Shura Ending | Sekiro Shadows Die Twice | Emma and Isshin Boss fight

Fromsoft does not disappoint with their bad endings, though this choice does cut the game short….

The old dog's still got some tricks, eh. Tough fight this one, since it's essentially 3 phases with Emma.
No surprise why this is the bad ending, not only do you kill the waifu but also the cool old dude, then go on a full Demon of Hatred rampage afterwards.
The jump sweep punish can be a little hit and miss, that's why I've always preferred Leaping Kicks/High Monk, it starts off with a jump so you don't even have to press the jump initially, then comes down with a massive posture damage attack, so you don't need to press jump again (and potentially miss). You can also use Ichimonji one the way down with mid-air combat arts but then you still have to do the initial jump so I've always found Leaping Kicks/High Monk easier. You could also Mist Raven the sweep (again skipping the jump) and then do combat arts on the way down but then you're using emblems, looks flashy as hell though and would still be more reliable if those double jumps are not as consistent as you need them.
Anyway, good use of the shield there by the end with Projected Force. 👌
You don't see it because of the way the shot is framed at the end cut scene but when Owl comes back he's actually holding Genichiro's head. So he was off executing him while you had your hands full with Kuro's guardians. He took that other mortal blade by force. You can find videos about it on youtube if you want to see those scenes from a different perspective, I think Zullie the Witch or Sekiro Dubi have a video on it.

I was wondering what was up with the counter slash timing, I’ll have to try out the mist raven. Especially since it and the sabimaru were my least used of the tools.
Damn Owl really was taking care of business, I didn’t even consider how he came into possession of the second mortal blade. Rip Genichiro, I wonder why they decided not to show it considering how violent the game already is.
As far as difficulty goes, it is my personal opinion that Both Isshins are tied for the 3rd spot, with Owl Father at #2 and the demon at #1 most difficult boss.
I have to keep in mind that this was new game plus 3, so perhaps it bumped up the fight’s difficulty.
As for my favourites it goes Emma and Isshin at #3, Owl Father at #2, and Isshin the Sword Saint at #1.
I just wish that the game didn’t finish this early for those who made the bad decision…
