Fun Fact: My great great grandfather was crushed to death in WW1 when a piece of artillery was rolled over his body, he had been shot and was lying in the ground but it ‘‘twas not the bullet that wound end his life.

When the enemy starts wheeling out their artillery to counter bombard you specifically, you know you've done a good job.
Damm straight, at many points of this video, especially on the map Foxhole, all match it was just artillery vs artillery

So supposedly, one of the reason most of the european (particularly eastern european) nations had Stick Grenades, and America had Baseball grenades (this was before everyone settled on Pineapple) was because AXE THROWING was a fairly common past time in Europe.

I very much doubt these kinds of stories. They just sound good so people repeat them. At the end of the day, a grenade is a device that has to be thrown while being relatively compact, and there's only so many ways you can do that. While it wouldn't surprise me that militaries would try to make the most of common sports in a given nation, the actual design of the weapon probably doesn't have much to do with any of that. Stick grenades are just a way of getting a bit more range out of a grenade at the expense of making them less space efficient. Thrown axes are also far heavier, thrown at short distances and require the edge to be aligned to the target

Was always interested in Holdfast because of how interesting the game looked because of the setting of the game and also memes with how people acted ingame but I thought this game was amazing and after seeing this new ww1 update this game got even better. I gotta say that intro was amazing, you're really great at editing Plips and I liked the way you hid those codes, wanted to try the game but those people are rats they were fast to get them lol. Really well made video and I'd love to see you play this game more.

5:40 when you were controlling that howitzer, it’s like you had danger close, noobtubing those people scoring multiple multi-kills. That was a beautiful sight to see in WW1! In fact, you controlling the artillery are those part that made me laugh a lot.

The first couple days after the DLC launched, every game I played the other players were respectful, not blasting music and taking the game seriously...
Then everyone remembered it was holdfast...
It felt surprisingly comforting for things to go back to normal...
