    Request you to clarify between Organisational dedign and Business dedign please. To me everything you described is business design, to be more precise business architecture (org mapping is one adpect within this of course)
    I was wondering since you mentioned HR but there wasn't an HR element.
    Not challenging but sincerely requesting more clarification please. Thanks

      Great question! In the video, we start with a value chain analysis because that’s the starting point of organizational design. Organizational design focuses on how internal structures, roles, and processes are optimized to meet the required capabilities and strategic objectives. By looking at the value chain of Rosmarino, we can analyze the impact on HR. To make Rosmarino successful, Judy will have to develop specific skills (packaging expertise), change jobs (the sous chef who will focus on home deliveries), work design (based on the new operating model), and even attract outside talent (the financial manager to price the menu). All of this reflects the organizational design and directly impacts HR strategies and policies.
