Great Video , i think the structural floor should be separated from the finish layer , because at the end the structural elements will be replaced with the structure model as a link .
I also did that on my project..

If we divide the floor into parts and then apply new material into some area as you explained then, Will that affect the quantity of materials? As at the end we need material quantity.
I have a sloped floor and I want to place a car on it, when I do the front wheels are on the floor but the rear are not because the car perfectly vertical. I can rotate the car but is there an automatic way to place the car on the sloped floor?

why you don't use Split Face (SF) to split the floor instead create and divide parts? it's easy and we can use it in case we have generic slab.

how to plaster finish side face of floor.
I'm on a project now where I need to do this BUT instead of altering the top face, I need to do this on the bottom face of the slab. I want to pull a square peice down below the slab. This is going to end up as a sump. How do you work on the bottom face and not the top? Thanks.
Hi mate thanks for your tutorials. Really helpful. you showed the way to raise any floor side/vertex but only about the upper floor surface. Can this be made also to the bottom surface vertices/sides?

How about editing the curb at the handicap ramp. Is there an easy way to slope the curb to match the bottom of the ramp?
Is there a way to add a curb to the sloped sidewalk. Looks like Revit doesn't like to add a curb to a sidewalk/ floor that has modified grades. (sloped)

Can you tell us triangles at walls like facade. Modern designs of triangles?. Floors secret should be also in walls so we call make incredible walls or roofs.

I have a Revit LT license, modifying floor slabs is one annoying tool that's not included.
I created the different floor finish from one floor and got it to work great in 3D but when I look at my plan view in 2D it all still looks like one floor and I cant see the different floor types. Is there another step to be done or did I do something wrong?

Bro I used Create Parts command for a wall, then I changed the material for the front portion. But when I do rendering for that view the wall reflects it's original material properties rather than the given one.. please tell me the solution for this, it will help me a lot. how can I use 2 materials(finishes) on an interior side of a wall (8m), without having to create 2 individually joined walls? Say were 1 portion is the bathroom (4m) and Kitchen of (4m).
