I've been binging all your Vlogs for a few weeks now, and this one was one of the best by far, as we get to see you actually speak a different language a little and Kara hugging the little kids. So relatable and sweet. 😍
I miss the Peruvian Andes so much! It's such a gorgeous and magical place! I really hope to be able to go back for a more extended trip in the future! Thank you for letting us all live vicariously through your amazing videos!
I know that you are enjoying having your parents there. I know I am. I love to hear them talk and then your Dad topped it all off with his "Rocky Top" dance! Go Vols!
Loved how much the weather and landscape changed as you walked. What a beautiful day out. Loved the food based line in the background again Kara about the rock looking like a biscuit 👍🏼😂 Thomas
Another beautiful location. Loving the addition of the drone. It really gives viewers the chance to see the breathtaking beauty of the areas you travel to.
I'm still binge watching to get caught up with y'all. Every one of those lodges looks amazing! I lived in South America for many years as a kid, and in my late 20's. Seeing the updated versions of places I knew is just wonderful. Thank you so much for doing these vlogs. ♥
I know Im asking randomly but does anybody know a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot my login password. I appreciate any help you can offer me
@Albert Calvin Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Ha ha got to be number one the whole place look so lush and the people so friendly. You are both creating awesome video blogs the quality is outstanding and really enjoying your posts stay safe and enjoy
I recently found your Vlog and have been watching some of your old ones, particularly of the places I have been. In 2011, for my 53rd birthday, I did a 5 day hike on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with Mountain Lodges of Peru. They were fantastic and I've recommended them to numerous people over the years. I refer to it as "luxury hiking" because we had a route chef that went with us, donkies that carried the provisions, a 911 horse and all we had to do was carry our personal backbacks. We hiked from lodge to lodge and at the end of each day's hike, while you soaked in the hot tub, the chef prepared excellent dinners. It was the highest I have ever been, as we went over the Salkantay pass at 15,253 ft. Not bad for a guy who has lived at sea leval in South Florida for over 40 years. Dan
What a beautiful hike in such a great place. Those children were so sweet, well behaved and mannerly. I wonder if it's lack of exposure to commercialism and technology that allows them to stay so personable. They learn at a young age to interact with the people and the land around them, and submerse themselves in living in the moment. It's actually pretty amazing.
The Andes! One of my absolute favorite places! So dope! I miss seeing those traditional clothes every day on the Quechua people. You captured them so perfectly
ok Nate.... you don't have to be the tough guy all the time...you can agree the kids are cute and show emotion lol ... the dress of these people is utterly awesome
In a future vlog kara said that all that nate would have to do is say the word and they'd have babies! Nate, this video just shows that Kara wants babies.
Hi Kara and Nate, Greetings from Amsterdam, You two are the best relaxed World Travelers on RUclips I Love every bit of you're journey and you make me feel so close everyday.. So many thanks to all you're good work which made it possible for me to 'visite' a 100 countries too! Many Love from Amsterdam XXX Hendrik

Hi u guys, i'm from Bolivia and casually found your channel one day that i was looking for a video about LaPaz. I've been watching your blog seens then. Loooove your videos and you two are so cool. :)
Love you guys, just a pet peeve, it's Yama's, not lama it means lick hahahaa two L's is Ya so everyone here in the USA pronounces it so very wrong. :) Just one word to learn, not too bad. :D If not mistaken the white ones where Vicuñas.
I'm slightly confused how you ended 2016 with 30 countries and now at 50 - and only a couple of months in to 2017 and only been in a couple of countries in South America....did you add in countries you visited before your full time travel?
Since Nate is usually the one that pushes them to do these long hikes all the time, he should absolutely be the LAST one complaining about weather or stepping in puddles or really ANYTHING!!!!!
Hey guys! You guys are amazing! I would love it if you can paste here the links of this 5 days in consecutive order... I don't know why but I subscribe and it is all just a jumple of countries! haha..... but I really want to do this trek -- just a bit older (cough cough) and not sure I could manage it!
If you click the "uploads" -> "View All" then that is all our videos in order newest - oldest. Or if you click the "Playlists" tab, find "Mountain Lodges of Peru" they are all in order there as well :) There are non-hiking options each day of this tour! You can do a cultural activity and then take a van to the next lodge. We had an older couple in our group who did that and loved it :) Hope you can do this tour!!! It's incredible! Good luck and let us know if you have questions :)
I love the thing Nate does when he points out destinations. It really helps to give perspective on what is, after all, a 2-dimensional experience.
I've been binging all your Vlogs for a few weeks now, and this one was one of the best by far, as we get to see you actually speak a different language a little and Kara hugging the little kids. So relatable and sweet. 😍

Nate, you are getting really good with the Drone, great shots. I wonder why the area is wet and luscious but very little trees?
They are above timberline because of the altitude. Only certain trees will grow and they are short.
Love the videos--I can't climb, so I'm living my dreams through you. We are in lockdown in Michigan. Where are you now and what are you doing?
wonder if the valleys at 6.35 were formed by glaciers, looks like it
My husband wants to know what sunglasses Nate has.
