Because I enjoy most of the things about NGS, I have been interested in the story since 2022. That said, I'm glad others are now hopping on board. I just hope the big-wigs keep up the momentum. Not just with the story, not just taking more inspiration from PSO2, but improvements to quality of life.
sorry the protagonist is a clon of the true guardian(protagonist pso2 ash) In short we are a clone of ash Therefore, it wouldn't be awkward if that happens, but it would be strange if it happens since thousands of years have passed and that would imply that Ash is alive too, which doesn't make sense in the context of the current story.
@@RedEyedDRAG00N impossible zephetto he tells us that we are a clone created from cells from previous records of what was known as Arks in the past, precisely we are clone 909 to which he calls us that and that is why I say we are Ash's clone, one of the two guardians of pso2 base.
Kinda feels like after three years of tease the story is now rushing to its end. Our characters are already at level 90 and we have a big bad heading straight for us. This patch's story was pretty dang good, essentially the exact thing I wanted right after Chapter 5. Too bad it's been a year since Chapter 5 and we had the abysmal Chapter 6 between now and then, so all of the hype is kind of gone. I'll see this through to the end but I'm a bit worried it'll be another year before we get the next decent chunk of actual story.
That is a fair take, Sega could easily rush this and wrap things up in just a couple chapters having us instantly take care of this big bad. That would be incredibly dumb but would not be surprising given what we got the past 3 years already. Every problem we’ve encountered has been instantly solved except the dolls Dark Falz which took 4ish chapters. If they do this, they would leave everyone with a sour taste in their mouth since people have been waiting so long for good things with NGS. I don’t think people could trust Sega with another Phantasy Star title and would not be so lenient as they have been
Zephetto: "Welp that concludes my speech. I was going to give you the code to take control of the Dolls but that information along with other things you probably wanna know are scribbled down on a random datapod somewhere on Halpha. Your best bet is to supress enemies in each zone until Ilma, Pharia, and Manon can stumble ass backwards into the solution while treating the rest of the crew like they are complete idiots. Farewell, until the plot needs me at a later time." Crawford: "Wait, why did Zephetto need a new body when his old one defeated the entire Starless vangard alone? If the Starless only eat photons, and they went away for 1000 years, shouldn't they have starved to death? If Zephetto was the only surviver of the original Starless attack, who were the other members of resurgence arks?"
Fun note about how Zephetto is written: he never lies. He only speaks selectively. "I am unable to move from my current position." "I doubt that I'll be able to extricate myself from this situation on my own." All he did was omit the exact 'where' and 'why'. Anyone else notice Manon is a little put off by Ilma and Pharia getting along working on the new weapon? Those two seemed to get along well in prior chapters, and now it seems like they're keeping to that, which I'm okay with. I see Mr. Vile has graduated from eating red and yellow Yumblies to eating Photons. XD He's gonna challenge us again with the mighty power of his rubber-banding. :D
Since Zephetto was sharing Pharia’s body… wasn’t Vael technically in there too before getting the clone? I wonder if that would have any implications on Pharia or I am thinking too hard
@@CriticasterQ : If he can control her nervous system in part, it could present an issue where Vael could do it too, or even find her to be a suitable vessel if Zeph's new body is destroyed, like Apprentice.
If you ever want to mess with sound sliders, to either record or pay attention to dialogue, you should keep sound effects as low as you can since they tend to overlap with themselves and cause a mess, after that player character voice is fine to mute or keep slightly higher than SFX, and finally BGM ok to leave at 50% or 80% of whatever you have at Other Characters Voices which you should have as high as you can.
What I meant by human like is that we have an enemy that isn’t just a mindless machine that has motive, background, and will potentially be an enemy that will talk and develop as time goes on. Can’t say for sure until we get more lol
Chapter 5 was great. I also don’t think da story is bad (or really all dat different in tone from PSO2). I just think how it’s presented in-game doesn’t serve it well. When I play it through from start to finish, it’s much more gratifyin’.
That third option with the brief flashback moment apparently _only_ appears if yo cleared the PSO2 base story, too.
I picked third and didn't expect that to happen. Also didn't expect it to be reserved for those who played through the og.
@khiplouke9883
I thought it was just "another option".
Thanks!

If we are the original guardian, it's gonna be really awkward meeting Matoi again if they're really bringing her back
She aint coming back.

nice to see we all had the exact same reaction when Zeph said "take care of your world"
Peace and Blessings! Let’s go!

That music bug was because of connection issues. Been experiencing connection problems and constant 630s myself lately.

I am such a fan of the fantasy star series... but most of the episodes released have been useless filler
