If you truly want the safest, most positive and life-changing experience possible for your first time with this plant medicine, I suggest traveling to Peru in South America to sit in ceremony with an authentic indigenous shaman at an Ayahuasca retreat.

I had a beautiful experience and felt safe the entire time. I traveled from the US by myself. I will say do your research, Cusco is located very high and there are things you can do before you get there to help with the oxygen deficiency. It gave me high blood pressure, but the retreat had a physician on site who gave me pills to lower my blood pressure. The nurse helped monitor as well. She was such an angel, I will never forget her kindness. Everyone was so kind. I also had a beautiful volunteer experience at the local orphanage. So nice to add this to the retreat. If you can go for some ceremonies, I advise you to do so. Do your research.
Yes, high-altitude travel can lead to altitude sickness. The retreat never mentioned this beforehand, lol. The locals use coca leaves, I noticed it was in all the hotels, but for me it wasn't enough and had to get something from the local pharmacy, which helped. Yes, my experience in the Sacred Valley was very memorable. Much respect. Peace. 🌈🙏
That would be a dream to have come true, unfortunately I I haven't had the luxury to do much traveling in my life maybe one day it definitely would be nice love and light

Hope you've had the experience by now. There are several sites here in the U.S. that might work for you as well if that's better for you logistically

I feel/know im holding heavy heavy heavy energy. Painful energy. Traumatic energy. Ive tried so many forms of treatment/therapy for the last 12 years. Nothing ever seems to quite get me there. But since the start of this journey aya was always present in my mind.. im scared to go to a center and be too much or express too much around others. I feel like it will be intense. (Me) would love anyone whos experienced these journeys to give their insight on my fears. Much love always

ayahuascahealings.com, it was in the Sacred Valley, near Pisac, but I don't think they are in business anymore. You can always search for other retreats in Peru. Much respect to your journey. 🙏💜
