@@lucaspurney7770 genuine answer, most fromsoft games (and a lot of PC games nowadays) are timed via 'in-game' time to reduce record dependence on how fast your computer can get through load screens/quit outs/etc. :) This is done via a program that runs alongside the game which adjusts the timer to be accurate!

Loading screens on worse hardware would be longer, and world records being determined by load speeds at the top level would be dumb. Plus, most world records of verified for in game time regardless, meaning his timer in stream doesn’t really even matter anyways.

There were obviously breaks and restarts--got my ass whooped I just had to put it down repeatedly. Idk what happened this year but started a new save and just ended up steam rolling it in places where I used to have so much trouble. Fought all optional bosses too. Making my way through 2nd playthrough now. Something just finally clicked. Finally caught the vibe for Sekiro the Sword Rhythm Remix 😎 These 18min runs tho. Sheesh...

Timer does go back a second or so on one of the quit outs but I don’t know enough about to run to say if that’s normal.
