This was so lovely and comforting to watch. The sights and sounds almost brought a sense of being able to smell the sausage and apples cooking. Just like my grandparents’ home. I’m a transplanted southerner from VA to NY. But I maintain the same mentality as you have demonstrated here today. Thank you.
Hi Anita ❤️Love your video and thoughts of a simple message of simple pleasures 💕😀I soooo agree! Our world is out of control and we must hang on to our beautiful nature and home treasures and family love❤️🥰
What a comforting and yummy video! Can't wait to make the breakfast and lasagna! Your home is so warm and cozy and inviting I watch your videos and blogs over and over. I so appreciate the time and effort you put into both your video and the blog. Thanks for always reminding us of the simple blessings that our Lord gives us each day. A gentle reminder to us all in this crazy and techy world. God bless you Love from Lin ♥️

Thank you so much☺️☺️ I do hope to bring some peace and a few moments for people to slow down in this very chaotic and seemingly incomprehensible world🙏🙏🙏❤️
The music in this video is so beautiful! The food looks scrumptious, Anita! So much gorgeous inspiration in this wonderful video! Thank you for sharing!
Hi Anita! That rushing creek sound, not sure it gets any better than that! Your surroundings are definitely beautiful and peaceful my friend. Your lasagna sounds delicious and I will definitely be trying the squash in my recipe. Thank you sweet friend for being such an inspiration! Happy home making☺️
Ok... I am having breakfast for dinner tonight! The only addition is... I need a hot biscuit dripping in butter on my plate! I did notice you using your bare hand on the cast iron skillet.. Doesn't yours get hot? For not being a cook, that lasagna looked amazing! I do a similar one with sliced eggplant... and sometimes I layer fried rounds of polenta between my sauce and cheese layers. I am sure your family are so grateful to have a wife and mother who loves making a sanctuary for them. Home and family is everything!
Oh the eggplant sounds delicious - and fried polenta - yum!! And biscuits - actually we love them, and with sausage and apples, they are a staple here, but we need to mostly eat lower carbs, sadly, so I usually leave off the bread😭😭😭 This skillet will get hot if I’m cooking a long while or in the oven, but not for something quick☺️☺️ Thank you☺️☺️
That lasagna looks yummy!!! What type of squash did you say you grew? I love that it is summer but stores like winter. Definitely need that on my garden this year. My grandmother always made the bed when she got up each day, I to must make the bed when I get up. Makes me feel ready to begin the day, plus as I pass through to go to the bathroom throughout the day seeing the made bed, make me happy. ❤
Yes, Chris, it really makes a difference to me when I walk through the room as well - it seriously relieves stress seeing the bed made☺️☺️ I don’t know what the squash is, and no one else I’ve asked knows either - it is just a hybrid that grew from seeds I had, and I’m not sure if it’s something I cross pollinated, or what but it is the most amazing squash / zucchini I’ve ever had☺️☺️ I’m growing it again this year to make sure the seeds did not cross pollinate last season, and see what I have🙏🙏
Beautiful Winter Scene❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
