.. it's so fun watching your videos 🥰
Congratulations 🎉
Appy mustang could use some generous groceries. I hope they all go to homes that are kind and generous. 😍

I follow that group. They call them wildies.

Agree. A lot of information for people wanting to adopt a mustang.
I'm glad you found it helpfuL!
They all want to go home in your carry on , so sweet .

Oh, I loved the 6 yr old Grey with dark mane and tail !❤
super cute!
The Grey with the black mane and tail that got no bid, is a nice horse.
I'd love to know when you're coming to the Annville/ Palmyra, PA auction.
I'd love to meet you there and say hello, if possible. 😊😊
maybe I"ll make it for next year's annville event! :)
I’m glad it was under cover this time.
same!
I love them all ❤

I hope and pray all this stealing of usa horses and other places is stopped.
I can't believe no one bidded on the bay mare, she is beautiful.
That grey whose adoption fell through is wonderful.
We the people need our mustangs
Thats it. I need to hit the lottery.
Excellent 👍
The baby with the crescent moon star 🥺❤️❤️❤️
Have you seen the online auction they are saling for buy now 125 no more bids on right now ends 28 june
The horses were all so cute even the ones that looked in the worst shape❤
Are you going to be at the perry ga pickup in july? I'm picking up my first mustang then!
lovely
I am glad they have no idea what is going on esp if they are NOT bid on😢..like a kid getting picked last for a team playing wiffleball😅
lol!😅

I'd love to someday do a deeper dive into some of the HMAs! That would definitely be a fun one!
There is a horse online that looks similar to your horse Raven❤
I Hope & 🙏 these Beautiful Horses get great Owners & Homes🙏✝️🙏
Get a Male Donkey & a couple of (breedable) Mares. Mules are incredible Equines!!!
Our mustangs went back and forth to other countries and brought back by spain keep our mustangs protected
I think mustangs are one of the most beautiful animals. So sad they can’t live their lives in peace.
People who adopt these animals are angels.
Out of curiosity, would you ever consider buying a mule that has mustang dna in it?
As long as I have the means to take care of them yes
I'd definitely consider a BLM Mul-stang - though likely not in my reality!
Of course mules can not breed though
How come you wasn't bidding ???
I have too many already 😅
how many do you have are they easy to tame
Each trainer has different resources and abilities blm government has certain requirements you can find in her other videos so they determine how many a person is approved for.
Each horse is different but not everyone can relate to mustangs
Baby has a freeze brand doesn’t that mean BLM Mustang think it does that baby Abby Mustang has got some long legs I like it
ohh a young palomino.
You don't get much of a chance to view the horse's, the bucks kin baby with the stripes on his legs is indicative of a Spanish mustang.
They need a little WD40.

There was a vet on site on the 13th treating the injured horse. She did not go without vet care.
I don't understand, why they are so cheap
If they can't find home since September 2021 ***** with out public comment or input
The mustang pay big time if there is too many
The baby with the crescent moon star 🥺❤️❤️❤️
