I've probably watched 40 or 50 of your videos by now... look forward to watching more. You are an artist. I've heard you say some self-deprecating stuff in the past because maybe you're not a licensed practicing architect, but I can tell you as you probably already know... most architects don't have the skills you have to conjure from your imagination the models/renderings you do routinely. Most architects are subservient to clients misguided ideas of what looks good.. and hey... it's their money so what the hell. But you're amazing. I'm so amazed by your super deep knowledge of this program! I'd love to know how long you've been working with it. If Autodesk doesn't have you on some kind of developers advisory board they're idiots because again.. you're truly amazing! Thanks for all the wisdom you're sprinkling on us newbies!!
Hi, BA. Hope you're doing well and that I'm not too late: I have a problem: The lights rendering on my Revit (2018) are working with me at all. The types 'spot', 'square' and 'circle' lights are too dim upon rendering, and the 'line' lights are too bright. I don't understand why at all. They're all the same intensity and luminosity and color and all, and tampering with the rendering lighting/shadowing dials somewhat improves some light types only to screw over others. After days of trying to fix the problem in vain, the internet didn't give me any answers other than using the 'Photometric Web' type of lights, of which I have no families. I looked for them but couldn't find any like they show on some RUclips videos. Every time I get a bearing it betrays me. Have you any good advice here?
i always wanted to know why not that much emphasis wasn't put into night renderings in projects. i mean ppl seem to forget that a building lives at night also...
Why not link to 3ds max with a sky hdri then you won’t need to use photoshop? You can then batch render 12 renders over night with little to no post production as vray render engine has a post production feature. Feel free to reach out if you need some help.
Complicated answer... super fast computer with insufficient memory... will take forever. Ordinary computer with tons of memory... will take forever. Great computer with tons of memory... hours. If you care to understand why google raytracing and then realize that the task of raytracing a single pixel's outcome is multiplied in complexity by both the resolution setting as well as the pixel size (HD vs 4K etc) of the rendering. Highest res to the highest pixel count multiplies out to a super big number of calculations for your processor. Cheers!!

please sir, what could possibly cause one's project to freezing immediately he/she starts rendering and fixing topo components
I'm new to this. When you say a best quality rendering will take a very long time, do you mean hours? days? Thank you.
