I appreciate the detailed video. Very thorough! I'm the manufacturer and am introducing updated version of these tips. Same size and quality, but new clamp design allows fit for many more BMWs as well a Audis and VWs. Essentially any dual or quad exhausts with tailpipe OD from 2 1/8" to 2 1/2". Bought the same tips for my e46 m3, it adds a nice touch to the car. I was in the same boat of wanting bigger tips, but not necessarily a loud exhaust. Great video!
Can’t go bigger than 3”, unless you do some custom modifications. The oem exhaust exit on oem muffler is close to each other. These tips are slightly off center. Here is the link, you can see. I know this is an old post but u wouldn’t happen to know the OD of those inner pipes you cut off?
There’s a slight gap between them….could you have gone for 3.25”?
